Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. These boots are made for walking and that's just what they'll do. One of these days these boots are gonna walk on home with you! Boots has been at the shelter for quite a while and has seen many of his friends go home. That hasn't broken his spirit though. He still enjoys lounging in the window soaking up the sunbeams with his kitty friends. Boots is fairly laid back and would love to go home with someone who likes to binge watch their favorite shows with him. He'll try not to hog the remote!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.  Learn more about our Adoption Information here and fill out an application here.   November 5, 2024, 7:46 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our sweet Dixie came to us over 2 years ago. We often don't know much about our animals' past life but we wonder what type of life Dixie had. She's been quite shy since we've had her and always seems like she's waiting for something bad to happen. When people visit her room, she often makes herself hidden or simply shuts her eyes and tenses up. She has reluctantly accepted continued visits and head scratches from one of our volunteers. We're not sure but she may actually be somewhat enjoying it in this video. Dixie is an older gal, almost 7 years old and deserves to retire to a home where she can finally relax.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Daisy girl came to us as a very scared kitty hissing at whoever dared approach her cage. She often had a look of concern like she was waiting for something bad to happen. We're not sure what happened in her young life to make her so cautious but we gave her space and lots of treats and kind words. Her hissing has stopped and she now looks at us with curiosity. She will sometimes allow pets but will sometimes panic and retreat. She has given several volunteers a little love tap before retreating! We're still working on building a relationship with her on her terms. Daisy may prefer the freedom and space of a safe barn home or an indoor home willing to be patient with her sweet and sour cattitude!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age.
