Story
Meet Maxim and Diamond, 3 year old bonded brothers. They are afraid of people and animals but once they know they can trust you they will come around and lay next to you, purr and sleep with you at night. As much as I hate to let them go I feel I can’t give them the life they deserve. I honestly shouldn’t have adopted them having 2 dogs and another cat, it’s just to much and one of my dogs doesn’t like them at all. She is always barking at them and chasing them away. They stay in the basement a lot and it’s not a life they could have without dogs who don’t like them. They are both fixed, UTD on rabies shot, and are microchip. I want them to go to a great loving home. I will send them with their bed, cat tree, food dishes if wanted.

Story
Sophie was adopted 9 years ago at the SPCA. She is currently 9 years old. Sophie has had a hard time adjusting to other dogs in the home and newly infant child. Sophie would be an amazing loving cat in a home with no other kids or animals, specifically dogs. Sophie enjoys cuddling (on her own time, lol), but is also a very independent cat. Sophie is solely a domestic indoor cat and has never experienced being outdoors. Sophie needs an updated Rabies Vaccine (EXP 2/2025) otherwise healthy and up to date.

Story
I (Abby) got Linus as a kitten from a neighbor in my apartment complex 2 years ago! My husband (Sam) is allergic to cats and has graciously been his buddy for the past year and a half. Linus is playful, energetic, spunky, loves climbing in high places, hiding in paper bags and makes cozy homes in cardboard boxes. He loves sunbathing, chittering at birds outside, feeling the breeze in his fur and playing with snow:) He has a bit of separation anxiety, and gets sad when we go to do laundry without him. He’s lived with a 5 y/o male cat before, but had more energy than his older brother. Linus willingly wears a thunder vest when needed and takes gabapentin before vet visits or being groomed. He needs a few different scratching options, as well as a patient groomer to maintain his nails. We are expecting our first child within a few weeks, and the family he was going to is unable to take him anymore. He’s a loyal bean and enjoys sleeping at the feet of those he loves:)

Story
We have had this stray cat for the winter. He is friendly, although shy with strangers. We have a yellow lab and they get along great. We have a 9 year old daughter and they also get along. The cat loves to be outside. We are a busy family who travels alot and its not conducive to have a cat who needs to go in/out frequently. I worried all winter about keeping him in. My neighbors have complained because he wanders the neighborhood. I hope for him to find a family with some outdoor space for him please. Prefers to use outdoors for bathroom.

Story
She made herself at home after we moved in now she wont leave. I am Currently not financially stable to take care of this cat plus another stray and no one will take her and I don't have the money to go to any shelters and I've already tried calling. She might be pregnant because her stomach is getting big.

Story
Hi! This is Jill. She is a senior lady (approximately 11-12 years old) who just wants to sleep the day away on a pillow or a lap or even a laptop. Honestly, she just likes to sleep. She also loves watching TV on the couch while receiving scritches and scratches. She purrs like a motor and is a goofy, chonky cuddle bug. The only time she makes any noise is if dinner is slightly late. Jill lived most of her life in Brooklyn, NY with her mother and a brother from the same litter. When her original owner had to move to a smaller apartment in 2024, Jill came to live in Buffalo with her new family. Her Buffalo family had an existing male cat who was very excited to have an adopted sister. Jill was not excited to have a new adopted brother though and has made it very clear that she will not share space with him. She took over a guest bedroom and rarely leaves it. We think both cats deserve happiness and space, which is why we want to find Jill a new forever home.
