I am Lemon Pepper and best friends with my twin seester! I am the outgoing one and love exploring the world around me. I am very protective of Rosemary, so I explore the situation and let her know that it is okay if she does too. I love cuddles and scratches behind my ears. There is never a problem with picking me up and loving on me. But when it is time for a nap, Rosemary needs to be right beside me. I cant sleep if we aren't touching. I have a lot of energy and that makes playtime fun! I can be a little mischievous at times, but Rosemary lets me know to settle down. When I don't want to listen to her, I am easily redirected with a "No ma'am. " My job is to keep my foster family entertained, and I do a really good job. I am the sweetest of kitties.

My name is Rosemary, and I am a princess. I am a lot more reserved and cautious than Lemon Pepper. Thank goodness she is always around to let me know something is safe and it is okay to interact with it. I really dont know what i would do without her. I know I look scared in my picture, but I was just waiting on her for nap time, and I was a little chilly. I love chin scratches and back rubs, but these things are going to be done when I'm ready. Well... it's more like when I get jealous of Lemon Pepper getting all the loves. When i decide it is my turn, I am the purriest of kitties. I'm somewhat of a perfectionist and keep my sister in check. I help her get groomed when she doesn't do it well enough, keep our bed in order, and keep the litter box nice and covered up. Making biscuits in our bed is how I let her know it is nap time. I am always the first one to test the treats, but pate meals are a no-go for this princess. I have come a LONG way since we left the shelter, and our foster family believes it would be bad for my progress if I went back or was adopted by a different family from my sister. Please don't take her from me!

Meredith used to be a member of a feral cat colony in Broussard. They have a caretaker that sees to their needs, and they all usually do fairly well there. However, we decided to take in Meredith because she was quite sick and needed to be on medication for multiple weeks. During that time, she's been in a foster home and has adjusted to the house-cat life quite well. She's now completely healthy and ready to find a forever home! Meredith is very much a diva and likes things her way. She's more like a roommate than a pet, to be honest. She can be very vocal when she wants something, usually either food or to go in/out of a specific room. She's not really a cuddley cat, but she does enjoy people's company. You'll often find her napping on the couch next to her foster parents while they're watching TV. The best way to win over Meredith's heart is through food - any kind of treats will do. You can also always count on her to join you in the kitchen when you're cooking food or sitting down for a meal. Meredith absolutely adores other cats and loves to play with the other foster kittens. Because of this, we'd love to see her go to a home that already has one or more friendly cats, but she'd probably be fine as an only child too. She's currently living with three large dogs and gets along with them quite well as long as they respect her personal space. Xavier is a super sweet and loving cat. His favorite thing to do is to follow the volunteers around the building while they clean and then curl up in their laps for cuddle-time after they finish their chores. He wants to be friends with everyone that he meets, including other cats and dogs too! Xavier was originally found as a stray with a severe injury to his back leg which needed to be amputated. We aren't sure of how he obtained the fracture but suspect that he may have been hit by a car. He's completely healed now and ready to find his forever home with a dedicated owner that's willing to accommodate his special needs. Because of his disability, he would do best in a home that has carpet and/or rugs to help with his mobility. Additionally, he's gained a few too many pounds since he was on cage rest and how needs to be on a diet to avoid the extra stress on his remaining joints. Periwinkle has completely overcome a terrible injury to become the sweetest, snuggliest little girl! She is now totally able-bodied and loves to play with balls of any type and bouncy springs. She is quiet, gentle, and loves to snuggle, especially after meals. She gets along well with other cats and can hold her own even though she's the smallest amongst her fellow fosters. Callie has been in our family since birth. She is 2 years old, almost 3. Her birthday is April 10, 2022. Her mom is one of our other cats. We lived together, just us two, and she was always happy. One day she got out the house and got pregnant and had a litter of kittens. We kept one of the kittens and ever since she hasn't been the same ever since. We're looking for a home that can give her the attention and love that she needs. She also deserves a home where it's just her and her owners, no other pets. She does not get along with other cats, and gets panicked around kids. She is very curious when new people come around and loves the attention. She is very loving when she feels safe and comfortable, but in our home she does not feel that way anymore and we cannot fix that. She is also playful and very cute but she sleeps majority of the day
