Meet Leo! Leo is a 7.5 year old white short haired cat. He is a big boy, but does not over eat. He is shy, but curious and usually stays a good distance away from any commotion. Leo had a teeth cleaning in October 2020. Unfortunately, his vet closed about six months ago and we do not get have those records He is allergic to Revolution Plus, but the regular Revolution is fine for him. Story
Meet Tommy, he's around 3 years old, and a heartthrob with cheeks so plump they're practically begging for a squeeze! Tommy is a warrior in his own right, rocking the FIV/FeLV positive badge with style. Tommy is a bit shy at first since he doesn't trust strangers (his parents taught him that I'm sure ). But don't let that fool you; he's a bundle of love and playfulness just waiting to charm his way into your heart. Tommy is here to defy the stigma surrounding FIV/FeLV, showcasing his robust health and radiating love as a testament to the many hopeful good years ahead of this resilient hunk of feline! Tommy loves playtime and still has a lot of his kitten personality left! His energy is contagious, and you'll find yourself eagerly joining in on the fun! Tommy's Kryptonite does happen to be vet trips which makes that aspect of him a bit more challenging, but who likes the vet anyways? If you're looking for an only kitty (or a friend for another FIV or FELV kitty) Tommy is the one you've been waiting for! Apply today to meet Tommy in his foster home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Dip! This super chill, easygoing guy is just under a year old. Found as a stray kitten by some good Samaritans, Dip was living happily as an outdoor cat until he needed to be neutered and treated for an ear infection. When we saw how SWEEEET he was, we knew he was definitely inside cat material! Dip quickly adapted to indoor life, loving snuggles in bed and using the litter box like a pro. Now at the rescue, he gets along wonderfully with the kittens and other cats. Dip just wants to snuggle and play, making him an easy addition to your family. Could Dip be the perfect fit for your home?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
This sweet girl was found as a stray. She was brought to Furry Friends Refuge to be spayed, when it was discovered she has a birth defect to her front left leg, but she gets around just great. Her Sternum did not form properly before she was born, so her heart is only protected by her skin. She absolutely LOVES people and wants nothing more than to be pet and loved. Although her medical issues may seem a bit scary, Jabari will let nothing stop her and continues to run, jump, and play like any other young cat should. She wouldn't mind living with other cats or low energy dogs but also wouldn't mind keeping the attention of her owner to herself. If you have a safe quiet place in your life for this sweet girl, please contact us to meet her and her foster mom will answer any questions.

Story
Bebo is a 4 year old shy boy looking for a home that can be patient with him as he learns to trust his family. After spending three years in a home he was returned to Furry Friends due to the family having medical issues that meant they could no longer keep him. At the shelter Bebo was standoffish and scared, always choosing to run, hide, or hiss when people came by. He was lucky to have a foster come forward and be willing to work with him and give a home to feel safe in! Now Bebo has made tons of progress, and while he still runs at times he has discovered that pets and scratches are great! Bebo has previously lived with a dog and with cats and would do great in a home with other four legged companions to help show him the ropes in his new home. He has also been sponsored meaning that their is no fee to adopt him and give him the home he has been craving.

Story
After being found as a stray, Tom came to Furry Friends Refuge in search of a home of his very own. We suspect that Tom has never had the privilege of calling anything "home", and all he is hoping for this Christmas is for someone to give him a chance. When found, Tom created a bond with the person who found him and was loving and affectionate. But unfortunately our staff and volunteers have not been able to bring that side of Tom out. The shelter can be a very scary place for animals, and Tom was often too nervous to come out from his corner during the day. He now has a foster who continues to show Tom that people aren't scary, but winning this boys heart has proved to be a challenge, but he continues to make progress each day. He has done well with other cats and would love a home with another four legged friend. Don't play around! Help us find Tom his Jerry!

Story
Bebe came to us after being found in car at a car dealership. She was then brought to Furry Friends Refuge in the hopes of finding a home that is safe and warm, where she won't have to worry about finding safe places to hide. For months she stayed hidden from staff and visitors, only coming out when the lights were out and no one was around. But with time and the confidence of her other kitty friends around she has begun to come out of her shell. Often she can be a bit too shy to come out to greet people, but has realized that pets and attention can actually be pretty great. Bebe is Felv+ meaning that her immune system is weaker than other cats, and something like a common cold can be a bit harder for her system to get over. Because of this Furry Friends offers our Reasonable Vet Care Program to all of our Felv+ kitties, meaning that we provide medical care (as needed and as schedules allow) at no cost to these guys that would otherwise be euthanized at other shelter in previous years for their diagnoses. To top it off Bebe is sponsored so there is no fee to adopt her! You can take Bebe home and watch as she makes progress being a happy, loving kitty somewhere she can feel safe for the rest of her life. Stop by the shelter today to meet Bebe!

Story
Meet Cece! This girl will come running to you the second she sees you. After being found as a 5 day old baby with no mother in site, she was brought to Furry Friends to get healthy and ready for a home to call her own. As she continued to grow her foster mom began to realize that something wasn't quite right. Cece was struggling to walk and stay balanced, and seemed to have issues using the litter box. We continued to monitor this sweet girl while we looked for an explanation, and we are now ready to find her a forever home! Cece is currently on a specialized urinary care diet and has been using the litter box well since coming back to the shelter. She has done well with other cats and would be an amazing addition to any home. Stop by the shelter to meet our sweet cuddle bug today!

Darling is sweet, affectionate, and oh so adorable! This boy was originally brought in as a stray and quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite. He got the chance to live life in a foster home and was discovered to be a total bed hog! He loves being close to his people and cuddling up during bed time. He does well with other cats and has lived fine with a dog as well. This boy is Feline Leukemia positive, meaning he has a weakened immune system is weaker than other cats, and something like a common cold can be a bit harder for her system to get over. Unforunately, due to some financial strains. I am having to move. With this being said, the person I will be living with is extremely allergic to cats and has had medical complications in the past due to this allergy. Q and Cass are beautiful kitties that love kids, gets along with all types of dogs, and are fun playful bunch! I really need to find a new home for them as I have had no luck with friends and family!
