Story
Hi, my name is Vinnie! In November of 2023, I tried to break into the lobby of the Bavarian Inn Lodge! The COO of the Lodge, Jim Engel, is a founder of Pet Angel, so the employees of the Lodge took me to Jim’s office and I spent the day with him, and then he brought me to the rescue! Pet Angel went on a hunt to find my family, and found out that I’ve been a stray cat living on the streets of Frankenmuth most of my life! A family just south of Mobil in Frankenmuth was caring for me as their stray, but weren’t able to bring me inside and keep me, so I become a Pet Angel cat! Pet Angel got me fully vetted, and I’m finally ready to be a housecat! I heard being a house cat is way better than living on the streets, and I’m excited to find my very own (and first ever) home!I love to play! With toys, with people, with strings hanging off your hoodie, and with anyting I can turn into a toy! I love to wrestle with my human friends, and will play with you rough! I enjoy attention, love to rub up against your ankles, and enjoy rolling around on my favorite rug! I love ALL types of cat toys- jingle balls, and yeowww toys, and felt mice, and foil balls, springs and pom poms are some of my favorites! I get very excited when you bring the stick toy out to play with me, because I love to chase after it! I am a big fan of canned food, and love treats VERY much! I am an alpha cat, and like to be dominate, so sometimes I will reach out and grab my human friends when they walk by, so I hope to find humans who can put up with a saucy guy like me!I haven’t met the other kitties at Pet Angel because most of them are shy or have special needs, and I am a cat who likes to wrestle and play. I would likely get along with another cat that would be submissive and like to play, but if you have another alpha cat, we would likely not get along. Since I lived as an outside cat for so long, I had to avoid dogs most of my life, and dogs make me nervous. I would be best suited for a home with no dogs. Additionally, I like to play with my humans and am rough, so I would be best in a home with children over the age 12.I am looking for a strictly indoor only home, with a family who will NEVER let me outside! I lived on the streets for long enough, and am excited to transition into a spoiled house cat! I have never had a family before, and can’t wait to find the humans who will love me until the end of time! I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and

Story
Hi, My name is Graham! I was transferred to Pet Angel from another organization because I am a high stress cat. When I arrived to the other organization, whom also houses dogs, I was so afraid I lost all my fur. No seriously- I was a naked cat. The anxiety of being in loud building with so many dogs stressed me out so bad I lost all my fur, and they took me to the vet thinking I had a skin condition. The vet was able to figure out it was from stress, and agreed to keep me in her clinic in a low-stress environment so I could grow my fur back. Once my fur was mostly grown back in (as of right now, I’m still a little patchy on my ears and my back legs. A lot of people think I am a black cat with tabby strips, but the vet says that’s just the way my fur is growing back in!) they asked Pet Angel to take me. Pet Angel is a specialized cat only rescue that focuses on bonded pair, extra-need, shy and elderly cats, so there are no dogs here and much calmer environment. Since arriving to Pet Angel, I’ve been doing quite well, but they also have given me ample time to adjust without stress, so I haven’t lost any more of my fur! YAY! While I am a nervous boy, I am the biggest lover and I just adore humans! I usually spend my time inside my favorite hidey hole bed, or the circle tunnel in my free roam room, but if you coax me out, I will come out for all the attention! I love to be with you! I start to drool as soon as you start petting me! I love to sit on your lap, and never want you to stop petting me! I do good with the other mellow cats that I live with, and enjoy that they don’t try to wrestle with me! They’re good company! I am hoping to find a mellow family to take me home with them! Since I am a high-stress cat, I’m hoping to find a low-stress home! One where I can stay strictly indoors and will not travel, have lots of places to hide if I want to, and do not have a lot of other animals or children in the home. If your home is busy, I will not thrive there. I am the biggest lover, and if you have a quiet home, you’re going to wonder how you lived without me for so long!!! I am fixed, microchipped, and up to date on all my shots, and I am negative for FIV/FELV! I would love to meet you! Please submit an application to meet me at https://petangeladoption.com/adopt-a-cat

Story
Hi, My name is Rip! I was originally adopted as a kitten from Pet Angel with my biological Sister, Ed (yes, a female named Ed) and another kitten we were raised with, Frankie. While in our home, Ed and I were not getting along with Frankie anymore, so Frankie moved to live with our former owners father, where he still is today. Unfortunately, Our owner wasn’t able to keep Ed and I either, and we came back to Pet Angel earlier this year. Ed and I only seem to get along with each other, and do not get along with other cats outside of each other. However, we are not bonded- she’s just the only other cat I’ll tolerate. So while we are not going up as a bonded pair, If you are open to two cats and don’t have other pets, I encourage you to check out my sister Ed too! But if you’re only wanting a single kitty, I would be great as a single cat! One thing about me is that I loooooove horizontal cardboard scratching posts and cat trees! I love to scratch cardboard scratching posts that lay on the ground- it’s my favorite thing to do! Pet Angel has one in my cage 24/7, and replaces it often because I love to just rip that thing apart (which, don’t worry, cardboard scratching pads are cheap so you can keep getting them for me when you adopt me!) I also LOVE cat trees! I love climbing them, and I love being at the very top! Every time I come out of my cage, I go to the tallest cat tree in the rescue and climb to the very top! I am a curious boy who likes to play with stick toys, enjoys laying inside hidey huts and on hammocks, and sometimes my teeth stick out so I look like a little vampire! I take really good care of my fur- I am incredibly soft! Like I said earlier, my biological sister Ed is the only cat I get along with. I have been tested with other cats, and will not accept them. I either need a home as a single cat or to be adopted with my sister, Ed. I will not do well with a dog. I would do fantastic with children! I am looking for a strictly-indoor only home within the state of Michigan! I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and negative for FIV/FELV. I’m praying my forever family comes to get me soon! To start the process for a meet and greet, please submit an application at https://petangeladoption.com/adopt-a-cat

Story
Hello, my name is Tinky! I was adopted as a kitten in 2014, and lived with my former momma for nearly 10 years until she fell on hard times and had to return me to Pet Angel in July of 2024. Upon my return, Pet Angel had to get me some extra vet care. I desperately needed my teeth cleaned, so Pet Angel raised the money (with the help of amazing donors from Tik Tok) and I got my teeth professionally cleaned in November of 2024! During that procedure, the vet noticed I was rapidly losing weight, and took some blood while I was under for the teeth cleaning to run some tests. This test revealed that I have a thyroid issue and will need medication each day for the rest of my days. I am now on that medication, and doing great! Pet Angel crushes my pill and mixes it into a churu cat treat, and I gobble it right up- no fighting or fuss (in fact, I like it because I get wet food every morning now!) I am now looking for an owner who doesn’t mind a kitty that needs to take a daily medication! I am a LOVER! I love to talk, and I love being around people! I always have something to say and I ALWAYS want your attention! When you’re not around, I like to sleep in my cat beds belly up, legs spread, like a star fish! But as soon as a human comes around, my focus is on getting pets! I love to meow, rub up against your legs, and roll over on the ground to beg for attention! I love all the pets, and want to sit with you all day long! I really like treats, so if you even move the treat container, you better be giving me some!! I am looking for a strictly indoor-only home where I will be the only pet. I do not get along with other cats. I used to live with one, her name is Goo and she’s up for adoption here too. But we do NOT get along, and I have not done well with other cats here at Pet Angel either. I thrive solo! I do, however, like children and would do well in a home with kids! However, I sometimes nip when I’m over being pet, so I would be best with children a little older and can understand when to back off. I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and negative for FIV/FELV! If you think “oh we should go and meet her” please submit an application to come and see if I’m the purrfect match for you! I promise, you’re going to LOVE me! Story
Hello, my name is Goo! In 2014, A former adopter from Pet Angel found me and brought me inside to live along side the cat she adopted from Pet Angel. However, in July of 2024, she fell on hard times and returned the Pet Angel kitty to Pet Angel, and they agreed to take me in too! When I arrived, I was missing fur all over my body and had scabs all over my neck. I was having an allergic reaction! Pet Angel worked with their vet to elevate my issue, and now my fur is almost grown all the way back in! I’m no longer itchy, all my scabs are gone, and I’m ready for a family to come and take me home forever! I am the perfect balance between laid-back and sociable. When you’re not around, I enjoy my solitude. I hang out in my hidey hole, or up high in a fluffy cat bed. I love hiding inside hidey huts or cat tunnels, and enjoy climbing up high! However, when you do come around, I come to you for pets, attention, and love! I love to rub up against humans legs, I enjoy getting my head pet, and I’m always down for a cat treat! I am usually a quiet girl, but my purring is loud and sometimes I make short little mews too (specifically when you’re not petting me and I want it!) Right now, my fur is almost all the way grown back in from my allergies. Pet Angel will speak to my new family about what to do if my allergies flare up again, but I’m hoping to find a family who would take me to the vet regularly (at least once a year) to make sure I never get itchy and lose my fur like that again! I am looking for a strictly indoor-only home where I will be the only pet. I do not get along with other cats. I used to live with one, her name is Tinky and she’s up for adoption here too. But we do NOT get along, and I have not done well with other cats here at Pet Angel either. I thrive solo! I would do great in a home with older children as well (12+) and would prefer a quieter home with a smaller family. I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and negative for FIV/FELV! If you think “oh we should go and meet her” please submit an application to come and see if I’m the purrfect match for you! I promise, you’re going to LOVE me! I love everyone that I meet despite everything that I've been through! I am so excited to find an adopter. Could you be my forever home?
