My name is Aries and I was rescued from a parking lot in Oxon Hill. I went through some scary things as a kitten that made me shy and cautious, but I'm a very affectionate kitty and I love being petted once I feel safe. I'm quite chatty. I've discovered that I love wet food and Temptations treats. My foster mom tells me I'm beautiful, all white with only a black spot on my back and a black tail. I will need a quiet home with no dogs, no children, or at least no children under 12, and a patient adopter who will give me time and love until I get comfortable in my new home.  I am being fostered with other cats and I would make a good companion for another calm and gentle kitty. HOW I CAME TO PGSPCA My mom brought me and my brothers to a place that had all sorts of plants and cozy spots, but also a lot of people around. The people at the garden center made sure that we had plenty to eat and fresh water to drink until another nice lady took us all inside while we look for our furever homes! DREAM HOME I need to be in a home with other kitty friends and lots of interaction with people. I’d probably do really well with kids who are respectful and know how to be around kitties. I don't necessarily need to be adopted with one of my brothers, but I'll thrive best with other feline companionship. Aslan was rescued when he showed up with 3 racoons for dinner one day in late December. He’s a timid but super affectionate 5-year-old neutered male, up to date on all shots and combo tested negative. He loves being petted once he gets to know you, but is not been much for lap surfing or playing with toys. He is very chill and sweet with our two resident cats, and is food driven. He’s a very calm soul that loves to sun and hasn’t jumped the baby gate that divides his little room from the rest of the house. He likes treats of bacon and tuna juice and would thrive in a calm household with no young kids. Since he’s been inside, he has licked a lot of fur from his body. We’ve ruled out bugs, and the vet thinks it’s more likely anxiety or allergies and that he might have been abused previously. Please consider giving sweet Aslan a chance to win your heart. PERSONALITY I like to inspect things. You could say I was nosey, but I prefer to consider myself curious. You may be curious about my coloring. I am not your average white cat! Not with my calico tail! I am laid-back and quite docile and I like to curl up on the couch with my foster mom. They took care of me and realized that I was sweet and gentle enough to be adopted. I was adopted but a couple of years later I found myself at the PG County Animal Shelter. This was a very scary place to be. Luckily, PGSPCA came and got me and put me in a new foster home where I’ve been able to get comfortable again. DREAM FAMILY I am an older cat so I want a family that has good napping spots. I like to cuddle with my foster mom while she watches TV or is on the computer but I don’t interfere with the keyboard. I want a calm house where I can play a little and then have a good nap. I am sweet and loving and will be a great companion! Sunny is an energetic, playful,and curious little guy of 7 months.We are rehoming because of allergies.He has all his shots but needs to be neutered.He comes with all the bells and whistles so no adjusting of litterboxs or cat tree is needed because we are giving you everything! We just ask that you give him a nice home and love him as much as we did.this wasn't an easy choice but we want better for him even if we personally can't provide it. It’s with a heavy heart that I seeking a loving home for my sweet cat, Love, as I have to move and unfortunately can’t take her with me. It’s incredibly hard to part with her, but she deserve a home where they can continue to be spoiled with love and attention. Love (6 years old) is incredibly affectionate and craves attention and love. She is a total cuddle bug who enjoys being close to her humans and getting all the affection she can. Love is well-behaved. She is wonderful with people, other cats, and kids. I will also be providing her food and water bowls, small toys, as well as a clean litter box to make the transition easier for her.
