We got Aura and another cat ( both Female) a couple of years ago from a family that had kittens. Aura has always been a little anxious and had a harder time settling, and after we had a baby she's retreated back to being very reserved and shy. With her anxiousness I believe she would do much better in a home with no other pets and no children. She has had the issue of spraying during heat with the other cat around, which we believe would stop if she got spayed. We do not have the ability to pay for it, which is why we would love to rehome her to someone who can meet all her needs. Aura is independent but also loves to cuddle occasionally. She loves setting in the window to watch outside, her favorite toy is a laser, and of course she loves her catnip.

Due to health issues in the family, I am looking to rehome her. No rehoming fee as long as she goes to an equally loving home with people to play with.

Toby is a young, very playful and affectionate cat. He loves to play with moving toys that make noises, and chirp at birds. For ongoing health reasons, my family can no longer keep him, and the rehoming fee is free as long as he goes to a good home that loves to play and will love him as much as I do. We had him since he was a kitten, and is an indoor cat who has never been outside, so he is unvaccinated.

This sweet girl was found as a stray. She was brought to Furry Friends Refuge to be spayed, when it was discovered she has a birth defect to her front left leg, but she gets around just great. Her Sternum did not form properly before she was born, so her heart is only protected by her skin. She absolutely LOVES people and wants nothing more than to be pet and loved. Although her medical issues may seem a bit scary, Jabari will let nothing stop her and continues to run, jump, and play like any other young cat should. She wouldn't mind living with other cats or low energy dogs but also wouldn't mind keeping the attention of her owner to herself. If you have a safe quiet place in your life for this sweet girl, please contact us to meet her and her foster mom will answer any questions.

Meet the guy with the most gorgeous eyes you'll ever see, Bebo! This lovely young man is a bit on the shy side, but once he is comfortable with you, he'll prove to be a very sweet little cat. Bebo is a visual learner, and has learned that humans aren't so scary through seeing people interact with other cats. He's a big fan of the backscratcher and brushes. He's also learning that being pet by hand can be pretty cool, too. Bebo lived with dogs before, and wouldn't mind living with other four legged animals. He isn't a big fan of loud noises, and would prefer a quiet home with people that understand he will need time to adjust. He has done great in his foster home and continues to make more and more progress each day!

It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Crunchy Granola Suite - I know it is a weird name but whatever. My foster mom and dad call me Gato to remind me that I am not a dog. (Gato means cat in another language) I like the dogs here. I play chase with them, and I will wrestle with the puppies although they are getting big and between the 2 of them, they can pin me down more often than I like. It's not fair getting ganged up on but I am a good gato, I just hiss and run and that usually takes care of that. The big dogs just walk on by me and occasionally I will swat their tails but really, they outweigh me by at least 70# so not much to play with there. I taught myself how to go in and out of the doggie door and like to lay in the sun when the weather is nice. I have been known to sneak across the street and sleep on the neighbor's porch chairs too. I probably shouldn't say that, but it is true. I will need a home with indulgent adopters or a home without the doggie door for me to sneak out of. If you are indulgent or don't have a doggie door, please let me know. I am very cuddly and like to sleep on your shoulder when you are doing dumb stuff like working on the computer or watch TV. I will also share your pillow at night if you let me and purr in your ears. Adoption fee is $150 and I am only adoptable in the state of Texas.
