Story
Chopper loves to take naps and is very playful with other cats after being correctly introduced. He loves to eat, he's a bit overweight but that doesn't stop him from running around. He likes to cuddle but he doesn't like belly rubs.

Story
I Got Hansoloburger from my grandma, but unfortunately I am moving and I can not bring him with me so I'm trying to find him a forever home with someone that will love him. He loves to play with other cats and loves his cat tree and and his cat toys. He gets very lonely so I wouldn't recommend getting him if you don't have another cat present. He loves to sleep with the other cats or with you if he chooses. He's very cuddly and will watch you while you eat. He loves to come with me to the bathroom to make sure I'm safe. He is a very vocal kitty especially when it's dinner time.

Story
Perry is a sweet boy, who loves attention from people, but is wary of other cats- they pick on him! For that reason, he has some marking issues that we're working on, & we recommend that he be an only cat, or maybe with a very friendly, non- dominant cat in his new home. He really is a sweet boy, he just gets picked on for some reason. **If you are interested in adoption, please go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to fill out the Cat Adoption Application. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative (unless noted), microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Our adoption fee for cats is free will to approved applicants.**November 4, 2024, 8:52 pm

Story
***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Elle is a beautiful girl.  She is actually a dilute calico although she is mostly grey with just a few spots of peach in her thick soft fur.  Elle and her sister Eliza were part of a rescue where there were just too many cats for the owner to care for.  The sisters were born spring of 2020 but sadly the girls didn't receive the socialization they needed in order to trust and appreciate the affection from humans.  They have gotten better during their time at the shelter and would likely do even better in a home environment but they are still timid.  Elle is more welcoming to gentle pets than her sister.  Elle would need a quiet home with a family that is willing to be patient with the her while she learns that she is safe in order for her to be comfortable in her new home. Elle is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  As always, our cat and kitten adoption fees are free will to approved applicants. November 4, 2024, 8:52 pm

Story
***The first step in the adoption process is to go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to complete the Adoption Application*** Coral came to us with her siblings Conrad & Connie. Coral is the most shy of the bunch, having just started letting us pet her a tiny bit at a time. She's never bitten or hissed at us, she's just uncomfortable with human touch. Her brother Conrad is helping a little bit with her shyness, but it is a process & any potential adopter would need to keep that in mind or just be OK with having a kitty friend who doesn't want to cuddle & doesn't like a lot of commotion, like most of the cats in the blue room with her. That being said, she does get along with the other kitties in her room, so another calm cat to help her socialization a little would be great for her, maybe consider adopting her with one of her siblings? Connie would be a great balancing personality addition with Coral. Coral is spayed & up to date on vaccinations. As always all cat & kitten adoption fees are a free will donation for approved applicantsNovember 4, 2024, 8:52 pm
