Domestic Shorthair kittens & cats in Morehead, Kentucky

We often come across cats that for many different reasons are not suitable for inside homes. These cats desperately need barn homes to avoid euthanasia. These cats do require basic care: access to food, fresh water, and appropriate shelter. In return they will work for you and can provide inexpensive pest control. Remi is a Domestic Short Hair, Manx mix, Bob-Tail  Female born March 2019. Remi is a food lovin' kinda girl, she is always ready for her food and often reminds you if you are late. Her favorite toy is her flamingo which she packs everywhere with her. She enjoys laps and all the snuggles. She is currently having a hard time emotionally after her spay surgery. She is on anxiety meds but her vet is hopeful after finding her perfect quiet home she will be able to be weaned off of them. She would do well in a quiet home with no other animals. She would do fine with older children and does great with adults. She is just needs a little tender loving care and some patience and will make a great cat. Cliff is a Domestic Short Hair, Mostly White with Tabby spots, Male, born September 2021.  Cliff is an FIP treatment survivor. His observation ended at the end of August 22 and he is finally ready to find his forever home. At this time, he is healthy and has not had any rebounds since treatment. He is an energetic confidant kitty who enjoys playing and the company of other kitties and doggos. He gets along with most other animals but can be a bit bossy at times. Cliff loves boxes, catnip and climbing. When he is wore out he will come lay on or next to you and likes to sleep at the foot of the bed at night. He is not a fan of being held in a fashion that constrains him, he will get very wiggly...but he does love head rubs and cuddling on his terms. He loves to wrestle and romp and would make a good companion to another kitty. Adoption preference will be given to people with experience with FIP treatment and those who have a catio!
