Baxter is a 3 year old male cat who was rescued after showing up at a kind persons job site. He is in a foster home with both small dogs and cats. It takes him awhile to warm up to new animals and he would enjoy a forever home with no other or fewer animals. He would prefer that other animals respect his personal space and he will let them know when they are too close. Baxter just wants to be with his person! He can be silly and playful and likes to play with his toys and run around. He likes to lay with you and make biscuits with his paws. He has become quite the lap cat but also loves to lounge around on the back of the couch, look out the window, and watch the birds. Since he was found outside, he will need a diligent owner who will make sure he doesn’t escape out an open door. We recommend no young children who could accidently let him outside. Miss Kitty is a precious 13 year old girl looking for an amazing retirement home! 👵🏼. She is the most wonderful lap cat, who enjoys cuddling, light play, and naps! She gets around great from a mobility standpoint and loves to be her person's shadow, following them room to room. Miss Kitty had an owner who loved her very much. However, the owner was homeless and living in her car. It was a very hard decision, but her owner decided to surrender Miss Kitty so she could have better life in her golden years. 💛 She has diabetes but it is managed well with diet and she does not require insulin or other medication at this time. She is thriving after some good vet care and change to high quality food. She also just had a full dental! Miss Kitty is great with other cats and used to live with a dog. She would do best in a quieter home as she’s a super laid-back girl who just wants to relax, cuddle, watch out the windows, and enjoy the sun. This little girl came from a high intake shelter where she was brought in with obvious neurological issues. That shelter didnt have the space to allow for time to see if it could heal her. When she came in she only had sight here and there and looked like a horrible mess. With some TLC and time, this little girl recovered 100%!! Its beyond amazing! Cash was adopted out as a very young kitten but sadly returned at 18 months old. Some people are just not planning when they see a cutie kitten and adopt before thinking they will not stay kittens. Cash was an only cat in his home and was played with roughly and with human hands. That teaches a kitten to bite when they dont have another cat to tell them "hey dude, that hurt!" and then refuses to play with them. That teaches the kitten to not bite. Unfortunately, Cash learned to give bites when playing, he loves to play. And now that he is adult he needs to learn not to bite. He would be great with another cat that loves to play and will also teach him no biting :-) Could you please give Cash another chance at a furever home, he deserves it! He got cheated!
