Story
Meet Talulah! I started off being a really scared kitten all alone on the island of Anguilla in the Caribbean. Then, I was a little shy when I was at the shelter and no one wanted me, so they were going to put me to sleep. Luckily, a good Samaritan decided to give me a second chance to live the life that I deserve! In my foster home, I quickly started to trust humans. Playing is my FAVORITE! I love strings, catnip mice, wrestling and playing chase with my foster sister, Ruby. I love to purr loudly when my foster mom cuddles me, and also love to take naps with her! I even help her study sometimes. Since I’m a tortie, I have a reputation for having a ‘tude. It’s the most fun-loving and cuddly attitude around! *We would prefer Talulah is adopted with her sister Ruby* More information and photos added over time. Adoption application: https://forms.gle/cKD19YHqxKpvT1VQ6 *We only adopt and foster our animals within a 60 mile radius from New Brighton, MN* All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment. You can contact us through our website at http://legendsrescue.org/index.php/contact/ or visit our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LegendsRescue/ if you have further questions or would like to schedule a meet and greet. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application at http://legendsrescue.org/index.php/adopt/forms/ FOSTER CARE: Our rescues are fostered in individual homes or at our facility. We work hard to ensure that our rescues have a supportive family while at foster homes to help them move forward and get ready for their forever home. We work on training, crate-training and socialization before a dog is adopted out. Foster homes are extremely important to the success of the cat at their forever home, and it is extremely rewarding to be able to watch the animals journey to their forever home.

Story
Meet Castor! Castor is an approximately 1.5-year-old male cat who's playful, social, and enjoys daily interactive playtime. This handsome boy loves being around people and lets you know when he’s ready for affection—though it’s always on his terms. Castor is best suited for a home with older children who can respect his boundaries. While he enjoys being close by, Castor is not a lap cat and doesn’t like to be held. He might hop up next to you like he’s considering it but usually decides to stand or sit nearby instead. He’s happy to share a bed, but don’t expect cuddles—he values his personal space. Castor is a smart and communicative kitty, often “talking” when he needs something like food or sees something interesting (like a mouse!). He’s very clean, with excellent litter box habits and minimal trouble-making tendencies. Castor isn’t a plant chewer and hasn’t knocked things over. We’re unsure how he feels about other animals, but with a bit of patience and a slow introduction, he could adapt well. Castor would love a home where he can get the playtime and attention he craves, while also having the freedom to take his own space when he needs it. If you're looking for a fun, independent, and curious companion, Castor might be the perfect fit for you! More information and photos added over time. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Little Girl & Spot are local owner surrenders due to the owners passing and family is unable to continue care long term for them. Little Girl would do well with 'sister' Spot in a new home but it's not required. She is shy but friendly with people once she’s familiar with them. She will likely hide for a while in the beginning as she adjusts, she is a master at that game, however she does have favorite hiding spots under cabinets at her home. She ignores dogs and gets along with other cats with proper slow introductions, she itegrated with both an older and younger cat in her home.  She is friendly with the seven year old grandkids, unknown about any younger in age.  If they sound like the purfect addition to your home please apply online https://mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 4, 2025, 7:48 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $150 plus taxHi there, it’s little ol’ me, Miley! I’m a sweet and lovely girl that loves a calm environment. I love to find a comfy spot to curl up and take a nap, whether it’s a lap or a blanket, I’m there. I’m small and dainty with an adorable personality. You will love my little paws, my purrs and my beautiful coloring. Unfortunately I had to loose all my teeth to bad genetics, so I always have my tongue sticking out, I like to think it makes me a little unique. I prefer wet food as I can’t crunch the hard food. Im may seem like a lot but I’m just a simple girl looking for the perfect family. Miley has been diagnosed as having persistent herpesvirus which is potentially contagious to other kitties, it is part of the RCP vaccine so as long as your other pets are kept current on vaccines it is a low risk of spreading then.    Most infected cats will have occasional flare ups such as at times of stress but typically it is pretty self limiting and remains mostly asymptomatic.  We would not recommend that Miley go to home where there are immunocompromised cats or young kittens that are not fully vaccinated   Miley's signs so far have been some eye drainage and squinting that haven't seemed to bother her. There are supplements and anti-virals that can be tried in the future to see if that helps decrease the draining. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!
