Story
??Everyone poops??Dogs. Cats. Heck, we bet that even *YOU* poop (gasp!!!). So really, you won`t be surprised when we tell you that Freedom here - he poops. At four years old, tiny Free Free has gone through a lot of shi...stuff. Found as a kitten with burrs covering his whole behind, he had difficulty using the litterbox before he was diagnosed with a rectal stricture (in scientific terms, his poop chute didn`t operate properly). After months of surgical procedures, the stricture was resolved successfully! But Freedom isn`t exactly `regular`: he uses the litterbox, but inevitably he leaks a little. From the butt. ***Before we share more about this Lil` Turd`s little turds, let`s tell you a little bit about **him**, and why he`s a delight and purrfect companion. No bull??.??Freedom is an affectionate, petite cat at only 5lb (fully grown!). ??He loves kissing people and snuggling with dogs (his purrrrfect home will have a dog to play with!). ??Fun with feather toys and other games, food, and chin scratches are all on the menu when you hang out with Free Free. ***So what kind of care does Freedom need? ??Despite his poopy problem, Freedom is well litterbox trained (he`s never urinated outside the litterbox, and his major stools all go there without problem). ??From a care perspective, his Foster mom uses a quick wet wipe on him twice daily (along with a weekly bath which he takes like a champ!) to keep him cleaner than a Charmin Bear`s bum. ??Freedom wears a diaper when he`s wandering outside of his room - and let`s be real, that`s ADORABLE. ??He takes probiotics and special food to help manage his stool. Freedom also has asymptomatic Feline Coronavirus, which means he will need to be the only cat in the household, but does not currently require any care or treatment for the condition. ***We know it will take a special someone to adopt a cat with an anal anomaly. But Freedom is, ultimately, a perfect cat. He`s playful, cuddly, and loves everyone - he`s special in the truest sense of the word. As his Foster said, she`d be happy to have him live in her office with her forever, but he deserves a chance at a real home. And it`s our job to help him find one.??Everyone poops?? BUTT... only one very special someone will get to take Freedom home. If you`d like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website - https://animalalliesrescue.org/adopt/- and choose me, F

Story
Hello, all! My name is Kirk and I’m very pleased to meet you. The first thing you will notice about me is my beautiful black coat and perfectly bushy tail. If you’ve got it, flaunt it! But there is more to me than my good looks. Let me tell you more about me.I`m looking for a loving forever home. I am very playful and curious and use my litterbox like a champ. I will keep you laughing with my funny antics! I love to lay on radiators and head-butt other cats. My squeaky ball and cat dancer are my favorite toys. I also like to chat - I have a lot to say! However, I am still a bit shy and unsure. I don’t like sudden loud noises, like the vacuum cleaner or ice maker. I’m not a big fan of being picked up or held and shouldn’t go to a home with young children. I need a patient and experienced adopter, but I am absolutely worth it!If you`d like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website– https://animalalliesrescue.org/adopt/ – and choose me, Kirk! My adoption fee is $150 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We’ve been checked by a veterinarian, and we’re up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Story
Have you ever found yourself sitting on top of your cat tree and thinking, `everything the light touches...is my kingdom`? No? Maybe that`s just me. My name is Simba, and I am ready to take my rightful place as king (of your house).Don`t worry, though. I`m not some sort of spoiled royal with an attitude. I might take a little while to warm up to you when you take me home, but after a few days I`ll be ready for snuggles. And chin scratches. By kingly decree, I do demand daily chin scratches. I love to play with my toys, and the ribbon toys are my favorite (so that way you can join in too)! And once playtime is over, I`m happy to monitor my kingdom from the top of the cat tree or sit next to a window so I can look at the birds. It`s always good to keep an eye on the outside avian subjects -- who knows what they might be up to.As long as we`re slowly and properly introduced, I`m happy to share my kingdom with any other cats you might have. But if you want me as your one and only cat, I`m fine with that too. Either way, you can show your love and appreciation for my benevolent rule by petting my fur (I keep it super soft!) and providing me with food. Because food is AWESOME. I`m on a prescription diet -- it`s one of my few kingly demands. Everyone knows the lion is the king of the jungle, but you can`t have one of those in the house. You can take me home instead! And then we can live happily ever after. If you`d like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website – https://animalalliesrescue.org/cat-application – and choose me, Simba! Story
Hi! My name is Simone. I must have been a baker in a former life, because one of my favorite things to do, according to my foster mom, is making biscuits! Especially when I’m sitting on her lap. And I don’t even care that this biscuit making only yields more petting and no actual biscuits. That’s the advantage of being a cat biscuit maker and not a human biscuit maker. You might have already guessed that sitting on a warm lap is my idea of a great time. Second to that is lying in a window and watching the world outside. What could be better? Sun, birds - kitty TV! And finally, I enjoy playing with other cats. But lap sitting is definitely my favorite. As for things I don’t like . . . well, loud noises. But who does? Loud noises are scary and who wants to be scared? Another thing—being put in a cat carrier. I know that sometimes this will happen, so I just ask that it be limited to only when it`s absolutely necessary. Finally stress, another thing nobody likes. In the past, I have had seizures in response to being stressed. But I am now taking meds to prevent this, which are inexpensive and very helpful. One final thing: my foster mom says I’m “a sweet, gentle soul.” If a cat can blush, well, I’m blushing to even write that. Plus, I’m great at using the litterbox. If I’m the kind of cat you’re looking for, look no further! Please fill out an adoption application at this website—https://animalalliesrescue.org/cat-application—and choose me, Simone! Story
If your ideal “cat-mate” is on the sweet and shy side and you’ve left those wild girls in your past, we might be a perfect match. As a mature and reserved lady, I find comfort in routines and like to go at my own pace. After all, life is a journey, not a race. My life is enriched by spending time with humans, receiving pets, exploring and finding cozy spots to relax. Beds and chairs are top of the list. When I meet new humans, it takes a little while to warm up. Once we’ve gotten to know each other better, I’ll nudge you for attention and affection. Did you catch the part at the beginning where I said I’m sweet? It’s worth repeating, I’m super sweet. I didn’t want you to confuse my shyness with anything else. I have a big heart and can’t wait to meet you.If you`d like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website– https://animalalliesrescue.org/adopt/– and choose me, Shea! Story
October is ~10 years old, front declawed and an indoor cat. She is a lap cat and loves to snuggle in bed. When the kids aren't around she will jump on your lap and purr loudly. She will often sit on my lap while I work. She shoves her way on if she has to. October loves to play in bags and dives under the blankets to curl up. She also loves jumping on the bed and getting in the way while you are making it in the morning. Some of her favorite toys are just twist ties and Easter egg shells she can bat around the floor. October recently recovered from an inflamed bladder due to stress. This is the second time she has had this in 2 months so she is clearly stressed in our house. She currently is on specialty food to help prevent this from occurring again while we try to rehome her. She had teeth problems when she was around 3 but nothing since and the vet said they look great. We have a small dog which she mostly ignores. We have 2 young kids which seem to be the main stressor

Story
May is ~10 years old, front declawed and an indoor cats. She is an incredibly sweet and tolerant cat. She is very gentle and wouldn't ever hurt you. When my wife was home during the day she was snuggly but since then tends to want to be moving around especially with the kids but she's usually nearby. She will go and curl up with our other cat quite often. She is curious, athletic and graceful walking on narrow ledges. She loves playing with your hair and flopping around on the floor while you pet her. She enjoys boxes and baskets and draping her front paws over things. Since our child May has been stressed and shortly after we started her on a low dose of stress meds. Without kids she would be happier and could come off them and return to her normal self. We have a small dog which she will occasionally play with and doesn't seem to mind. Our young kids are definitely the main stressors

Story
Meet Momo! This gorgeous one-year-old tortoiseshell shorthair is a sweet, complex kitty looking for her forever home. Though she’s small in size, her personality is anything but—she’s full of character and charm. Momo has a unique backstory. Abandoned by two previous owners, she has developed some attachment issues and needs a patient, understanding environment to feel secure. She’s a bit of a picky eater and has been on a special wet food diet. While Momo can be shy and moody at times, she also has moments of affection and playful curiosity that truly showcase her lovable nature. She values her independence and needs a home that respects her need for space while providing gentle care. Momo is in the process of being spayed and would thrive in a calm, quiet setting where she has time to adjust. If you’re ready to give this petite yet spirited girl a second chance, she just might reward you with her unique and loyal love. Could you be her perfect match?

Story
I've had my cat for 11 years (he is about 12 years old). He is the sweetest and most gentle boy. He is very food motivated and loves to eat and then snuggle and sleep. He was introduced to my other pet about 3 years ago (male chihuahua) and they have been getting along well even snuggling together. I would say Zappa gets along well with other animals, but he is a senior cat and has less energy for playing. I have made a difficult decision to re-home Zappa, since I'm not able to keep two pets anymore in my current and future living situations. I know that by rehoming Zappa, he will continue having the best life. Ideally, I would like for him to be re-homed to a single pet household, where he can get all of the attention. Included with adoption: cat carrier, litter box, food, toys, grooming accessories.
