Aspen came to us as a kitten along with her four siblings. They were a wild bunch and quite feisty at first! While the rest of the family tamed down and headed back to the shelter for adoption, Aspen never learned to trust us entirely. She will curl up next to us on the desk while we work and supervise anyone cooking in the kitchen. Shee enjoys chasing after toys for you but he would prefer to not be touched. Shee just wants to be your shadow, although sometimes we wake up to find her snuggled up against our legs. She adores all other cats and tolerates the dog. ??

There are two kittens. They are brothers who were born on 5/3/24. There names are Midnight and Phantom. They are a bonded pair. They are so sweet, and very friendly. My daughter brought there mother, who was a stray, home when she was in labor. She had 5 kittens. One passed away and I found homes for two of them. The people who said they wanted these two backed out. The reason I need to find them a new home is both my children are disabled and we live in a small house and already have a cat and 2 dogs. I love them, but they deserve better than what I can give them.

Meet Emma Pearl! Emma is about 1 year old and was found starving and abused in a busy restaurant parking lot. There was a group of young teens that were kicking her around trying to get her to leave the premises. The restaurant owner said that she had been there for a couple of weeks begging and searching for food. A good Samaritan took her in because she couldn't let her continue to be abused. The kitty was nervous at first but quickly warmed up.Emma has a strong personality. She is very playful and affectionate. She is constantly poking at the other cats (she has 3 older cats in her foster home) even if she knows she's going to receive a grumpy reaction back. She is curious, a little feisty, and playful. She wants to be with nonstop company. It's almost like she has magical powers. Even if she's nowhere in sight, she can be at any place by your side within seconds. She wants to be with you so much so, that when she sees us leaving the house, she runs to the car and tries to get in with us! She is full of love and craves affection and attention. Because of her life on the streets, she can be found searching for food often. Do not, we repeat, do not leave food unattended. She will help herself. From her abuse, she is also dealing with trust issues on occasion. She can be snappy if she is petted in the wrong spot, so please be patient with her. To everyone’s surprise, Ms Pearl was pregnan! She was so thin at the time, no one could tell. She had her kittens within 4 weeks of her rescue. She delivered the kittens like a champ and was a great momma to her babies. Meet Leo! Leo is a 7.5 year old white short haired cat. He is a big boy, but does not over eat. He is shy, but curious and usually stays a good distance away from any commotion. He is happy to please as long as he has a comfy place to lay and fresh water. He loves treats. He tolerates children and will usually remove himself from them. He does get scared easily. Leo had a teeth cleaning in October 2020. Unfortunately, his vet closed about six months ago and we do not get have those records He is allergic to Revolution Plus, but the regular Revolution is fine for him. Stressed? Same here, I'm at my foster's house right now, trying to decide whether I want to nap on my little cat couch or my foster mom's bed. It's a tough life, but I'm even tougher! I was living outside before Franklin County Humane Society found me and got me here! I tested positive for FeLV and FIV, but that hasn't slowed me down one bit! I'm very friendly with my people, and love to snuggle with her at bedtime. I spend most of the day lounging on my kitty couch, patiently waiting for some pets. Squee has always been a very rambunctious kitty. When I first saw him born, I named him Squee because he was the loudest of the bunch. He’s a very playful and energetic cat who loves playing with kids and people and enjoys the occasional snuggle. We have a 5 years old boy that he loves to play with and be silly with. He’s definitely more of an only cat though. Not too sure how he is around dogs since he hasn’t been around many of them. Really wanting to find a loving family who can take good care of him as much as I did.

Mama Mo is a sweet cat- she has lived a tough life outdoors after her owners moved away. She was a good mama to her kittens (all adopted and loving their new homes)! She is learning to trust people again- and can sometimes be a little spicy if you pet her past her allotted timespan (which only she is privy to).  She had a brief stint at Whisker Station, but that wasn't her jam- she was not at all aggressive with the other cats but prefers a quieter more laid back vibe. So now she is back with us in her favorite chair! She deserves the absolute best- a family (without young kids) that really understands and appreciates cat behavior as she does have a few quirks! I think she would be fine with non-aggressive dogs or cats. She is pretty much ignores the other animals in our home- a dog and 3 other cats.  Mo loves to be brushed and pet, but does not enjoy if you put your face close to her. Shorthaired older man who needs a person to love. Buster is looking for someone he can take care of and show his appreciation. Buster is an active boy for his age and loves to play. He get's along with other kitties if they are not overly aggressive and calm dogs. Buster has thyroid issues and is on meds twice daily.
