Story
Meet this cutie named Arya! She and her siblings came in July 11, 2023 and are keeping their paws crossed that it’s not too much longer before they are adopted into their FOREVER home. They are 4 months old (late September), current on shots, and full of happiness and love to share. Just need someone or a family to give them a chance at a fabulous life that they so deserve! Please know that kittens do great in pairs (always a friend to play with when family is away), toys toys toys the more the merrier, and cats love to climb. Climbing post are wonderful to have around. Also keeping their nails trimmed every 3 weeks will reduced their need to “scratch to file back nails”. Stop by for a visit and give Arya and her siblings a chance at a fabulous life the need! We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Adopt-a-Pet as up to date as we would like. So please, COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to one or more kitties today! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery, and some vets honor the voucher 100%! Such a great deal -- while also saving a life!! All of our cats are tested for FIV as well as Feline Leukemia before being placed up for adoption. Not quite ready for the commitment of adoption but would love to contribute to the health and happiness of our feline fur babies? We'd very much appreciate some litter, or food (especially kitten food - Purina is their favorite!). Maybe you will have some time to snuggle and love on them while you're here. It makes their time here more enjoyable when they get extra love & attention. Also, we need volunteers & foster homes! Come to the shelter to apply! The shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm (we close from 1pm-2pm for lunch), and Saturday 10am-4pm. Hope to see you soon!

Story
Meet this beautiful girl named Hilda! She came into the shelter January 16, 2024 as a stray and was never reclaimed so she’s now awaiting her adoption day. She came in around 8 weeks old and is current on shots. She came in a scared kitten and is settling in but will need a home that will help her settle in and feel security and loved. Loved when I reached in and loved on her. Just a beautiful young girl who deserves to have an equally loving FOREVER home to call her own. Maybe you’re perfect for sweet Hilda?! Story
Meet this precious girlie named Itty Bitty! She and her older brother BoBo were surrendered over to the shelter on April 20, 2024 when their owners health was declining and no one to care for them. Sad for these sweet kitties who are shy and out of the cozy comfort zone that they have been accustomed to. Itty Bitty is 2 years old, current on shots, and already spayed. She’s currently in the communal cat room and settling in nicely. It’s very common for cats be be shy and unsure with nothing familiar to them. Once back in a home I feel certain that Itty Bitty will come out of that shy shell and be a perfect cat. Maybe you have the most perfect home for this sweetheart? Maybe even her 10 year old brother Bobo too!? We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Adopt-a-Pet as up to date as we would like. Story
Meet this cutie named Cinny Twist! She came into the shelter as a stray on July 9, 2024 and was never reclaimed so she is amongst the many kitties awaiting their chance at knowing a happily ever after. Maybe you can make her dreams of a loving FOREVER home come true!!? Cinny Twist is 4 months old (as of 8/10/24), current on shots, and just a shy but sweet young kitty who deserves to know true happiness and love from a wonderful person or family. She enjoys the company of other cats and soaking up attention from her human friends. Just takes her a little time to warm up to you. Maybe you have the most pur-fect FOREVER home for Cinny Twist …maybe another kitten too? Kittens do well in pairs & really enjoy the company of another cat around. Also kittens love to climb…tall climbing post are extra awesome for them. Did you know clipping their nails every 4-5 weeks reduces their need to scratch in order to file nails back…may require one person holding while other one clips. Toys toys toys the more the merrier…hope these tips help. We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Adopt-a-Pet as up to date as we would like. Story
Tiny Tank’s story started right before July 4th when he ran up to us from the street, immediately crawling up our legs, and perching on our shoulders. We immediately took him in due to how malnourished he looked and weren’t sure if he would make it. Within a week he was gaining weight and showed his playful nature. And after a couple weeks he was full interacting with my other two cats and showed a lot of interest in sleeping on our laps. He is the most loving kitten and even puts up with our large puppy. Tank would be good with anyone from a first time cat owner to an experienced cat owner. His favorite thing to do is flips when he’s playing and his favorite past time is definitely eating.
