Story
MARBLE / 11.5 YEARS / DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR CAT Marble came to Grey Face due to her former owner passing away. She loves her naps, laying on the floor and getting the occasional catnip treat. Marble also likes to be brushed and snuggle by your side. She would love multiple scratching posts and maybe some indoor grass, as she did go outside occasionally with her prior owner and loved the grass. Marble was overweight when she first came to Grey Face, but has successfully lost her excess weight with the help of her dedicated foster. She's ideally looking for someone that can continue to pay attention to her diet and portion feed her on a regular schedule. Dogs: No - Marble is very afraid of dogs! Cats: Yes - but is a bit more on the dominant side Kids: Yes, older children Health Concerns: None If you're interested in adopting Marble, please fill out an adoption application here: https://www.greyfacerescue.org/cat-adoption-application January 3, 2025, 4:16 pm

Story
Tom and Jerry ((named by my grandchildren) came to me after my husband died four years ago. I lived on ten acres of woods, lots of mice and good hunting:). I desperately needed company and help with critter control. They came as young cats and quickly had the situation under great control. Although I had to keep them outside due to my allergies, they filled my heart with joy watching them play together, sleep together and hang out together. They are brothers who love each other for sure! When I had to move into town, the farmer I got them from offered to take them back. Unfortunately that isn’t working out as they prefer more human contact. They’re searching neighbors homes, sitting on porches and wind sills just wanting some attention. They’d do great as indoor cats or combo of inside/outside They love, love people of all ages. Uncertain about other cats and dogs as they haven’t been around them. Please help me find them a new home! Grandkids & I want them loved on🥰

Story
Ray is about a year and 4 months old. He was a stray adopted from the Humane Society. He has been neutered and gets along well with my other cat. He is an orange cat. He is extremely playful and very affectionate. He can be very timid at first but will warm up after a while. We haven't been around kids or dogs much. He loves high places but will not remember how he got up there and flail his way down. He has a race car mode, and good luck catching him while he's in that stage. His nails are trimmed regularly at home and doesn't mind it. He has gotten bathed a couple times but he's never gotten professionally groomed. He is harness trained and loves to wear cozy jackets. He has a couple beds he really likes that will also go with him along with his few jackets that he likes to wear.

Story
Luna is the sweetest cat who loves to cuddle, and be very close to you! She is a very good girl.. and very well behaved. She is definitely a plus sized cat.. she weighs roughly 20 pounds. I've had her on a special diet for the past couple years of a Royal Canin Weight Care food, although it hasn't seemed to help her lose any weight, unfortunately. She is approximately 6 years old! I'm getting married soon, and my fiancé is severely allergic to cats, so I can't keep her.. and I want to find the right person for her! The only thing about her size is, that the vet says she can't reach her rear end to "groom" herself .. so I do use an unscented baby wipe or pet grooming wipe on her every couple days, and she actually loves it! She doesn't like to play with toys much, except a red light or shadows she sees on the wall! She's all heart ❤️ but she does love to be brushed and cared for!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I'm Duchess! I'm a smart and resourceful kitty who's settling into the indoor life beautifully. I love having a cozy spot to call my own, tasty food to enjoy, and a warm bed to snuggle in. My favorite time of day is when my foster mom sits on the floor to pet me—I’ll even rub against her leg to ask for more attention! I’m a fan of scratching posts and always use my litterbox like the well-mannered lady I am. While I’m still learning to trust new people and can be a little shy at first, I’m sure to blossom with patience and a calm environment. I’m not a big fan of being picked up, but maybe that will change over time as I continue to build my confidence. I’d love to have another cat friend in my forever home—they help me feel more secure and show me the ropes. I haven’t met kids yet, so I’d probably do best in a quieter home where I can adjust at my own pace. If you think we’d be a good match, I’d love to meet you! Fill out an application, and let’s see if I could be your perfect companion. Duchess is from local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
