Story
Robin is a four-year-old tabby girl who was surrendered by her owners when she was two. It has taken Robin a little while to relax and warm up, but she is a sweet girl and is starting to become more affectionate. She likes being petted but not held. Robin coexists well with her foster siblings but wouldn't mind being an only pet. We don't know whether she gets along with dogs. She would probably be fine in a home with children.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved. Story
Hello, I'm BoJangles. I'm a friendly fellow, always eager to greet everyone with a purr. I'm sweet as pie, and loyal too. I have a unique walk due to my back leg, but it doesn't stop me from being the best companion. I love a good nap, it's my favorite pastime. In fact I'm alot like Goldilocks and the Three Bears cause I like to sleep in a different bed each night in my foster room. It keeps my human guessing!!! Don't worry, I'm not lazy, just a bit of a dreamer. I've got plenty of love to give, and I'm waiting to share it with a family that will cherish me. I may not be perfect, but I promise, I'm worth it. Bo is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, tested neg for fiv and felv, all he needs is a forever home! BoJangles is a really nice cat but he keeps getting overlooked. He has been in foster care for over four and a half years.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved. Story
Meet Buddy! He is a sensitive soul, and loves one on one attention. He will gentlly meow for his wet food. He gets along great with other cats even kittens, though he just wants a mellow place hang out. He would thrive in a quiet location with another mellow kitty. He LOVES windows and cat trees! Buddy loves to join you on the couch. When you are relaxing he will come over and gently approach with a little meow to say hello! then he will settle in on a nearby spot to get comfortable by your side. He is FIV + but can live with other cats no problem! FIV is only spread among unfixed cats that fight it is not spread among housecats. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved. Story
* Gigi has been sponsored so her adoption fee will be paid by a generous supporter.**You can also be a long-term foster where FURR will continue to pay for her special food, litter and medical care! Gigi has been fostered in my home with a total of over 24 cats over the course of a year who have all found their forever homes....when will it be Gigi's turn?Gigi is still VERY SHY. She continues to make good progress and wants to be out of her cage more and more. She prefers to keep to herself, but will purr up a storm when you pet her. She even 'makes biscuits'. She also loves to be brushed. She has always been fostered with other cats (24+ over the course of a year!), but she prefers they leave her alone for the most part. They just need to give her a little space. I tell her she's a good girl for having to constantly get used to new cats that come and go.Considering that there are several cats confined to only one room where I foster, she does very well cohabitating with them. Sometimes she does seem interested in the other cats and is even playful at times. She likes catnip toys and wand toys.Gigi needs to be on a high quality food for urinary health. She is currently on a non-prescription variety and is doing well. It's called Nutri Source (dry food) and the picture of the bag is below. She is not a big fan of wet food.  Making sure she only eats her special food is manageable, even with other foster cats in the room. I simply confine her to her cage overnight to eat. She knows the routine and hops right into the crate at night.  Gigi needs a special person or family who will love her as she is and keep giving her the care she needs. She would do best in a quiet household with people and pets who respect her space and understand her personality.Check out all her pics and videos here on her profile: https://www.felineurbanrescueandrehab.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=18709962 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved. Story
Be still our Hearts! Marvin is the type of cat that just melts you. Found living on the city streets he walked right up to trappers for pets, he was asking or help!  Well after his neuter and dental he is like a new man! He is so happy to be inside! Marvin loves to be pet and waits patiently while you make his breakfast. He gets along well with all the other kitties in his foster home. He follows you around like a puppy and loves to sit by your side on the on the couch. He gets bursts of energy and loves to run down the stairs ahead of you. He is a character and just cracks you up.Marvin is FIV + which just means he needs to be kept indoors with proper nutrition just like any other cat. No special care needed. FIV is not casually transmitted thus he can live with other cats as he is doing in his foster home. *adoption fee sponsored by a generous donorMarvin is currently undergoing allergy treatments and doing great! FURR has paid for all his initial allergy testing with a dermatologist and he has begun his injections and they are working! These are done at home once per month. Maintenance will be approximately $50 per month.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved.
