Princess is an 11 year old cat looking for her castle! She takes a second to adjust to her new surroundings, but after a few days, she grows comfortable and comes out of her shell! Princess would do best in a quiet and routine home with a single room where she can acclimate. Princess has lived with other cats and may do fine with them, as long as they are non-confrontational (Princess was bullied by some cats and will need to be slowly introduced to gain their trust.) Princess previously feasted like the royalty she is and will need help with her diet and exercise to maintain her health and minimize any physical symptoms that may come with her weight. At night she happily claims the human bed as her own and prefers to sleep right next to you. Roxy can be sensitive to loud, unexpected noises like thunderstorms or fireworks. She may take some time and space to adjust in a new environment, but once settled, she bonds deeply and seeks out attention. She can get mouthy in a playful, overstimulated way, so she may do best in a home without young children. Her foster does not have other pets, so her compatibility with them is unknown. Cinder is about 8 years old and she is anxiously awaiting a new forever home where she can be loved the way that she deserves. She was recently rescued by a kind lady after learning that she had been kicked out of her home after a new girlfriend moved in and unfortunately in this instance “kicked out” is literally true because each time Cinder tried to go back to the only home she ever knew, her previous owner would kick her away from the door. She had been left outside to fend for herself and when she was rescued she was very malnourished and had lost a lot of weight. If she hadn’t been rescued when she was, it’s hard to tell how much longer she may have survived. She has now received a full checkup including blood work and will have a dental cleaning before going to a new home which is a great benefit to an adopter. Cinder enjoys sitting on her foster parents’ laps but she also likes to have some alone time. She enjoys attention and although she isn’t particularly playful currently, that may be because of the small space that she is currently staying in. She has a cat tree that she enjoys greatly and that will go with her to a new home. We don’t have a lot of history for Cinder so we can’t tell you how she is with children so a home with only adults and older children may be best. We believe that she lived with other cats previously but we don’t know what their interactions were. In her foster home, she currently isn’t a fan of the small dog in the home so perhaps a home without dogs may be preferred. Cinder is a social eater who enjoys having company when she eats. She also can be a little chatty when she has something to say. She can get overstimulated when she is being petted so she may nip (not bite) or swap to let you know that she has had enough. First adopted in 2017 when he was about 3-4 months old in South Carolina. Was always kind of a nervous boy about sounds and strangers. Loving, but from a distance. He doesn't cuddle, but he will sit next to you on the couch. As with all orange cats, he can be a bit spicy at times with his personality and demands to be the center of attention. He announces when he is coming in to the room and has a lot on his mind to say. (Usually). I unfortunately am seeking to re-home him because he is either unable or unwilling to get along with our second dog. He was good with the first senior dog, but can not deal with a young puppy.

Meet Mamas, a five-year-old black lady who is a little shy with new people and places. She spends much of her day hiding in her bed but will peek out to watch you and give a tiny meow. Once she feels comfortable, Mamas seems to enjoy most pets and will nudge her head into your hands for more attention. She has no history with other animals or children. Mamas is looking for a calm and patient home where she can feel safe and enjoy affection at her own pace.
