I’m a sweet and lovely girl that loves a calm environment. I love to find a comfy spot to curl up and take a nap, whether it’s a lap or a blanket, I’m there. I’m small and dainty with an adorable personality. You will love my little paws, my purrs and my beautiful coloring. Unfortunately I had to loose all my teeth to bad genetics, so I always have my tongue sticking out, I like to think it makes me a little unique. I prefer wet food as I can’t crunch the hard food. Miley has been diagnosed as having persistent herpesvirus which is potentially contagious to other kitties, it is part of the RCP vaccine so as long as your other pets are kept current on vaccines it is a low risk of spreading then.    Most infected cats will have occasional flare ups such as at times of stress but typically it is pretty self limiting and remains mostly asymptomatic.  We would not recommend that Miley go to home where there are immunocompromised cats or young kittens that are not fully vaccinated   Miley's signs so far have been some eye drainage and squinting that haven't seemed to bother her. There are supplements and anti-virals that can be tried in the future to see if that helps decrease the draining. I’m Valentine, a 10-year-old, resilient sweetheart of a kitty with a distinctive little “kiss” mark on my nose. I was surrendered to the rescue on Valentine’s Day, due to sad circumstances that were no fault of my own, leaving behind the only family and home I’d known since I was a kitten. Understandably, for a while, I was heartbroken, confused, and scared. But now, I’ve come out of my shell and am ready for a fresh start!   I’m a curious and friendly cat who loves to seek out attention by rubbing against your legs, meowing, or flopping around. I’ll communicate with you through little meows, chirps, and purrs. If I really want your attention, I’ll give your arm or leg a gentle “tap tap” with my paw as I look sweetly up at you. I like to lay in your lap, especially if you have a cozy blanket. I especially can’t get enough of scratches behind my ears and really lean into them, to the point where sometimes I nearly fall over. Naps on my cat tree or watching the birds are favorite pastimes, but I also enjoy chasing after my feather toys (I still have the playful spirit of a much younger kitty). Treats and soft food are the keys to my heart. My foster mom says I’m a very brave girl, because when I went for my routine vet visit, I wasn’t scared at all of getting in my carrier and visiting a new place.   I’ll be a great companion for someone seeking a laid-back, quiet, and affectionate friend. A quiet environment where I can feel safe and loved would be ideal for me in return. Meet Miss Flower! Flower is a very sweet and outgoing kitten! She loves to play and adventure but is very happy to curl up for cuddles and nap afterwards. Flower is loving her cat trees and running zoomies though the house. Flower is litter trained (but does need to start in a smaller area with her box while she learns the layout of her home so she knows where to find her box) and is good with cats and kids. Meet Mr. Cloud. This little gentleman is a sweet soul. He is playful and sweet but also seems to have great patience (unless food is involved). Cloud likes to watch his siblings cause chaos while he sits back in a kitty bed or by my side. Cloud loves pets and all people! He does great with other kitties and is used to dogs too! He is fully litter-trained and ready to find his forever home. Little Girl would do well with sister Spot or both sisters in a new home. She is shy but friendly with people once she’s familiar with them. Ignores dogs, gets along with other cats. Friendly with seven year old kids, unknown about younger.  They are all good with cat savvy dogs (lived with 2). She was able to integrate with other cats in the home, so with ample time she would be ok in a home with other cats as well. Little Lee.... She stood stoic in the middle of a busy road as a tiny little kitten in 2020! She was hoping her life would change. Rescued when she was just skin and bones, her foster mom took amazing care of her to help her gain weight. Due to the extreme overpopulation problem on the island, she's waited patiently for her day to come. She loves everyone and is as sweet and friendly as she looks. Loves to receive pets and be wherever you are. We would love to get Little Lee to MN very soon!

DiDi was rescued originally as a trap and release candidate, but during her recovery, she showed us such gentleness, sweetness and a deep gratitude for her second chance that we simply couldn't put her back on the streets. She was rescued from a metal recycling property where far too many litters lived, one of the lucky ones. She is around 1 year, 4 months old… She's a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. She gets along with other cats, but also loves being alone. Loves pets, but is not a supper cuddle cat.Sterilized, fully vetted and ready to find her forever home. Didi will be traveling off the island on the 6th to Minnesota in hopes of finding her forever home.

We adopted Mickey from a farm when he was a few months old. Birthday is May 5, 2022. He is neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, though he hasn’t had his 2024 checkup yet since he’s healthy and we haven’t felt the need for one. Due to worsening allergies in our home, our doctor has advised us to re-home him. Mickey is a sweet and playful boy who gets along with both cats and dogs, although he doesn’t mesh well with our older cat, who doesn’t enjoy his energetic play. Mickey enjoys roughhousing with the dog though, and they both love that. He enjoys his cat toys too. He can be startled by sudden noises and loves snuggling with you at night. Mickey enjoys his time in the outdoor catio, but would not do well being outside with no leash or catio. He is best suited as an indoor cat. We’re hoping to find a loving home that can offer him the care and attention he needs. He’ll come with a cat box, tower, some food and toys.
