Story
MARBLE / 11.5 YEARS / DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR CAT Marble came to Grey Face due to her former owner passing away. She loves her naps, laying on the floor and getting the occasional catnip treat. Marble also likes to be brushed and snuggle by your side. She would love multiple scratching posts and maybe some indoor grass, as she did go outside occasionally with her prior owner and loved the grass. Marble was overweight when she first came to Grey Face, but has successfully lost her excess weight with the help of her dedicated foster. She's ideally looking for someone that can continue to pay attention to her diet and portion feed her on a regular schedule. Dogs: No - Marble is very afraid of dogs! Cats: Yes - but is a bit more on the dominant side Kids: Yes, older children Health Concerns: None If you're interested in adopting Marble, please fill out an adoption application here: https://www.greyfacerescue.org/cat-adoption-application November 4, 2024, 7:47 pm

Story
RALPHY / 12.5 YEARS / DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR CAT Ralphy and his brother (Max) are two big buddies who have spent their whole lives attached at the hip. They are a strongly bonded pair who enjoy long days in each other’s company and quiet afternoons snuggling in the sunshine. Ralphy and Max are easily stressed by young, energetic, children so they’re hoping to find a quiet new home so they can keep their “snooze game” going strong. Ralphy and Max have been pretty shaken up with their recent changes in life so are hoping to find a quiet home where they can slowly decompress at their own speed. Dogs: Unknown Cats: Ralphy and Max have been best friends since birth. They may also enjoy the company of other calm, older cats like them. Kids: No – Older, respectful children only. Ralphy and Max were very stressed by the young children in their former family, so their new home would ideally not have children under 10 years of age. Health Concerns: Ralphy is a tad too chonky for his own good at 20 lbs, so Ralphy should be fed portioned meals and engage in a light  exercise plan to help encourage safe weight loss. If you're interested in adopting Ralphy and Max, please fill out an adoption application here:     http://www.greyfacerescue.org/cat-adoption-application November 6, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Very affectionate cat. Good with other dogs and kids. We just don't have the time to give him the attention he deserves. The cost of adoption includes a Pull N Scoop litter box with liners and waste receptacle, auto timed feeder and fountain water dispenser, and cat tree. I also have nail clippers for him as well.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Looking for a truly special companion? If you have a soft spot for the ‘undercat’ and love being a caretaker, then keep reading—you might just be the perfect match for me! Hi, I’m Grizzly. I started life as a happy-go-lucky kitten in a loving home until life took an unexpected turn, leaving me a bit lost after my family separated. Through all the changes, I’ve kept my sweet spirit, and I’m on a journey to find a patient, loving person to call my own. I’m currently on a weight-loss plan and already down to 17 pounds! My mobility is improving by the day, although I still prefer low-sided litter boxes. I'm even active enough to play chase with the other cat in the home! I do have some challenges: I’m incontinent with my bowel movements, but I use the litter box for urine and go on a tarp next to the litter box nearly every time, making it easy to manage. If you’re willing to see past my quirks, you’ll find I’m an affectionate, laid-back guy who adores tummy rubs, chin scratches, and brushing sessions. I’m also a pro at nail trims! If you’ve got room in your heart for a gentle, couch-loving buddy, I’d love to be your new best friend. Grizzly is from an owner surrender. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *Bonded with Cheech*Chong is a friendly, playful fellow. He loves rubbing up against our legs and getting petted. Chong likes hanging out in whatever area we’re in. He enjoys toys and playing with his brother, Cheech, too. We feel he would do best being adopted with his brother.   They are SO cute when they snuggle together in the chair. These boys would do best by being adopted together.   They both love to gaze out the window at the world-click here to see. They love to also cuddle at my feet if it's chilly. They both love toys! They like balls, faux fish and mice, and love scratching posts. They love a good box!   Chong is from an owner surrender.
