Hi, I'm Cain. My mom, 8 siblings and I were found on a porch in St Clair, Il. (WAAAY back in 2015). Our mother was ignoring us and was struggling to be able to feed all of us. I have become very friendly and enjoy getting petted. I am also energetic.. As of February 2024, I am about 9 years old. For more information email muttlysloat5@yahoo.com. All cats have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, are current on shots, flea treated, and dewormed. An adoption fee applies. Sam is a very soft and very petite orange tabby girl who is about 10 months old as of March 2017. She is a very shy girl who will need a patient adopter willing to earn her trust. If you put her in your lap, she is content to stay there and fall asleep. She gets along well with other cats and really enjoys canned food, so that is a way you can get her to begin to trust you. Hi, my name is Snuggler. Yes, I like to snuggle! I was found in a yard with many other kittens (yes, that long ago!) and 4 mothers. My foster dad loved on me the first day and I decided I love attention! I am happy to see him and enjoy being doted on. I have friends that play with me but they don't compare to the human attention. I am currently at Mauhaus and just around 6 years old. Come visit me and send applications to muttlysloat5@yahoo.com. Story
Hi!! My name is Abby. I was rescued from Jefferson County Animal Control along with my 4 kittens. The kittens have all been adopted, but I am still looking for my furever home. I am a very pretty, quiet girl who usually minds her own business. I am very shy and will hide when visitors come over. I spend most of my time on a perch where I can nap in peace. Usually I just watch all the activity, but occasionally I will chase the laser light. My favorite thing to do is to nap on my foster Dad’s lap. I’ll even share his lap with other kitties.I’m not a cuddly cat, but will come to you when I want attention. I get freaked out if you try to pick me up, so you have to wait for me to come to you. I used to be very skittish but have come a long way recently. I will even let you walk up and pet me most of the time now. Just a few months ago I would have run away and hidden.I would probably be happiest being the only cat in the house, but I might consider sharing my humans with another cat if it wasn’t aggressive. I am used to dogs and I don’t really mind them. We just leave each other alone. I have not been around children, but would not do well with them since I am so shy and afraid to be picked up. I might be happiest in a quiet home with an older adult (probably a man) who would love to spoil me and give me a nice comfy lap to sleep on.I will need a special family who is patient with me while I get used to new surroundings. I’m not too adventurous when it comes to new things. But if you give me time I just might be your new lap cat!My adoption fee is $75.00 and includes all testing, spaying, microchipping. I am also up-to-date on shots. If you’d like to meet me, please contact my foster Mom. I don’t go to adoption events because I get too scared there, so we would need to make other arrangements to get acquainted. I’ll be ready when you are!DeniseFoster Mom314.322.5607 - celljdbaisch@att.netWe only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. I have a best friend Stublet. Maybe you would consider adopting us both!Dustin is big cat. He is very active and loves to run up and down the stairs and play with balls. He's not so much of a lover but more of a manly- like cat. He does like sitting on laps. If you want him to want him to go somewhere all you need to do is to put dry food in a bowl and shake it and he will follow you anywhere. He gets along with other cats and dogs. Please contact my foster mom Kate at 314-550-5523We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area.
