Story
Jaden is an adorable white cat with gray patches and golden eyes. He is very playful, chatty, and active, without the crazy kitten climb-the-curtains behavior. Jaden is a very gentle kitty who rarely bites or uses his claws. It took some time for Jaden to adjust to his foster home, and he now enjoys being petted, brushed, cuddled, held, and carried for short periods. He sleeps on the bed and follows his fosters from room to room. Jaden is usually never more than a foot or two away from his people unless there is company. If there are new people in the house, he watches from under a piece of furniture until he is confident the visitor is safe. He has gotten used to a resident cat and a small dog at his foster home. Jaden needs to be in a home with another young, playful kitty, as he loves to play every day. Jaden would do best with an adopter willing to allow him the time they will need to adjust to a new home and new people. Jaden does require prescription medication long term. Jaden is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Hi! My name is Sagey and I am a self-described queen. All of the humans in my life would agree. I love attention and will reward you with a snuggle and a purr. I absolutely love to play. A long wire toy is my favorite toy. But, I really like anything that moves. Catnip makes me particularly happy and I love to scratch on my scratching board. I love to sit in front of big windows. I can’t get enough of looking outside. I also am so silly - I love sinks and water! Since I am a queen I prefer to be the only cat. If I could join a home where someone is home a lot I would be sooo happy. I promise you I will snuggle with you at night, be your favorite lap cat and do cute things. I would love to join your family! I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
Hi, my name is Bernie. I also respond to Barney. I'm an all black, neutered adult male. I'm comfortable with spending my day just relaxing with the occasional break to play or visit my scratching post. I don't mind dogs as long as we give each other some space. I don't have any experience with other cats or kids and I've totally ignored other visiting adults, so far. My favorite pass time is chilling. Yet, if it's feeding time I'm wide awake, alert and totally underfoot. If I think you're late, I will "voice" my concerns until the situation is rectified. That goes for treat time as well. I also get underfoot, literally, as I absolutely LOVE fresh, cold water. As for the dog, we sleep at opposite ends of the sofa and at night I sleep at the foot while he gets the spot mid-mattress. However, we are comfortable side-bye-side on our human's lap. I don't have any problem with being picked up and I'll jump up in your lap if I feel a need. Lastly, I'm a very good mouser (pic). That is until the hole in the wall was sealed off. Oh, by the way, I don't do counters at all. I'm very comfortable in my foster home but I'd really like a permanent one. I'm sure I would adapt to any situation or combination of factors. I'm friendly, personable but not demanding other than when I'm hungry. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Eligible bachelor seeking cozy lap and endless snuggles! Hi, I'm Floki! I've been told I'm quite the charmer, and I have to agree. I started my journey on the streets of Minneapolis, living life on my own terms. It was exciting, but once some kind-hearted folks brought me indoors, I quickly discovered how amazing being a house cat truly is. Now, I'm all about snuggling under blankets with my humans and soaking up belly rubs. I'm a laid-back guy who loves naps and tasty treats. While I have a playful side, especially when it comes to catnip toys and feather wands, I'm mostly about that chill life. I'd love to be the center of attention as your one and only pet, but I've lived with other cats before and could adjust to a friend with proper introductions. As for dogs-they seem to like me more than I like them, but I'm cool as long as they give me my space. I do have a chronic allergy, but it's easily controlled with medication and a special diet to prevent my skin from becoming itchy. If you're looking for a chill companion-someone to kick back and cuddle with after a hard day's work-I'm definitely the cat for you! Floki is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Story
Rosie is almost a year old. She’s quite shy always around us and so well behaved. She would do better in a home without small children and would be a great addition to any household. She’s a skilled mouser, keeps things tidy, quiet, small frame and has a slim/long body. She gets along great with our other cats and our lab. A close friend adopted her but had to move in a hurry so we temporarily took her in but after ending a 25 yr job and being a single mom we need to find her a forever home.

Story
MALCOLM and MARNIE are approx. 4 years old. They are both cute brown and white tabbies. They enjoy the routine in their foster home and their individual personalities have blossomed. They love being together and Marnie feels braver with Malcolm nearby. Malcolm has short hair and loves playing with his two rope toys in particular, pushing them under a door and then trying to scoop them back inside. When called, he stops whatever he’s doing to enthusiastically run over for affection. Malcolm is so excited to get neck rubs and back scratches that he happily purrs and bonks his head into anything and everything nearby - furniture, his foster’s legs, his food dish, or whatever else happens to be close! He gives gentle love bites to his foster’s ankles and toes to ask for attention. He will sit on his foster's lap when she is relaxing. Marnie has lovely thick, medium hair and had become more at ease. She is very curious and likes to check out what her people are doing and wants to be in the same room as they are. She loves treats and eats out of her foster’s hand and has learned that being petting is great - just don't move too fast or she will run. Marnie enjoys playing with any kind of interactive feather toy on a string. When she is feeling especially shy, she tucks herself underneath her kitty bed and moves around the room with it on top of her. She loves sitting at the top of her cat tree by the window and watching the activity in the yard. If you are a special person who has a lot of patience and who can give Malcolm and Marnie a quiet home and consistent routine, they will give you so much in return (they do well when they know what to expect). They would do best in a home without other animals or children and in a home where their people don't plan on moving. Malcolm and Marnie are neutered/spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Their adoption fee is $320 for the adorable pair. Call 651-771-5662 if you are the special person for these two sweet cats.

Story
RILEY is a stunning girl who is approx. 2.5 years old. She is a beautiful brown and black tiger with emerald green eyes and is very sweet and gentle. Riley is happy to be safely indoors; it took her some time to feel brave and trust her fosters but she has blossomed into a wonderful cat. She loves to play with her toys – the ball in the ring that goes around, mice, balls, anything! She will happily come to you if you have a treat for her. When she hears the treat bag, she immediately stretches, then rubs against you or comes to you to get her treats. She sleeps on the bed at night but isn’t a big cuddler yet (that may come with time). Riley loves the other cats in the foster home and will take naps with one of them and hang out in the sunshine with them. She likes to be petted and purrs happily; although she gets scared if a hand surprises her in her face – she likes slow movements and gentle voices (she hasn't been around men). Riley is a sweet and beautiful cat who wants to be loved. She needs a quiet home without dogs or children and a patient, kind adopter who will help her slowly adjust to her new home - just as she has nicely adjusted to her foster home. She would also like a friendly cat or two in her forever home. A home rather than an apartment is preferred so she doesn't have to move and move. Riley is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $175. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about sweet, gentle Riley.

Story
LEALAH is a beautiful 1.5 year old medium hair, white and black cat with adorable markings. She takes a little while to warm up and feel brave in her safe room but once she adjusts, she is a sweet and fun girl. Lealah plays with enthusiasm and really likes playing with interactive toys with her foster mom and dad. She is a good conversationalist and will talk to you about her day. Lealah enjoys being gently petted but does not like to be picked up (many cats do not like that). She has lots of energy and loves to show her silly side, chasing around her favorite little fabric ball and rolling around. She loves companionship and is very inquisitive, wanting to be a part of any activity that is happening in the home. Once Lealah is tuckered out from playing, she likes to sit or lay by her foster and loves head scratches. She really loves using (and laying on) the cardboard scratchers on the floor. Lealah is a "bookish" cat, enjoying naps in the empty spaces of her foster's built-in bookshelves. She also enjoys sitting and napping by the window and soaking up the sunshine and watching the activity. Lealah was previously in a home with cats but we don’t know if she liked that situation or not. She has not been around cats in her foster home. She has never been around dogs so a home without dogs is required. Since Lealah is shy at first, a home without children is her preference. Her adopter should be a patient person who will help Lealah adjust to her new home. Lealah is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about beautiful Lealah.

Story
Oliver and Daisy are cute-as-can-be kittens who are approx. 7-8 months old. They are very cuddly, friendly, playful and social kittens with their own cute personalities. They must be adopted together. Daisy is a female brown and black tiger who has beautiful markings with hues of gold. She is rather inquisitive and loves being near people, climbing her cat tower and wrestling with her chirping bird toy. She likes hanging out with her brother, Oliver, too. Oliver is a male white, brown and gold tabby with very soft fur. He, of course, is bigger than his sister and is a loving big brother who likes playing with Daisy. He carries his toy spring in his mouth and has a loud happy purr when getting attention from his fosters. They both like to sit on laps when they are done playing, and use their carpeted scratching post and cardboard scratcher. Oliver and Daisy love watching the squirrels and birds out the windows and will make a wonderful addition to a lucky person or family. They have not been around children or dogs in our program. They would not be a good match for an adult cat as they are very active. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give them their forever home. Daisy and Oliver are spayed/neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, and have had all three of their kitten distemper vaccinations. Their adoption fee is $350 for the pair. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about these playful, cuddly kittens.

Story
Miles, Rudy and Oscar are adorable 8 month old boys looking for their forever homes. These cuties are all friendly and social and love people. MILES – he is a buff color boy and also a little shy. He warms up quickly and once he feels comfortable, he is a lovebug. He is such a cute kitten with very soft fur. He likes chasing his toy mice and balls. RUDY – he is an orange tiger and a social kitten who runs and plays with everything. When he wants attention, he will jump up on you. Rudy loves to play with anything that wiggles. He and Oscar would be a good match. OSCAR – he is an orange boy and also social and very playful. He is the most curious one and wants to be involved in what you are doing. He loves chasing all toys. Oscar and Rudy would be a good pair. They all use their carpeted scratching tree and the cardboard floor scratcher, and love watching the birds and squirrels out the windows. We would like them adopted in pairs because they like having a friend of their own energy level to play with (or with another friendly young cat). They are too active to be adopted into a home with an adult cat. They have not been around dogs in the program. They enjoy hanging out with the foster's grandchildren when they visit so older kids would be fine (8+ years). Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give them their forever home. Miles, Rudy and Oscar are neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Their adoption fee is $350 for a pair or $175 each.
