Story
Deveraux came to us after she was left abandoned in her previous home when her owners moved away. Now she`s living it up with us in Mitzi`s room until she gets adopted. Understandably, Deveraux has been a bit shy. She`s not looking to get her heart broken again. But she has the makings of a loving cat (as we`re sure you`ve heard many times before). She`s really is warming up and some of our volunteers have found out that if you pet her, she`ll do this funny little headstand combined with loaf position as she gives the loudest purr!

Story
Easton arrived through our cruelty department with three other cats. Due to some limited socializing, he`s been slow to trust people. Although he has gained a lot of confidence since coming to the shelter and is warming up to the idea of letting people pet him.

Story
Bumper was found in the bumper of a car. We`re not sure where exactly she came from with all her hitch hiking, but we have found out she`s a big fan of squeezing herself into small spaces to hide. So we don`t exactly wonder how she ended up in the Bumper of a car. Bumper is currently working on gaining confidence at the shelter to make public appearances in return for pets and treats.

Story
Jerome came to us through our cruelty department. He`s still adjusting to the shelter but hasn`t been too shy when interacting with staff and volunteers. He doesn`t dislike getting pets from strangers, but he hasn`t yet decided if he likes them enough to purr. He does push his head into your hand though.

Story
Chesterfield came to us when he was found abandoned in his home. We don`t know why someone would leave him as he is a sweet and affectionate boy who will wake up from naps to chat with you about why you should give him pets. He also isn`t shy about approaching strangers for pets as he knows they are wonderful and that he is more than deserving of them.

Story
Hello there! I’m Cato! I’m a charming and playful kitten, rescued along with my mom Polly from the streets. We’re hoping to find our forever home together, but if that’s not possible, I’d need to join a family with another young cat or kitten to play with. After experiencing life on the streets, I appreciated the simple joys – like feeling safe and loved. And, might I add, I’m quite the dashing gentleman, boasting a stunning coat that’s sure to catch your eye! It may take me a little time to warm up to new friends, but once I do, get ready for play time galore! I know a bright future awaits and I am just so exited to find my forever family so I can light up their lives! Cato's date of birth is on or about April 25, 2024, he has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS. *All kittens need to be adopted in pairs or into a home with another kitten or playful young adult cat. To express an interest in adopting him, you need to fill out our adoption application, including as much detail as possible at https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/.  Please be sure that your email address is correct. Story
Hi there, Polly here! I am a long-time stray who was finally rescued with my son Cato by my side. We are just the cutest mother and son duo looking for our forever home (Cato is also posted for adoption). I could be adopted with Cato or by myself.  I am a very sweet cat who loves to play, but I can be a bit shy when you first meet me. I was used to living in constant fear for both our safety and I was always worrying about where we would find our next meal. I am finally starting to realize that we have been rescued and that I can RELAX! I would love a home with windows I can look out and I LOVE cat trees! I also like to explore, play with wand toys, and eat treats. In return, I will give you all my love and affection for the rest of my life.  Polly is about 1 year old and has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS. To express an interest in adopting her, you need to fill out our adoption application, including as much detail as possible at https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/.  Please be sure that your email address is correct.
