Story
Meet Felix! He is an orange and white tabby who has been with us for a while. He is very shy with people, but he has now made a best friend named Lilly in our catteries. When he calls to her she comes running. While they are not a bonded-pair, we do feel it would be best for them to make a new move together. If you can open your heart and your home to the sweetest pair, they would be the happiest babies! You can meet them at our main ranch location.
We'll also keep you updated on Lilly's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Rodger is FIV+. He can be around other cat-friendly cats as FIV is not as contagious as they once thought. In fact, he lives with several other cats.Rodger was born on 5/1/19 and is a brown tabby from Roswell. His favorite past-times are looking out windows, sitting on window sills, exploring his foster home, and playing. He's a teen boy kitty, so he has a good amount of energy and likes to play with ping pong balls, pole toys, soft toys, and kick toys. He can be picked up (properly of course). He likes to be brushed and has learned to use a cardboard scratcher, not counter jump (NO and finger snap gets him down), and nap on my bed.Because Rodger is FIV+, he needs to be an indoor kitty. He eats both dry and wet food (not mixed together), and has a good appetite. A high-quality food will keep his coat in good condition.Though he should start in a “safe room”, Rodger does well with other cats. When hissed at, he walks away. He likes to box and wrestle with other kitties. He wanders around with a fast pace saying “ggrrrrrr” (so cute!) and sits contentedly on his side between rounds of exploring. He would do best with another kitty of similar age and/or a human who enjoys playing with him.Rodger is current on all shots, neutered and micro-chipped.Rodger’s approximate DOB: 5/1/19 ##1458512##

Story
Tortilla is up for adoption, or she qualifies for our Furever Foster program.  For more information on our Furever Foster program go to https://junesseniorcatrescue.org/foster-a-cat/ Tortilla came to us from the Torrance County Animal Shelter where she turned up as a stray.  She had a microchip, but the owner did not want her anymore.  Poor Tortilla, who was born in 2010, no longer had a home to go home to and life in a shelter for an older gal isn’t good either. We took her into our rescue in hopes of finding a forever home for her.  Tortilla is spayed, up to date on her shots, negative for FeLV/FIV, and microchipped. Here is what her foster mom says about her: **Meet Tortilla: The Sweet Senior with a Heart of Gold** Tortilla is a charming, affectionate, and playful senior tortoiseshell cat looking for her forever home. Despite her age and being diagnosed with kidney disease, Tortilla’s spirit is as strong as ever! She loves to play with toys, curl up for cozy cuddles, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. **What Tortilla Needs:** - A peaceful, quiet home where she can soak up all the attention she deserves. - A loving family who can provide the care she needs to manage her kidney disease. - Tortilla would thrive as the only pet, as she prefers to be the center of attention and would rather not share her space with other animals. **Why You’ll Love Her:** - Tortilla has an adorable personality that shines through, even with her health challenges. - Tortilla’s playful moments will bring joy to any household. - With her soft tortoiseshell fur and beautiful eyes, she’ll melt your heart every day. Tortilla may be a senior, but she’s got plenty of love left to give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your days with, Tortilla just might be the perfect Spayed Female DOB: 7/19/2010 DSH Tortoiseshell Up to date on shots Microchip 985121008367234 ##2179921##
