She was quite shy and nervous with people when she first arrived.Fast forward to October and Patty has warmed up quite a bit to humans.She excitedly awaits the morning volunteers to come into her colony and give her treats. She lets you pet her a bit, it feels so good.Patty is active, shy, and friendly. She'll like an understanding and patient person to love her. Patty loves kitty toys and playing with her siblings. She'll do best living with other kitties. If you adopt her and someone else, there is a reduced adoption fee.Patty is sweet. She needs a home soon, as she's been at the shelter for a while now.Patty is spayed and vaccinated. Meet Matisse!If photos don't show, please visit https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/68850-watonwan-county-humane-society-st-james-minnesotaMatisse and several other kittens were brought to the shelter in July.She was frightened of people when she first arrived.Fast forward to October and she is much more trusting of people and the volunteers that interact with her on a daily basis.Matisse is so beautiful and cute. She is coming out of her shell more and more.If she's eating her yummy wet food and you slowly reach to pet her, she will let you. She thinks it feels very good and is becoming more trusting.Matisse needs a very patient and understanding person. She can either be a housecat, perhaps quite "hands off" for a bit. Or she can be a barn kitty, with shelter and love.Matisse would like to be with other kitties. It would be even better if one or some of her siblings can stay with her.Matisse is quiet, shy, but gets silly and playful with her kitty friends and with toys. Just remember, you don't need to touch or hold a kitty to love her. She's still coming out of her shell with humans. She likes to be pet, once she knows and trusts you. She'd love to go home soon. Once home, she should become more comfortable with you and trusting. She'll bloom into a friendly, loving girl.***************Crow and several other kittens were brought to the shelter. Crow is shy, but with love and patience she will continue to come out of her shell.Crow is currently housed at the shelter with her sister Silver. They are best friends and have a blast playing with each other and with toys. If you adopt them both there is a reduced adoption fee.Crow is spayed and vaccinated. She still loves cuddling and playing with her sister, Crow. Silver is active and outgoing. She LOVES to talk with you and rub on your legs. She doesn't love to be picked up, but she likes to be pet. She'd love to go home soon.**************Silver and several other kittens were rescued from the outdoors.Silver has really come out of her shell at the shelter. She is still a tad bit shy, but she perks up when visitors come to say hello. She sits at her colony door, waiting for you to give her love and attention.Silver LoVEs playing and cuddling with her sister, Crow. They are best friends and would love to go home together. Meet Jamie!If photos don't show, please visit https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/68850-watonwan-county-humane-society-st-james-minnesotaJamie and several other kittens were brought to the shelter in July.Jamie was frightened of people and needed time to learn he can trust us.As of October, Jamie is still leery of humans, but he is right by his door whenever volunteers come into the building. He is curious about people and knows they will give him yummy treats.Jamie will interact with you if you have a toy he likes. Usually a feather will get him to play with you.Jamie is warming up more and more to people. In time, he will be a trusting companion.Jamie would like to be in a home with other kitties (better yet, with one or more of his siblings). He could be a good farm kitty, with shelter and love. He will do best with someone who is patient and understanding of him. A cat-savvy person will be ideal.Jamie loves kitty toys. They give him joy and help him exercise.As of October, Jamie is about 6 months old. He really loves visitors and exploring the shelter when he gets a chance. He brightens up when volunteers come into his colony. He is so friendly sweet. And beautiful!! Snickers is such a great kitty and has been waiting a long time. Please consider taking him home.**************Snickers and several other kittens were rescued from the outdoors.Snickers is shy around people , but is really coming out of his shell.He gets excited when volunteers walk into the building to do chores in the morning. He sits at his colony door and waits for us to walk in and talk to him and give him pets.He's such a handsome little tabby boy and is becoming a sweetheart.
