Gretchen and Regina are very playful and affectionate kittens! Either they'll take turns sitting on my lap to get pets, or they'll squeeze on at the same time! They love running around or playing with toys together and like to cuddle as they nap. Since they've always lived together, it'll be best for them to stay together in their new home. They have lived with other cats and done well with slow introductions. They have lived with young children, but it was noted they would play a little rough sometimes. While I haven't had problems with them scratching/biting too hard, frequent nail trims and appropriate scratching facilities are important for any cat. They're very good at letting their nails be trimmed! It was also noted that they were having litter box issues in their previous home, urinating outside of the litter box frequently. They were treated for bladder inflammation/infections and ever since I brought them home, I've had them mainly closed in our bathroom and they use the litter box every time, even with rugs/blankets in the room. It'll be important for them to start in a bathroom/ small room so that they can get used to their new environment and litter box situation before giving them full access to the rest of their new home, slowly getting them used to where they're supposed to relieve themselves. Give these sweet girls a permanent home!

Hello, I'm Caraway! I'm part of the Pumpkin Spice crew. My siblings and I came from a hoarding situation where there were at least 13 cats with just one person-- so we're still catching up on our socialization to people. I'm looking for a patient and understanding home where I'll be given the proper support while I adjust to all of the new. I would appreciate a home with one of my siblings, or a cool and confident cat that can show me the ropes after I've settled in a bit. I love tube treats, every type of toy under the sun, and cozy blankets. I've been starting to allow some pets, but I am still pretty stressed in the shelter environment-- I'd love someplace quiet to decompress and finally come out of my shell. Piper showed up at my house a few months ago as a small kitten. She got the name Piper because we had to rescue her from a drain pipe. She is very sweet and purrs all the time. Piper wants so much to be an indoor cat but I am highly allergic so cannot keep her. She loves my 10 pound Aussie dog and if friendly with any human she encounters. Piper needs to be a full-time indoor cat who will be well cared for and loved. She will return the love many times over. I require that she be neutered so I'm willing to reimburse for neutering fee. Penny wandered into our yard one day following the smell of our grill. She was dirty, covered in bugs and extremely emaciated. She had an old flea collar on, so we assumed she belonged to someone. We fed her. She kept coming back. We live where there are coyotes and got concerned about her being left outside. I treated the bugs and eventually let her into our basement. I took her to the vet. We paid for her shots and for her to be fixed, totaling over $200. We would love to be able to keep her. She is so friendly and has never scratched anyone once! We have two other cats who have been very territorial ever since we brought her in the basement. She is great with young children. She gets along with dogs of all sizes. our cats don’t particularly like her, but she is not bothered by them. We want to find a forever home for her.
