Story
We LOVE Fauna. She is SUCH a good girl and seeing her, hanging out with her, being near her, is the highlight of our day. And! She has a sponsored adoption fee to an approved applicant! She is totally gorgeous but her personality outshines her natural beauty! She chirps to greet you when you walk in to see her. If you have time to sit with her, she'll climb on up and curl up for the closest snuggles on your chest. Fauna will soak up and solicit every ounce of attention and affection that she can...clearly! Her only request: to be the only furbaby in your home. That is it! She's done great with respectful kiddos and is just waiting for her very own family. She is about four years old and is spayed💗

Not good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi new friends! I'm Celeste! I'm a little younger than around three years old and I'm spayed. I spent time in a foster home raising my babies, who have all been adopted, and my foster mom would tell you that I was so gentle, kind, calm, and trusting immediately. My human friends at the shelter will tell you the same thing. I'm a complete lovebug. I love food. So much. Treats. Churus. Catnip. Anything. You have my undivided attention if you have food! I also like to play with toys on strings. Exploring is another one of my fave things to do. I'm an active, on-the-go girl so if you have lots of windows for me to stare out, I really think that I would enjoy watching all the fun sights during the day. Do you have kiddos who want a fun fursister?! Pick me! I think we would have so much fun together. I'd prefer to have all of your love, affection, and attention focused on me so could I please be the only furbaby in the home? My personality is large enough to fill the whole house! And oh yeah! Please ask to see me when you get to MHS. Love, Celeste.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
"Meet the new super-chill adoptable Bessie! This lovely lady has really come a long way. She has become so much more comfortable and so much more trusting in just a few short weeks! She seeks out affection and soaks in all the chin and ear scratches she can get. She loves to play and chase jingle balls and will bring a ball to you to toss so she can take off running. And have I told you how soft she is?! And this lady loves her treats! A lap cat she is not, but she’s perfectly content to curl up in a blanket or lay near a window to soak up the sun. This beautiful lady is funny, smart, playful, and is pretty silly. Mornings are her favorite. She gets the goofies and chases any toy she can find across the dining room and kitchen at Indy 500 sorts of speeds! Bessie also loves treats; it’s a sure-fire way to win her over!" -Bessie's foster mom. Since Bessie is FIV+, other kitties in the home should either be friendly, healthy, and UTD on vaccines or also FIV+. A slow introduction is always beneficial to building a good relationship! Please email us at pets@michianapets.org if you would like to adopt Bessie!

Story
We couldn't be more head-over-heels for Socrates if we tried. His chubby cheeks, his refined personality, his unique meows, and his ever so intentional biscuit-making paws legit have us obsessed. When you stop by his kennel to say hello, you'll find him snoozing the day away, most likely. But as soon as he sees you, he perks up and politely invites you to pet him because he is the true definition of a gentleman. Socrates doesn't want you to stop petting him. There are some kitties who are very over-dramatic about pets and chin scratches. Socrates is more mellow and slow-moving but he sure lets you know how much he loves love. His purrs are so, so soft and sweet. Since Socrates is FIV+, other kitties in the home should either be friendly, healthy, and UTD on vaccines or also FIV+. A slow introduction is always beneficial to building a good relationship! He is about seven years old and is neutered. You won't find a sweeter boy to adopt.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Love, love, and more love is all Olympia wants. She enjoys playing and trying to catch toys but the more time we spend with her, the more we understand that she just wants company and for someone to be with her, pet her, tell her she is pretty. Olympia will nuzzle into your hand if you aren't petting her sufficiently. She loves chin scratches and is eager to hop out of her kennel to explore and snoop around. She is a very social and playful girl! Talk about an entertaining good girl! She'd love to be the apple of your eye as the only kitty in the home. Please come meet our beautiful, lovely Olympia. She is about one year old and is spayed.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Our hearts melt when we are with Torri. She has the most adorably precious personality and we're obsessed. When you come to meet her, she may be nervous initially or even appearing to where she doesn't want to interact, but just wait! We promise -- she actually DOES want to interact and just needs an extra minute. Because once you start petting Torri, she comes out of her hidey bed and asks you to spend the entire rest of your day with her. She'll roll over and nuzzle into your hand and will make the sweetest biscuits ever. Torri is a quiet gal but once she has settled, she takes being loving to a whole new level. Again. A total darling that we are head over heels for. An easy-going home setting would probably be the best fit for her. We think she would do best without other kitty friends in her new home. You're going to adore Torri. We promise! She is about one year old and is spayed. Please email us at pets@michianapets.org if you would like to adopt Torri. We will send you an application!
