Story
💎 Zarah 💎Introducing the stunning Zarah! She is estimated to be around 1.5 years old and is part Siamese. Zarah does have the typical Siamese attitude at times but LOVES scratches behind the ears and just melts to the ground purring. She does not sharpen her claws on furniture as long as she is provided adequate scratching posts and is litter box trained. A covered litter box works best for Zarah. She is not a fan of dogs and would be best with no young children. Zarah is fixed, up to date on vaccines and FLV/FIV negative. If you are interested in adopting Zarah please visit our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application. When applying, please answer each question completely and honestly. Only complete applications will be considered. Thank you for considering adopting!https://www.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-appwww.pawsofadamscounty.com

Story
Javi is a good fit for any home. He is the dream kitty, he naps, eats and snuggles. His age is unknown, my guess 7-10 years old and is a big boy. He is not fond of being picked up. But you cannot pet him enough. I've never seen him be anything but sweet to a human. He would be great with an older person or do well with children because he is so laid back. Being a house cat is his only wish. He is such a sweet boy and knows if he gets on the couch he has to be on his blanket. As you can see in the pictures, he has no problem following house rules. He is that eternally grateful cat that had a hard life out on his own and is now happy to live inside. Javi is a gentleman. And it would be great if there was another cat as he bonds well with others and seems to enjoy the company. Last pic is him and a kitten that bonded.

Story
Meet Leo!Born in rescue around the time of the Eclipse, this sweet and lovable boy was named after the stars. Leo is a funny, affectionate kitty who loves attention—though he might be a little shy at first. Once he warms up, he’s all about cuddles, flopping onto his back and wiggling around to keep your focus on him. He’s quick to jump into your lap and will happily rub his whole body against you for extra love!Leo is also a curious little helper who likes to "assist" with chores, even if his version of helping is mostly supervision. He gets along well with other kitties and does fine with the dogs in his foster home, though he is selective about new dogs. He would likely do best with small, calm pups, given time and a safe space to observe them from above. This charming boy is microchipped, fully vetted, and ready to find his forever home! If you're looking for a snuggly, playful companion, Leo is your guy. https://www.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-appwww.pawsofadamscounty.com

Story
Meet Orion!Born in rescue around the time of the Eclipse, this sweet and funny boy was named after the stars. Orion is a loving and affectionate kitty who quickly warms up to new people. He adores attention and isn’t shy about asking for it—once you sit down, he’ll be right there to soak up all the love! He is the gentle one of them all, typically not bothered by much. This tuxedo boy has some pretty unique markings and what a charmer he is.Orion gets along well with other cats and is dog-selective. While he does fine with the dogs in his foster home, he can be picky about new canine friends, puffing up like a puffer fish lol. He would likely do best with small, calm dogs, given time, space, and a high-up perch to observe them from until he is comfortable. This charming boy is microchipped, fully vetted, and ready to find his forever home! If you’re looking for a cuddly, playful companion, Orion is the perfect match.Adoption apps can be found on our website at https://www.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-appwww.pawsofadamscounty.com

Story
Soot came in as a tiny feral kitten. She is finally realizing that people petting her feels GOOOOOD!!! She's still very skittish at times, though, especially when she's on the floor, so would be best in a quiet, patient home without loud or very active children or dogs.Soot has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms. She is negative for FeLV but positive for FIV. This should not hurt her as long as she is well cared for, and she should live a long life. Her adoption fee is $75.If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application.
