Jazzy is a sweet girl (3 years old) who belonged to my sister. My sister recently entered drug treatment and Jazzy came to stay with us. We already have multiple pets and cannot keep her. She loves pets but needs a little bit to get to know you. She has arthritis in her back hips so she doesn’t like her back end touched but loves head pets. She receives a monthly injection at the vet that costs approximately $60. Other than the good she is in good health! She is litter trained also. If you adopt Jazzy, I am willing to pay for the shots for 6 months (directly to your vet). Jazzy has been through a lot with my sister but she is a good girl and looking for a stable home!

Meet Elsie! She is about 9 years old and such a sweet, loving cat. I have recently moved into an apartment with incredibly noisy, upstairs neighbors and Elsie has begun to decline; she’s hiding a lot and overgrooming herself. Unfortunately, I do not have the means to move and have had to take on more hours at work; I do not want to see her so unhappy and anxious. Elsie would love a home that is calm, with a human who is home most of the day. She’s a cuddler and wants nothing more than to be by your side all day! I consider her a low energy cat; she does like to play and explore up high, but relaxation is her number one priority. She has never been introduced to children, so I cannot say how she will act. However, I think she would enjoy a home with older, calm children. Elsie has been around low to medium energy dogs and doesn’t mind respectful interaction once she’s used to them; high energy dogs are too much for her. Both cats experienced some trauma as kittens and were very scared for the first few weeks after coming to Life House. However, they have both made great strides. Kammi and Cola are bonded, and have shared a cat room, just the two of them, for most of their time at Life House.Kammi is shy, but she absolutely loves being petted. As long as you are patient with her, she will open up to you and start approaching you easily. She likes to sit beside people she trusts, curling up beside them or rubbing against them sweetly.
