Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Gilligan loves other cats; he must have a feline companion to feel safe. He’s a scaredy cat, too. He came from a terrible hoarding situation with poor conditions, little food, and almost 100 cats, mostly in cages. It made him fearful, but when he’s comfortable he is so loving with a big purr. Gilligan needs an understanding, patient owner. Food is the key to his heart. He loves to play, so playtime with you and/or his cat friend(s) makes him happy. In his foster home, he is out and about all day but he’s shy about being touched and will often run, unless it’s wet food time or bedtime. He sleeps on the bed with his foster mom and other cats and loves a morning session of petting. When picked up, he likes to be held close, otherwise he will get scared and jump.  His foster mom loves him and hopes there is a person or family that will love him as much, despite his quirks. He won’t show his charms at first. Gilligan will need to acclimate to his new home and people, but he’s worth it. He hasn’t been around kids and older ones are preferred as he is skittish with sudden movements and loud noises. He would probably adapt to an easy going dog, and he likes other animals. Gilligan was born approximately November 1, 2021, and his adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is half off. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweetheart at our adoption center this weekend!  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Robbie and Star are foster friends who have bonded with each other and want to stay together furever. Star is a beautiful tortie girl who likes to be petted and to sit on her cat tree looking out the window. Robbie is a gorgeous orange and white tabby boy who loves his Star. They are both shy kitties and will need a quiet, patient, cat-saavy home where they are able to relax and get to know their humans. Star and Robbie haven't been around kids, but older ones who could play with them and be patient should be fine. Star is not a fan of being picked up or a fan of her carrier so they will need to be appointment-only kitties. Let us know when you would like to meet these two sweethearts.  Star was born approximately March 27, 2019, and Robbie was born approximately September 3, 2022. Their combined adoption fee $167.50, which includes $20 each for microchips. They are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Feta is a very sweet, very shy little girl. She’s had a tough go of her first year of life, and is ready to settle down and stay put in her forever home. She spends her days snuggled up in her favorite spot--her cat tower. It’s her safe space. Feta’s shyness might keep her from approaching you for pets, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy them. She loves a good back scratch and will roll over, get comfy, and make biscuits to show her appreciation.  Feta needs a family that will be patient with her anxiety, and accepting of her shy personality. She may not be the most snuggly cat, but she’s so sweet, gentle, and curious. We feel she will become less shy as she settles into her forever home and has space to roam and explore her house.  Feta does like to hide if she can find a hiding spot, so it’s probably best for Feta to be in a home with few tiny spaces where she can get stuck. She would do best in a home without dogs. We think she would do okay with other (friendly) cats with a slow introduction.  Feta was born approximately January 5, 2022, and her adoption fee, including a microchip, is $105, or adopt 2, and the second is half off. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.
Tabitha is a sweet, lovable, shy tabby girl with soft, bunny-like fur. She was taken to a shelter after a good Samaritan found her outside with difficulty walking with her back legs. It is unknown whether she was injured at birth or from being outside, but In any case, she gets around well enough to jump on a couch (her favorite place to be) and a low scratching post. She has no problems using a cat box. She is just a little wobbly with her back legs and sometimes they will slip out from under her if she moves too quickly. She is fairly shy at first but will warm up once she settles into a routine (allow up to a month). She adores petting and head scratches. She is not aggressive and should be fine by herself or with other gentle cats who will not chase her or fight with her. The best home for her is one that is quiet with an older, experienced cat owner, without children or dogs. Tabitha is available by appointment only at the adoption center or at her foster’s home.  Tabitha was born approximately November 10, 2022, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. Story
Please contact Kathryn (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Cleo needs a hero! She is a beautiful, playful 7-year-old dilute tortoise-shell kitty who loves to be around people. As a kitten, she was adopted from Kitty City and lived with her person for 6 years, at which time her adopter became ill and died. Neighbors took her in but a month later relinquished her to a shelter, who scanned her chip and learned she was originally a Kitty City cat. So, we took her back and want to find her forever person/people! People who have expressed interest in her have been hesitant to adopt her because she is afraid of new people, and she expressed that fear through hissing, growling, and even sometimes swiping at feet/ankles. This behavior subsides when she learns she can trust. She also does not appear to be a lap cat, nor does she like being picked up or held. She does, however, enjoy being nearby and will likely settle in near her person as a fantastic companion. She has been introduced to the foster’s dog and cats, and while she sometimes hisses, she has not been aggressive. This leads us to believe that she would adapt to a home with other cat-friendly pets if she is given a slow and patient introduction to them. Cleo has been in her current foster home since January 2023, and she is so ready to find her permanent home! Cleo needs a quiet home with someone who is patient and will give her a few weeks to adjust. She is a tortie and can be a little feisty at times, but who isn't?! Will you be Cleo's hero? She is available for appointments only at the foster’s home, so we encourage you to meet her if you are interested in providing the right environment for her! Be ready for a super rewarding experience!! Cleo was born approximately June 23, 2017, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt 2, and the 2nd is half off. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and worming, tested negative for feline leukemia and is microchipped. Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Jayden is a sweet kitty who lost her owner and is now ready for a new forever home. She has the cutest little bobtail, just like a bunny! When she’s excited, it wiggles energetically back-and-forth. She warms up quickly to new people and although she loves to get her pets, she can be loving and friendly one moment and then decide to growl and swat at you the next. Because of this, she needs a quiet, child-free home where she will be the only pet. Jayden needs a special owner who will understand that everything needs to be on her terms. Given time and with a stress-free, stable environment, she may decide she doesn't need to be aggressive. It’s hard for a kitty to adjust after losing her longtime owner. Regardless, she will be a great companion, follow you around, and be glad to see you. Can you be that special person for her? Jayden was born approximately November 11, 2018, and her adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hello there. My name is Classic, and I am a 13-pound, bashful young boy who is ready to find my forever person. I always knew that human love existed, but as a community cat, I was never fortunate enough to experience it until I met my foster mom. I am a little timid at first but once I am comfortable, my confidence levels skyrocket and I am able to show my true adoration for people. My foster mom thinks I have the most adorable squishy face and says my biscuit making skills are one of the best in the business. I enjoy snuggling next to my foster mom and the moment she gets into bed, I jump right on to the bed with her! As one of the lost boys in the community cat population, I had many other male cats chase and fight me (but I am a lover, I get along with other cats just superbly) which explains my FIV+ status. It isn't a death sentence and I have been exceptionally healthy my entire time in my foster home. I know I am not perfect and I know I am not for everyone but I do know that my forever human is out there. If you have a soft spot for the "underdogs (hehe, funny since I am a cat), a handful of patience and are keen on binge watching TV in bed, then I could be the one for you! Story
Koko is a stunning, sweet-natured 15-year-old cat looking for a quiet and loving home. After her owner moved in with family, Koko had to say goodbye to the only home she'd ever known. This gentle girl is declawed and enjoys the peace of her own space, away from the hustle and bustle of other animals. Koko may be a bit shy at first, but once she warms up to you, her affectionate side will shine. She adores cozy naps, gentle pets, and will happily be your calm and loyal companion. If you're looking for a serene, low-maintenance friend to share your quiet moments, Koko could be your perfect match. Give Koko the peaceful retirement she deserves, and in return, she'll give you all the love in her heart. Could you be the one to give Koko her forever home? Sweet little Mariana always wants to be where the action is! She's a great little toy mouser, ball chaser and laser dot fanatic who loves to play with any available kitten. Hi, I'm Paloma and my name means 'Dove'. I'm peaceful as a dove when I'm sleeping and all action when I'm awake. I love to run, jump, climb the cat tree, chase/race the other kittens and I'm the fastest! When I'm not watching the birds and squirrels, chasing a ball or wrestling toy mice (or my siblings) I like to keep myself clean, then help my brother Mateo wash his face and ears. My foster mom says I'm an awesome little girl who would be happiest with another kitten my age (like Mateo, Sofia or Mariana) for a best friend and playmate. Interested in Paloma?
