Story
Leo was originally adopted by us when our family lived in Italy, and he can be a very sweet cat. He’ll cuddle right up to you especially if you have a comfy blanket, and keep an eye out for any birds outside of the window. Our vet believes he needs a home with less stress because we’ve been dealing with some issues of him peeing outside of the litterbox for about a year now. I’m hoping to find him a home without other pets, or a home where he can be outside freely for most of the day.

Story
Porsche is a young cat with a rough start. He and his brother were dumped on a porch in the rain. We are working to prove to him he is safe and will never be abandoned again. He has gotten so brave, he is accepting some pets and does not run when approached. He is looking for a patient home to let him continue to grow into the friendly cat we know he will become outside of the shelter environment. The adoption fee is $125 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures.  Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary.  We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws. If you are interested in any of our animals please fill out an application on our website www.townandcountryanimalrescue.org After you have submitted an application and been approved, a Cat Team member will reach out to set up a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the cat team members or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.** Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Animal Rescue and our mission ##2094923##

Story
Audi is a young cat looking for a place to call home. He and his brother were abandoned on a porch in the rain. Audi escaped and spent a week in the wild and did not have a good experience. Once caught he stayed hidden at the shelter whenever possible. He was so scared, we are trying to prove to him he is safe and protected. He has made great strides trusting pets to his paws and sometimes doesn't hide when you catch him exploring. We are excited to see him flourish outside of the shelter environment. Story
Persephone is a beautiful cream-colored cat with one green eye and one blue eye. She is absolutely terrified of the shelter environment. She and her sister Styx originally came from a closed animal shelter in Kansas and were adopted together 4 years ago. Both girls were returned to us when their human moved in with a family full of allergies. After a few years in her previous home, she refused all human contact. She came to us seriously matted and angry. After a full haircut, she looks much better but is still terrified and scared. The shelter is not a good placement for her, but we are doing our best. She and her sister will need the most patience of any cat we have seen in quite some time.  The adoption fee is $125 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures.  Please note, that we do NOT allow the declawing of any cat or kitten we adopt unless deemed medically necessary.  We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws. Story
This beautiful girl can't decide if she is primarily affectionate or curious. She wants all the love then darts out to check out something in the room and come right back for more loving. There is so much kitten in this girl it is hard to believe she is almost one year old! She was briefly adopted but was too much kitten for them. Do not let her quiet demenor at the shelter fool you, in a home she is all energy!
