Story
Meet Milly! This sweet girl came into our care after she no longer could stay in the home she grew up in. Since arriving in her foster home, she has thrived into a confident kitty. She loves her toys, snuggles on comfy blankets, and charges around the house with her foster kitty brother! If you pick Milly up and place her on your shoulder, she will quickly settle down, showing off her loud purr. She will even sleep with you at night. Milly would like to go to a quieter home with older kids who understand that she likes to play and cuddle but also respect her boundaries. She would be a fantastic friend for anyone's kitty. However, she would be okay as an only cat, too. If you are looking for a calm, sweet kitty, apply to adopt Milly today! Milly is fully vetted & ready to go to her new home: -spayed -vaccinated -micro chipped -FELV/FIV negative -litter box trained -de-wormed

Story
Aleeza came into our care through no fault of her own, when her owner could no longer care for her. Aleeza is an easy-going girl that loves to be loved. She adapts well to almost any situation. She brings a gentle yet consistent kind of joy and companionship to all around her. Aleeza loves being pet & snuggling up with her humans and kitty friends alike. She loves to romp around and wrestle and play with her kitty foster siblings. She does well with her doggie foster brother - they may not play or snuggle but they co-exist very well. Aleeza also does very well with children! Aleeza would fit well into almost any household that will care for her & make sure her needs are met. We do think she would prefer a home with another kitty, as she is used to (and LOVES!) that type of companionship. If you are looking for a young, loving yet playful kitty - apply to adopt Aleeza today! Details: -about 6 mos old -spayed female -micro chipped -FELV/FIV negative -vaccinated -fecal tested -de wormed -litter trained -great with cats, dogs & kids -probably prefers a home with another kitty https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
Meet Lola 🖤 Lola is a stunning black, medium-haired beauty with the fluffiest coat and an absolutely irresistible face. Born in a loading dock in Romulus alongside her six siblings, Lola’s life changed just hours after birth when her devoted mom, Diana, and the entire little family were rescued and brought safely indoors. Since then, Lola has grown up surrounded by love and security, and it shows. She’s playful, a little silly, and incredibly affectionate — the kind of girl who brings both fun and warmth wherever she goes. Her fluffy looks may grab your attention first, but it’s her sweet, loving personality that truly steals hearts. Lola thrives with feline companionship and would love to be adopted with one of her siblings. If that’s not possible, a home with a young, friendly, playful cat is a must for her happiness and confidence. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, affectionate kitty with a playful spirit and a big heart, Lola is ready to be your new best friend. Lola is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Story
Meet Panda & Binx! Looking for double the love, double the cuddles, and double the charm? Say hello to Panda and Binx, a bonded sibling pair who are ready to bring joy (and a little chonk) into your life! At 6 years old, Panda (the handsome tuxedo gentleman) and Binx (the sleek panther princess) have mastered the art of cozy living. These two are professional lap cats, enthusiastic door greeters, and experts at snuggling—both with each other and their people. Treats are a big hit in this household, and their delightfully chonky figures prove they take snack time very seriously. Panda is the confident ambassador of the pair—friendly, outgoing, and always happy to check out new visitors first. Binx prefers a more cautious approach. She’ll send Panda ahead to investigate, and once she decides you pass the vibe check, she’ll happily join in for cuddles and claim a lap of her own. These siblings share a special bond and are looking for a forever home together, where they can continue their life of love, lounging, and treat appreciation side by side. If your home has room for two affectionate, adorable best friends, Panda and Binx are ready to move in and steal your heart Panda & Binx are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Story
Meet Peridea — affectionately known as “Mama.” This lovely tortie girl was rescued from a dusty garage in Detroit, already carrying her precious kittens. Just a week after coming into care, she gave birth and proved to be the most devoted mama. Peridea can be shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she melts for gentle neck scratches and will happily chat with you in her soft, sweet voice. She adores her kittens and gets along wonderfully with the resident cats in her foster home. While she tolerates dogs from a distance, she’d be happiest in a quieter home without dogs — but with feline friends to keep her company. Her ideal match? Another friendly cat, or even better, one of her babies — especially her daughter Mandalore, who takes after her mama’s gentle spirit. If you’re looking for a kind, loving companion with a heart as beautiful as her story, Peridea would love to find her forever home with you. Peridea is currently in a foster home.
