Story
Little Bit is a handsome 6 year old orange tabby. He was rescued as a sickly kitten by his original owner who recently passed away. Little Bit is now healthy, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. Little Bit is missing most of his teeth, including his front teeth, which means the tip of his tongue is frequently out (a rather endearing look, if you ask us). Little Bit loves all people, but not all other animals; he’d prefer to be an only-pet. Thank you for your interest in adopting from HMF.  All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and otherwise healthy, unless noted in the description.  Our adoption area is within 50 miles of Franklin/Bargersville, IN. Email hopemariesfund@gmail.com with any questions. October 27, 2024, 12:57 pm

Story
Hi! I’m Nelson! I’m a sweet four year old male and I love to talk. I was found as a stray but know I’m in good hands now. When you first meet me, I may be a little shy. But, once I get to know you, I’ll purr. I’m up-to-date on everything and neutered. I’m fine with being around other cats, but would probably do best in a home that has older kids and calm dogs. If you would like to meet me, please contact Hope Marie’s Fund for more information. Thank you for your interest in adopting from HMF.  All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and otherwise healthy, unless noted in the description.  Our adoption area is within 50 miles of Franklin/Bargersville, IN. Story
Parker is a former feral who can be a little bit of a shy guy but he's the sweetest with time and patience. When you first meet him, his instinct is to run away but give him just a little time and he will turn into a giant love bug. Because of Parker's more tentative nature, he would do best in a quiet, calm home where he can slowly open up. He will need an experienced cat owner, another cat in the home, and no children.

Story
Hi there, my name is Catterlee and it's good to "meet" you. I know there are thousands of cats available for adoption right meow and you're probably wondering why I think you should adopt me. Basically, I'm just a really cool cat. I can be a little shy when we first meet but who isn't? It's weird and nerve wracking meeting someone for the first time, especially when you're looking at a lifelong commitment, right? Once we get acquainted you'll quickly find that I'm the kind of girl you can sit on the couch and eat pizza with (or you'll eat and I'll try to steal), I'll help you with any kind of computer work, and we can play for however long you'd like because I LOVE to play. At the end of the day we could cuddle up in bed and remember why today was the best day ever, even if it really didn't seem like it because I promise I'll do my best to make the every day the best day of your life for the rest of mine. That's just what best friends do. I do need an age appropriate feline in the home so if you don't have one, we can do a double adoption!

Story
Shoshonne is a quiet, calm girl who loves to be around people whenever she has the chance. We often find her lounging quietly with the other cats or hanging out on the cat tree just waiting for the opportunity to be noticed by someone with hands to pet her. Her calmness is relaxing and welcoming after a long day. She longs for a home that will appreciate these aspects of her personality and treasure her for them. Shoshonne's forever home includes humans to pet her and another cat as a buddy to hang out with and sometimes play with.

Story
This is Scotch and she is very no nonsense, straight to the point kind of gal so this is specifically what she wanted listed: Favorite snack: wet food of any kind. She was a trash panda in a previous life and has no qualms with eating like one. Favorite pastime: judging everyone and everything. You, the weather, big spoons, the AARP...you name it, she'll judge it. Favorite podcast: The Judgies. See above response for context. Dream job: Taste tester. What will she taste test? Hands, wet food, arms, treats, any body part that's nearby if you have the complete audacity to "f*** around and find out.. Scotch is very spirited and generally pretty sweet until you cross her boundaries. She gives very clear indications when she's annoyed and about to enter slash/bite mode and anything after that is on you. She doesn't like other cats but could live with another laid back cat if she has room to hang out away from them and they're not getting in her face. However, we feel she could really benefit from being an only. No kids or no dogs, she will bite them with the few teeth she has left. She wants a home were she is given free rein to be herself and do what it is she does. Scotch is about 5ish years old, spayed, UTD on all core vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and on monthly flea prevention. She has had a couple of dentals and just has her front teeth. She can eat dry food but prefers wet. Her adoption fee is $75 and you can find her application here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application *Gentle reminder not to call for questions. Instead message us here or email us at tnr@jcccats.org*

Story
Oliver is about 18 months old. He is all black in color. He was a stray that we took in back in November 2023. He definitely has lots of energy and is very curious. He is very sweet and loving. He will cuddle you and give you kisses. Unfortunately we have had some issues with behavior and they don’t seem to be getting better. Since I have a small child and am pregnant with my second, I am starting to worry about these issues. I don’t think Oliver will do well with a newborn in the home. I think ideally he would do much better in a home with no small children. He has made our family so happy this past year but we’ve come to the conclusion that he would be happier with another family who can devote more of their time to him and give him the attention he needs/deserves. My health is also declining and it is becoming a lot harder to keep up with his energy. We want to make sure he goes to someone who will take very good care of him and love him. That’s important to us.

Story
Say hello to Buddy! Easygoing and Friendly are two words that perfectly describe him. Back in 2019, Buddy was fostered by his current foster mom. He was surrendered back to AOSC through no fault of his own and was adopted. No fault of his own was surrendered a second time in 2024-- he would love to find his FUREVER home. His foster mom has this to say about him: "Before coming back to me as a foster, Buddy was up for adoption at an adoption center, but was terrified at that particular adoption location. As soon as I brought him home, he has been nothing but sweet and affectionate! It has been fun fostering a previous foster of mine! Buddy loves human attention and loves to rub against your legs and be petted. He wants to be wherever YOU are! His foster home has 2 adult cats and he gets along with them very well. His last home he also got along with the other adult cat in the home. Buddy is curious and loves to sit and stare out the window. He LOVES Catnip and his favorite treats are Catnip Temptations! As a matter of fact, his favorite toys are filled with Catnip too! Buddy is a Good-Natured fellow who prefers to keep his space clean, including no bad litter box habits. This Handsome, Affectionate boy will be a great addition to a new family, and hopefully find the forever family that he deserves! Buddy is currently in a foster home. If you feel like he would be the perfect fit for your family, please consider visiting shelbycats.com/adopt to begin the application process!
