Mouse is a 1 year old Male cat. He is fixed. He is energetic, loving, and enjoys playing both inside and outside (is up to date on all treatments) along with in water! He loves to jump and climb and prefers to be the only pet. He is skittish around dogs and can be a little playful at time, but he is very affectionate and loves human attention. Mouse is being rehomed immediately due to a new baby in the home and because he deserves a more stable living situation. He needs a permanent home, preferable without other pets. Unsure how he is with children he usually runs and hides from them. He is skittish around strangers but warms up within minutes and is very loving and talkative.

Hello, my name is Cheesecake. I showed up one day and decided to move in and stay a bit. I have had two rounds of over the counter shots from Tractor Supply, but I'm still needing my rabies vaccine, ouch! Please don't say that loud enough for me to hear. I am a very loving kitty cat that likes dogs, kids, and other cats. I have a very laid back personality and love sleeping in a box/basket with a fleece blanket. Please consider adopting me. I put a $40 adoption fee on Cheese Cake hoping that only very interested individuals would adopt her. With that said, her adoption fee could be zeroed out for a loving and caring individual.

Hello, I'm Bastet! I came to CMHS recently after my family fell on hard times, and they wanted to make sure I was well taken care of. In my last home I lived with older children and another cat (Serket), and would likely adjust to others in a future home. I've been pretty stressed at the shelter, so I haven't been able to show off much of my personality. I can be a little more wary of new people and places, but once I settle in, my previous family said I was a good boy. I think I would like a nice quiet place to call home, with plenty of hiding places and cat trees to climb.

Ella was hiding in her carrier for 1 day but was very friendly after she realized she was safe in a less stressful setting: her appetite picked up and she was willing to play with string toys ( which needs to be kept in balance as she is a little chonky right now. ) She loves to be petted and is ok with being brushed . Hello, I'm Caraway! I'm part of the Pumpkin Spice crew. My siblings and I came from a hoarding situation where there were at least 13 cats with just one person-- so we're still catching up on our socialization to people. I'm looking for a patient and understanding home where I'll be given the proper support while I adjust to all of the new. I would appreciate a home with one of my siblings, or a cool and confident cat that can show me the ropes after I've settled in a bit. I love tube treats, every type of toy under the sun, and cozy blankets. I've been starting to allow some pets, but I am still pretty stressed in the shelter environment-- I'd love someplace quiet to decompress and finally come out of my shell. My foster says :Caraway is a very vocal girl and loves to follow you around the house to be involved in everything. She likes to sit in the bathtub and roll around on recliners. Her favorite toys are toy wands, as she loves to pounce and jump."

Despite getting dermatitis on the streets, she's recovered well and is so soft. Rhiannon is perfect for someone looking for a shadow with a resilient and loving nature. She doesn't like the resident cats at her foster home but does fine with respectful dogs and would do fine with children. ______________________________________ At some point I will need a dental with your veterinarian! This animal has been treated for a skin infection while in shelter care. If this is not fully resolved at the time of adoption, it may require follow up diagnostics and treatment with adopter's veterinarian. Additionally, if underlying environmental or food allergies are contributing to the current skin condition, these may require ongoing management with adopter's veterinarian.
