Story
Scoochers' foster reports that she is one of the sweetest cats! She has never hissed or swatted and she does well with both dogs and cats. She plays a little with other kitties, but she can be very independent as well. She has recently discovered that being petted is pretty awesome. Treats were a big help with realizing this. At times she has the tendency to run away, but with patience, treats, and sweet little talks she will come around to pets and sweet little moments of conversation. She also has the prettiest green eyes, the softest coat imaginable and cute little white socks. It is important to say this again, Scoochers is really the sweetest kitty!!! If you have experience with scared cats and want to help this girl out please let us know.

Story
Celeste's foster has the following to say about this shy gal: She is hiding most of the day, but comes out in the night - a bit of a “vampire” I say. She loves to stick herself into very small places (behind the washer, under a pillow, behind the tv stand, behind the toilet, etc.) Happily, she has warmed up over the past few weeks: playing, sniffing anything and everything, being held a bit, jumping on surfaces, and many many pets. She is such a sweet kitty that needs more experience to explore the world around her. Once she gets out of her shell, I can imagine her to be a great cuddler and wonderful pet for a quiet home.

Rocky is a very good dude who loves his people. He's not into hangs with other cats or dogs and we totally get it. He loves to play fetch and with all of the toys. When not playing, he's a big fan of watchig the outside world and watching over his kingdom. He's into snuggles on his own terms. If you're looking to give your attention to one very excellent cat, apply to meet Rocky today! Rocky's adoption fee has been waived since he's been with us for a bit.

Story
Archer is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Archer has lived with two dogs for most of his time in Bloomington. He's not very interested engaging with them and prefers to have his own space in the home. His favorite activities are laying in the sun and spending time on his catio. I think he would be a good indoor/outdoor cat. He loves attention when he's ready to receive it - he nuzzles your hand when he's ready! He's has not been around children, but I have had house guests. It takes him a couple hours to warm up to new folks. He is good with his litterbox. If you are interested in Archer, PLEASE EMAIL daviburt@outlook.com. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Story
Princess Honey is a sometimes grumpy lady, but she definitely does like the company of others. She tolerates dogs and other cats. But, there are moments where she will join in the fun of play from a distance. That’s because Princess Honey has a Princess Honey bubble around her that she will break when she is in the mood. When this happens she will take the time to cuddle on a lap or sit behind you on a couch. Her couch move is her best because she really does like to be a part of the group, just on her terms. I think having a family that just lets her be her is her biggest dream, and she will love your family forever.
