Story
Meet Dottie, a young feline whose personality is a delightful mix of cuddly warmth and playful energy. Dottie was born to a feral mother and came into foster care with her two siblings. She was the only girl and like most sisters thought it was her place to boss the boys. Dottie began her stay in foster care as a shy girl, but over time she's become a very playful kitty, even rolling over for belly rubs. With love and patience, she'll quickly adjust to her new surroundings. Her curiosity helps her to explore and understand her environment. Dottie loves to engage in interactive games, and her affectionate nature makes her a perfect companion for cozy evenings. Dottie's intelligence shines as she masterfully chases laser lights, displaying her agility and speed. Her love for feather toys is unmatched, playfully batting them around with her nimble paws. Adopting Dottie means bringing home a bundle of love and joy. Her zest for life will fill your home with laughter and her affectionate nature will provide endless comfort. Dottie is waiting to share her love with a family that will cherish her. Story
Say hello to Buddy! Easygoing and Friendly are two words that perfectly describe him. Back in 2019, Buddy was fostered by his current foster mom. He was surrendered back to AOSC through no fault of his own and was adopted. No fault of his own was surrendered a second time in 2024-- he would love to find his FUREVER home. His foster mom has this to say about him: "Before coming back to me as a foster, Buddy was up for adoption at an adoption center, but was terrified at that particular adoption location. As soon as I brought him home, he has been nothing but sweet and affectionate! It has been fun fostering a previous foster of mine! Buddy loves human attention and loves to rub against your legs and be petted. He wants to be wherever YOU are! His foster home has 2 adult cats and he gets along with them very well. His last home he also got along with the other adult cat in the home. Buddy is curious and loves to sit and stare out the window. He LOVES Catnip and his favorite treats are Catnip Temptations! As a matter of fact, his favorite toys are filled with Catnip too! Buddy is a Good-Natured fellow who prefers to keep his space clean, including no bad litter box habits. This Handsome, Affectionate boy will be a great addition to a new family, and hopefully find the forever family that he deserves! Buddy is currently in a foster home. If you feel like he would be the perfect fit for your family, please consider visiting shelbycats.com/adopt to begin the application process!

Story
Meet Spock, a kitten with a heart full of love and a spirit of independence. Unique in his own way, Spock got his name because he's missing a toe on his right front paw, but this doesn't stop him from enjoying life. His playful nature makes every day an adventure, turning ordinary objects into exciting toys. But don't let his rambunctious side fool you, Spock is also incredibly affectionate and easygoing. His sweet demeanor will win you over in a heartbeat, making him the ultimate love bug. He loves to curl up in a warm lap for a nap after a day of exploration. Spock has a medium energy level, perfect for those seeking a balanced companion. He's chatty, often 'telling' everyone about his latest adventures in the most endearing way. This cuddly little fellow is known for his curiosity, always on the prowl for new experiences and discoveries. He's had the chance to camp with his foster family, and he's proven to be an excellent companion. His adventurous spirit, coupled with his affectionate nature, makes Spock the perfect companion for anyone looking for a lifelong friend. His engaging personality and loving nature make him an ideal choice for those seeking a pet who will provide both entertainment and companionship.
