Was found in late summer of 2023 as a abandoned kitten; took until november of 2023 to get him to come inside. During this time he was attacked by another cat and possibly a raccoon. He is about a year and a half old currently (July 2024). He is very playful and likes to run around. He likes to climb and be up high to see everything around him. He loves to sit in large windows and look at birds and squirrels. He will not get along with my 8 year old fluffy ragdoll cat who is special needs. He likes curling up on a nest of clothes, on top of towels or loose bedding. When he wants affection he will climb up on top of you or wherever you are at and ram his head under your chin and purr until you give him cheek scritches and ear rubs. He loves running after catnip mice or sparkly cat toy balls. I want somewhere he has both the space and people who can play with him; he needs to be the ONLY animal in the home though. He needs a home fast.

I'm a little cat with a big personality! I arrived at HOPE after having to be surrendered by the family that took me in after I was kicked out of my home. They loved me but I really didn't like their current cats. Most the lobby cat's here at the shelter annoy me a lot too, so I would prefer to be your only one. Other than that, I absolutely love people. I'm always ready for any kind of attention you give me. When I first got to the shelter I was a bit stressed and grouchy. So I may need a few days in your home to adjust before I'm ready for all that love, but I will get there quickly!

My name is Jax and I’ve been going through it a bit lately. First my owner passed away and his family was unable to keep my sister and I so we were brought to HOPE. The people here are super nice but I was still a bit unsure and scared at first. My sister knew we were safe and was friendly and affectionate so I started adventuring out of my cage too. Then one night my sister passed away suddenly. Nobody is sure what happened since she never acted like anything was wrong but she was quite frail so the people think she might have had a hidden sickness. So i’m a bit lonely now and I’d love a nice, calm house to live in. I’m still a bit shy and unsure in new spaces but as long as you let me learn at my own pace, I will be nothing but sweet. I’m laid-back and calm at 8 years old. I don’t love the other cats but I mainly just ignore them and do not like when dogs get in my space at all, but not many cats do!

I'm Quill! I came to HOPE with 4 young kittens and also took in a little orphan that needed a mama and siblings the same day we came in. I was an outdoor cat in my past, so I'm pretty sweet but still a little bit shy and unsure. I may take a little getting used to the indoor life and new people. Meet Ziggy & Panda! Two handsome boys, all dressed up and ready to meet you. These two were adopted from us as kittens, in fact, their mom is still with us. Unfortunately, they were returned due to the kids in the home not being respectful of them. They did just fine with the children but after those behaviors started, they became scared and began hiding. These two have been together since they were born, we really would like for them to go together. Right now, they are still pretty shy but always friendly and open to affection. They roam our communal cat room just fine.
