Story
Hi! Meet Oreo! We rescued her from a shelter 7+ years ago, so we aren’t sure of her exact age. All of her claws have been removed, so we don’t know how she will do around other cats, but she does just fine with our 5 year old male golden retriever. She is also missing most of her teeth. She has a few in there, and she still eats dry food, but she loves a daily serving of wet food too. She is a sweetheart and loves to lay in the sun, look out the window, get belly rubs and more. We’d love to find a good home for her. Thanks for considering Oreo!

Story
Sunshine is a gorgeous female adult kitty who was originally found as a stray. A wonderful person took Sunshine in and fostered her for Misty Eyes until she was adopted. Unfortunately, the adopter ran into some hard times and had to return Sunshine to us. She really likes people and willingly checks out visitors to her home. She is a girl who likes her personal space at times, and doesn`t hesitate to let you know when she wants to be left alone. For that reason, she would do best in a home with older children who can understand her signals. She is not fond of other animals -- she wants all the love and attention for herself -- so will need to be an only furkid. She has great house manners and can be a cuddle-cat when she`s in the mood! If you`d like to meet Sunshine, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Clyde is a 6-year-old orange-and-white male kitty. He and his partner, Bonnie, and were surrendered to Misty Eyes by their original owner because of post-Covid allergies. They were quickly adopted together, but, sadly, their owner passed away, and the family could not keep them. It has been a sad and confusing couple of years for these lovely cats. Clyde is a friendly, outgoing kitty, and he does enjoy sleeping and cuddling with his foster mom. Because they`ve always been together, it would be wonderful if Bonnie and Clyde could be adopted together. If you`d like more information, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Bonnie is a 6-year-old buff-and-white female kitty. She and her partner, Clyde, and were surrendered to Misty Eyes by their original owner because of post-Covid allergies. They were quickly adopted together, but, sadly, their owner passed away, and the family could not keep them. It has been a sad and confusing couple of years for these lovely cats. Bonnie remains rather shy, although she does enjoy sleeping and cuddling with her foster mom. She will need some time to feel that she`s safe and secure once again. Because they`ve always been together, it would be wonderful if Bonnie and Clyde could be adopted together. Story
Hello! My name is Bella. I`m a Tortie female kitty who came to Misty Eyes originally as a tiny kitten with my mom and siblings. Because I was adorable, I was adopted as soon as I was old enough. Unfortunately, life happens, and I`m now back at Misty Eyes hoping, once again, to find a forever home. If you`d like to meet me, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Hope is a pretty calico girl who was surrendered to Misty Eyes due to her owner`s allergies. She is a friendly, playful kitty who will make a great companion. She has good litterbox manners, is playful and enjoys a cat tree with a scratching post. She is living with other cats in her foster home, but would be happiest as the only kitty! She doesn`t `show` well initially because she gets very stressed in new places. After about 24 hours, though, she is friendly and affectionate -- on her terms. She is not a lap kitty and doesn`t enjoy being held, but she may lay beside her person and enjoy a chin scratch or two. If you`d like to know more about Hope, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Juju was surrendered to Misty Eyes after her owner passed away, and the family would not care for her. She is not a lap cat, but is nighttime snuggler. She does take some time to get used to new people and surroundings. She will pick a safe place where she can go when she feels insecure. She would prefer to be the only cat in the home and, with patience, is a sweet, loving companion. She has great litterbox habits, uses her scratching post rather than the furniture and enjoys a cat tree near a window. Juju does take daily thyroid medication, which is relatively inexpensive. If you`d like to know more about Juju, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.
