Josey, An Older Wiser Kitten… Josey has been with us a little longer than we keep most kittens. She has been “The Play Master for the other young summer kittens we were fostering so we decided we’d better keep her till all of her play mates found their fore ever homes. Josey has received constant nurturing since birth. She came to us as a bottle baby, so she is a “real people Kitty”. She is a sweet, loveable, adventuresome girl. She is extraordinarily loving and craves affection. She’s also quite a talker, especially in the kitchen. She is very playful and self-assured. Presently, she is living with several other kittens her age in our presidents SE Sedalia. She plays and rough houses with the kittens and works hard at annoying the older foster cats who find her amusing and sometimes annoying. Josey is in excellent health, has a very big appetite for dry and canned food, of course loves cat treats of all kinds. She is a wonderful little guy who needs the best forever home. Josey has been fully Vet’d. She has been spayed, has received all her shots, been wormed and has an implanted identity tag. She is fully litter box trained. She needs to be an indoor only girl. She has never been outdoors since she was found at 3 weeks old. She doesn’t know the perils of the wild. Josey would be a wonderful addition to your family. Huxley came to us from a lady in south Sedalia. She woke up one morning, went out on her porch and there sat Huxley. When she went back in he followed her. This very kind lady took him in and called us. What a sweet South Missouri lady for doing that. Huxley was born April 20, 2024. He is a beautiful striped gray kitty with white feet and chest and a black tip on his nose. He’s a beautiful boy with a charming personality. Huxley is living in one of our foster homes in Southeast Sedalia with several other cats. They all get along well and test each other’s patience with their interest in teasing and playing. They are a bundle of energy and love their life. They sleep soundly thru the night so they can play hard through the day. Huxley loves people and being cuddled. He loves to tuck his head under your chin and nap there. He loves both wet and dry food, and of course kitty treats! He very likely will grow up to be medium sized kitty. He has a full, rich medium length coat. His coat is incredibly soft and lush. Huxley would be wonderful Pal for you and your family. In spite of his outdoor beginning he needs to be an indoor kitty only. He does not know the perils of the wild. He‘s been indoors since joining his foster family. Huxley is in excellent health. He has been fully vet’d which includes, spaying, all kitten shots, worming, fleaing and the implanting of a micro identity chip. He is fully litter box trained. Happy was my grandfather’s cat. After he passed away about 2 years ago, we have been caring for Happy. That being said, he has began not using his litter box consistently, and trying to steal any food he can possibly get ahold of. He is an incredibly lovable cat, and has gotten along with both our cats and our dog, but I do feel like the extra animals in his life have caused extra stress on him. I want him to have a great life and at this point I feel like we aren’t giving him that.

He came from a hoarding situation and as a result his allergies will flare up every once in awhile so sometimes he has the sniffles. Easily treated with an OTC medicine. His perfect home is quiet with lots of lap time and petting from his human. He is cautious of new people and just needs a quiet home to relax in. He is also vocal and will meow back when talked to by our volunteers. Won't you come give this boy his furever home? These volunteers said there is a furever family out there with fur siblings, somewhere, looking just for me. I just couldn't hardly believe that, how exciting. I'm a very shy fella tho, and don't much care for big city fanfare. I did want to tell you a bit about myself even tho I am a shy guy, so you'd know it's me. I am more of the quiet, small town type. I really love other kitties so if you have a fur kitty or a few who are just needing a snuggle buddy then you've found your guy!
