Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Tchotchke is typical tuxedo hooligan.  She was rescued by a Windsor Kittens volunteer in September 2023, which is also her birth month. She is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, including rabies . Tchotchke loves perching on shoulders and playing with everything. She is an outgoing and full of life. She loves to get a little feisty and jump on her stuffed toys and chase your ankles. She will greet you at the door, follow you around and be a part of everything you do. Tchotchke prefers to save her snuggles and affection for when shes nice and tired. She will then hang on your shoulder or curl up in your lap, opening up that little motor of hers. Tchotchke enjoys her dog friends but can be cautious with anyone new. She generally will meet new people but will avoids pets until she's more comfortable. This petite little girl is constant entertainment and will keep everyone on their toes with her antics.  Plan Eligibility:  Adopt Now If you are interested in Tchotchke, please complete an application here:  https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=BBTNKHMB July 3, 2024, 1:09 pm

Story
In the words of her foster family "Rosemary is the most chill cat I've ever met. Unflappable!" Rosemary (Rosie, for short) is a female domestic shorthair young adult tortoiseshell. She was rescued in April 2024 alongside her newborn litter of five, affectionately known as the "Spice Babies" and we estimate her birth month to be April 2023. She is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, including her rabies vaccine. She is negative for FeLV/FIV and vaccinated against feline leukemia and FVRCP, accordingly. Now having successfully raised and weaned her babies, she is ready for a life of luxury fit for a queen. Rosemary is affectionate and sweet -- she will greet you when you come home. She loves to bird watch, and often makes adorable chirp sounds while her tail goes back and forth watching them from the windows.  Unfazed by guests and her resident dog, Rosemary knows how to be center of attention when she wants to be, or be a ninja out of sight when she feels like it. She is really enjoying the solo cat life, so as long as you can give her love and attention, she'll be a purrfect fit in your home.  Plan Eligibility: -Adopt Now If you are interested in Rosemary, complete our adoption application here:  https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=BBTNKHMB July 3, 2024, 1:09 pm

Story
Boots is a domestic shorthair senior adult tuxedo. He was rescued in April 2024 alongside his son, Pants. They are a bonded pair. We estimate his birth month to be April 2012. He is neutered, vaccinated, including his rabies vaccine. He is negative for FeLV/FIV and vaccinated against feline leukemia and FVRCP, accordingly. While we understand that people often overlook senior animals, we hope that their story will change your mind. The original owner of Boots & Pants passed away, and unfortunately the spouse could not take care of them and abandoned them. When Windsor Kittens stepped in, we did so after learning that they were being kept in a small dog crate outdoors. Now they are inside in a loving foster home, getting to experience love and care again. They love to nap cuddled up together and bird watch.  Boots is more social than Pants, but together they make a truly loving pair. Their adoption rate together is $150. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Mouse is a female domestic short hair with beautiful white and gray markings. She was originally planned to be a part of our TNR Program, a trap-spay-release community cat. However, following her spay surgery, we realized she was social and wanted a chance to find her furever home.  We estimate her birth month to around May 2023.  She is spayed, has her rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and was combo tested negative for Fel/FELV and vaccinated accordingly. Still a bit shy, she has really come to life in her short time in foster care. She loves following the resident cat, Curtis, around and will take his lead when exploring her foster home. She loves pets and attention from humans, and finds the time she gets with them special. We believe with a home of love and patience, she'll be a purrfect cat and addition to your home. We believe she will be happiest with another cat in the home, so those applicants will be prioritized.  Plan Eligibility: Adopt Now If you are interested in Mouse, complete our adoption application here:   https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=BBTNKHMB.   July 3, 2024, 1:09 pm

Story
Hansel is a young tabby male kitten. He was rescued by one of our vet partners after being dropped off at the clinic as an abandoned newborn with his sister, Gretel. Together, they were bottle fed and nursed to the healthy, fun kittens they are today!  Hansel has started his kitten vaccines (e.g., FVRCP) and is negative/negative for FeL/FeLV. He is scheduled to complete his kitten vaccination series, and neuter surgery late July. We estimate his birth month to be April 2024.    Hansel loves human attention and affection! He loves to be played with and loves to be held and pet. He will tell you when he wants attention -- he's very, adorably vocal!   Due to his young age and affection toward his siblings, Hansel is required to go to a home where another pet is present, ideally a cat. Applications seeking to adopt Hansel & Gretel together will be prioritized.    If you are interested in Hansel, please complete an application here:   https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=BBTNKHMB July 3, 2024, 1:09 pm

Story
Kitkat and Sadie came into the rescue near the same time. Kitkat was a scared momma with her babies, who has now learned to trust people and loves her cuddles. She is slow to warm up and will need a patient person who is willing to give her time to adjust to her new surroundings. Sadie was around 12 weeks when she came in and tested FIV, positive. We will provide a new up to date test at the time of adoption. Sadie doesn't leave KitKat's side so they will need adopted together. Both are fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Meet and greets will be set up in Concord, both are very sweet and very playful.

Story
Daisy was found by a sweet couple, that saw she needed help. They felt that she was either dumped or left behind as she was so skinny and very hungry. Daisy had a major gash in her shoulder that we helped get stiched up, and back in good shape. Daisy has been a doll, so sweet and cuddly from day 1, with her family that found her, and found her help, next on to her new foster. She transitioned to new environments very quickly with no issues. Daisy is quirky, in the fact that she sleeps in the cupboard. She knows how to open up the cabinet door, climb in, close the door behind her and she will sleep on the stack of towels. Anytime you can't find her, we have learned to go check the cabinet and see if that's where she was sleeping.

Story
Meet Meatball, Meatball was a pregnant female that came into rescue to have her babies, and low and behold, Meatball is a boy. No babies in there, and that was how he got his name. Meatball is a lover boy. He will tolerate other cats, but he's not their best friend, now that could change in his forever home. He lives with many cats and kittens at the moment and will show that he is the boss to everyone. Dogs he is indifferent to, as long as they are not in his space, he doesn't mind them. Meatball is looking for a forever home to call his own, and his own person to sit on.

Hanna was found on the streets pregnant, and we brought her into rescue out of the elements, into safety, warmth and comfort to have her last one and only litter of kittens. Hanna will be spayed, prior to leaving the rescue. She is an adorable momma kitty, that is sweet and loveable. Story
I’m currently having to rehome my 3 year old female cat, Yasha. As a college student, I’m no longer in the position to provide a good home her. She is spayed and has her updated distemper and rabies vaccine. She is very sweet and playful. She loves the little cat toys from walmart, looking out the window, watching birds, popcorn (without the kernel), sleeping on her back, and having the side of her face scratched. I can also donate toys, bowls, food, a cat tower, litter, and a litter box.

These pups are in Charlotte, North Carolina too!

Story
Trix is a super sweet tuxedo kitty who doesn't let her missing leg slow her down. We've had her for 2.5 years after adopting her from a shelter and our other kitty does not get along with her. We've tried everything to get our tabby to get along and nothing worked. We love Trix. She loves to be pet and will come right up demanding pets. She is good around kids and allows our 3 year old to pet her. She is vocal and loves to have conversations. She does have a touch of that tuxedo sass but it only shows up in her dislike of being picked up and the occasional warning nibble if she doesn't want to be pet. She loves to play with pretty much anything she can find and also loves to run around. She is capable of going up and down stairs and does not have any issues getting around due to her missing leg. You will never find her on one of your counters because that is the only thing high enough she can't jump up on ( she can get up onto chairs and the cat tower fine).

Story
Ghost, a gray cat abandoned at the local CMPD shelter, his past shrouded in mystery. Despite his tumultuous history, Ghost found solace in the care of the his current owner, who ensured he remained up-to-date on his vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. He struggled with behavioral issues around female cats, but he remains a friendly companion to humans and a non-picky eater. He is about a year old who is perfectly balanced between playful and cuddly. His favorite toys are string toys and any toy he can carry around his mouth for his new adventures.

Story
Arnold is a super friendly cat who loves people. He enjoys snoozing most of the day but when he’s up, he is playful and moderately active. He's a very confident kitty and loves to sit on a warm lap getting some pets. Although Arnold is primarily an indoor cat, he loves to be outside and an ideal home would have a yard or little backyard area or balcony where he could spend some time occasionally.
