He likes to wear his tuxedo every day and has plenty of love to give you! He is friendly, carefree, is good with other cats and dogs, and is Mr. Smooth! (It may be important to note that although Fred is good with other cats, he does tend to be a dominant male and is currently top cat here! He would be best in a home with no other male cats due to his dominant personality and he would also be fine as an only pet.) "Fred Astaire... dance on air!" We are absolutely certain that Fred Astaire will dance his way into your heart as he has ours! Fred was previously living as an outside stray cat before being taken in and helped by some good Samaritans! He is now putting on the Ritz and he knows that the sky's the limit as far as his future is concerned! He loves to eat and to indulge in catnip! Suzy has been with us since January of 2022 so a little over 2 YEARS now! She is brave, independent, pretty, and strong. She was initially found outside trapped under somebody's deck during a major snowstorm, snowed in, and freezing with some frostbite on her nose! Poor Suzy was pretty emaciated when she was found but quickly gained weight and she has now become a healthy and pretty young lady with absolutely STUNNING golden-copper eyes! We just LOVE her very unique and gorgeous eye color and her pretty coat! She is probably about 3 years old now. It is important to note that Suzy would definitely prefer a home without any other cats but is fine with cat-friendly dogs that are willing to give her some space! Suzy would also be fine as an only pet! She has the typical sass of a tricolored female kitty and would do best with an experienced adopter. (It is very possible that she would be a lot different in personality in a real home without other cats.) We are not recommending a home with young children because she does scratch at times when she has had enough handling. She likes to be pet on the top of her head and tends to be a bit choosy with humans at times. Noble has a pretty calm personality and is a low drama cat when living among other cats! He can often be found sitting on a windowsill watching the birds or hanging out by the couch! LANCE HAS BEEN SPONSORED SO HIS ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED IN HOPES TO HELP FIND HIM A HOME! Sir Lancelot is a real stunner and is your knight in shining armor! With his handsome white fur and striking, romantic eyes (one blue and one greenish gold-known as heterochromia) Lance is very interesting to look at and is the first cat we have had with 2 different color eyes here at the rescue! It is important to note that the vet says that he has some permanent scarring causing his eyes to weep regularly. He will need his eyes wiped several times a day and possibly ongoing medication as needed to help manage his eyes. ***PLEASE NOTE! The ongoing medication he is currently on is just eye drops... they are not super expensive and are very easy to apply! Really not a big deal but due to this, he is a cat who is considered to have some special needs.*** Sir Lancelet has a hearty appetite and enjoys getting plenty of attention from his people! What a little lover he is! If you are looking for a sweet, friendly male cat that likes to play and spend time with you, Lance is your man! Lancelot gets along well with other cats once given an appropriate amount of time to adjust but is sometimes intimidated by other males. Being the ladies' man that he is, he tends to prefer the company of female cats but he would also be fine as an only pet. Lance also does fine with kittens and dogs. It is important for him to start out with a special little area of his own and he likes to eat in a separate area away from other animals if he has the choice.
