That's how you'll know.) She fights off outside animals. (a squirrel came into the house once, she chased the squirrel away.) She understands to sleep at the end of the bed but you can teach her not to be on the bed. Talk to her and she'll listen, she understands English.

Meet Sonya! Poor Sonya has been through so much in such a short time. Her owner recently died, and he was a bit of a cat hoarder, with ten cats in the house and many, many more outside. When she was first brought inside, she was a real star - showing off how she rolls around on her back, getting along fabulously with other cats. Now that she is at our adoption center, she has become a little shy. She likes getting in her bed and watching the world go by, and scratching on her post, but we'd love to get her back in a home where she can start coming out of her shell again! Sonya has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, received flea prevention, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Meet Bonnie (and her sidekick Clyde)! Bonnie and Clyde were found dumped in a local colony that is unfortunately notorious for people to dump their owned cats when they are no longer wanted. Well, Bonnie and Clyde showed up one day along with a box of kittens (kittens went to another rescue). We suspect that Bonnie and Clyde were mom and dad as they seem to be very comfortable with each other and clinging to each other as they tried to figure out where they were left. Bonnie is now spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, received flea presentation, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. We would LOVE for these two to be adopted together, but are okay separating them if we cannot find a home for them to go together.
