Story
Hello! I'm Charlie! I'm just a three months old baby boy, but oh boy do I pack a wallop in the cute and fun departments! My mama is a Bobtail cat and she was a great mama! She fed me and socialized me and helped me get to be a confident and healthy little kitten. My daddy was Tiger cat and he's no longer in the picture but that's ok because I also had really nice and gentle humans that took good care of me once my mama weaned me. I am great with cats, kids, and dogs and I am an excellent user of the litterbox. I eat dry food and canned food and I am just an all-around super kitty! People can pick me right up and snuggle me because I'm easy breezy lemon squeezy! Story
This cat is black beauty Inkspot! Inkspot has made huge strides in gaining confidence around her fellow human friends. She roams around comfortably while people are visiting and she even allows treats to be set right in front of her! Inkspot was found by a homeowner as a stray living outside on her property. The home owner gave her the name Inkspot and fed her for a few years while Inkspot stayed around her property. After a few years, the homeowner finally was able to get Inkspot into a trap and she brought her to Desert Haven for safety and love and care. Once at Desert Haven she got all the care she had been needing. Inkspot had to have surgery to amputate her tail due to a severe infection. She’s now feeling better than ever! Given the nature of the surgery Inkspot is now on nerve pain medication and will need treatment her entire life to ensure she’s living the most comfortable life possible. Inkspot lives at Desert Haven now and eventually may be ready to have the home she deserves. Let's cheer her on!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 28, 2024, 12:37 pm

Story
Meet Puddy, a mini black puma. Puddy enjoys spending her days hanging out with many of the cats of the Cool Cat Neighborhood, especially Alex and Feather. It can take Puddy some time to warm up to her human friends, but when she does you've gained a wonderful friendship. When she comes up to you to say things like 'hello' and 'I love you', she says it with the softest of meows. It's almost like a little puff of air with a hint of meow. Petsies are her favorite, she especially enjoys butt and head scratches. She'll also take treats directly from your hand and even give you licks aka kisses! Schedule an appointment today to meet Puddy! Message us today right here on Petfinder, or text/call 575-740-0643, e-mail DHanimalrescue@gmail.com! Story
Hello there, I'm Ama! I am very tender and loving, gentle and sweet. I am a young girl with a nice temperament. I started out my life as a stray and then I got pregnant and was the best mama ever to my six babies. I nursed them and loved them and taught them well. Now they are ready to start their own lives with their own families. I wish each of my little babies well! Now, it's my turn at a great life! I got my vaccinations and my spay surgery -- it's my time to shine on my own. I'm no longer a mother, I'm Ama -- beautiful, soft, wonderful house cat. I do insist on being a house cat, a beloved house cat. I will do my part in our relationship, providing companionship and a great friend. Because I started out life without a family, I have some catching up to do. Right now I love being petted but I don't walk over to you to get my petsies. I like for you to search me out, find where I'm snoozing, and give me all the lovins. As I get more and more time to be without my babies, I know I'll get more and more into the human side of life. For now, I push my head into the petting. I wish it never stops. I am an affectionate cat in the making! Who will be the lucky family that gets to shape me into the beloved house cat I dream of? Can't wait to meet you!
