Ruby & RyanRuby - Domestic Shorthair, Born May 2023, Tortie Tabby, Spayed FemaleRyan - Domestic Shorthair, Born May 2023, Orange & White Tabby, Neutered Male   Hi, I’m Ryan! Ruby and I have been searching for our forever home for over 300 days, and we're hoping today is the day we find it! Ruby is a sweet, budding lap cat with a heart full of potential. She’s learning to enjoy cuddle time and shows her affection through playful antics. She loves lounging in our former foster mom’s lap, giving you a sneak peek at the loving companion she’s destined to be! As for me, I’m a clever and spirited kitty with a curious nature. I love exploring, testing my boundaries, and engaging in clicker training and treat puzzles. I thrive on learning new things and keep life interesting with my adventurous spirit. Both Ruby and I are smart and eager to learn. We adore other cats and would likely get along well with dogs too! What we need most is a patient person or family who will give us the time and space to grow into our full potential. While we might show some uncertainty at first (we might swat if we’re scared), our affectionate sides will shine through as we settle into a loving home. If you’re ready to offer us understanding and patience, Ruby and I could be the perfect additions to your family. With the right support, we have the potential to become wonderful companions. We’d love for you to meet us and see if you’re the special person we’ve been waiting for! Ryan and I are a bonded pair and must be adopted together! Adoption Information:  Children: No   Cats: Yes, with proper introduction  Dogs: Unknown  Adoption Fee: $200 for the pair  They are microchipped, spayed, and have had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines.  To get more info please fill out our online adoption survey. Surveys are responded to in order, so don't miss out! carenorthshore.org/cat-adoption-survey November 5, 2024, 1:50 pm

Salem & JijiSalem - Domestic Shorthair, Born February 2024, Brown Tabby w/White, Neutered MaleJiji - Domestic Shorthair, Born February 2024, Brown Tabby w/White, Spayed FemaleHellooo! I am Salem, my sister is Jiji, and together we are the purrfect combination of charm and mischief that you’ve been looking for!  On most days, when I'm not busy engaging in epic play battles with Jiji, you'll probably find me curled up in my foster mom's lap.  Now Jiji’s another story ~ she's a real pro at the art of the laser chase!  It's her absolute favorite game, and she'll happily chase that elusive red dot for hours ~ and hours ~ and hours. No resting for that girl. But be forewarned, Jiji and I have our own unique quirks, too.  Mine? I have a habit of following humans around like a furry little shadow and sometimes I get so caught up in the excitement of it all that I end up tangled in your feet ~ sorry!  Jiji’s?  She can come off as a bit shy at first, but trust me, don’t let that fool you.  Once she decides she wants some attention, she asks for it in the most adorable ways possible! So if you're looking for a feline pair who are equal parts playful and cuddly, look no further ~ we have a penchant for mischief and hearts as warm as sunbeams.  I'll take the prime spot in your lap, while Jiji can have the sofa, and together, we'll bring double the love and double the laughter into your home ~ furever.  Jiji and I are a bonded pair and must be adopted together! Chloe and SophiaDomestic Shorthair, Born in March 2024, Tortoiseshell, Female Surprise, surprise!  Can’t believe your eyes?  Well, it’s us ~ Chloe & Sophia ~ and yes, we do look an awful lot alike, but it’s easy to tell us apart once we tell you the secret:  I’m Chloe and I’m the one with the sexy blonde streak over my right eye, and my sister, Sophia, she has blonde toes ~ sooo cute!!!   But we have our own purrsonalities, too.  So once you get to know us, telling us apart will be easy-peasy. Being sisters, we definitely like to do girly things, but since we grew up with two brothers, we can rough and tumble with the best of them, too.  So if you’re looking for high energy, look no more.  We are always on the go ~ chasing paper balls, playing in cardboard boxes, chasing stuffed mice and climbing to the top of the cat tree.   And best of all, we go to homeschool! Our foster mom is helping us learn the basics of good kitten etiquette ~ things like no roughhousing, no biting, no scratching the furniture, blah, blah, blah ~ and we’ve promised to practice until we get it purrfect.  We hope you’ll come see us soon so we can show you everything we’ve learned! Adoption Information: Sophia and I are a bonded pair and must be adopted together! Zoe and Warby Zoe: Domestic Shorthair, Born in April 2024, Black & White, Female  Warby: Domestic Shorthair, Born in April, Black, FemalePssst ~ hi, it’s me, Zoe!  I’m whispering because I’m a very timid little girl and I didn’t want to call too much attention to myself.  Believe it or not, I’m in charge of finding a purrfect and furever home for me and my sister, Warby.  We’re living in a super foster home with our birth mom and three brothers right now, but these boys are getting way too big and boisterous, and it’s time for us girls to have our own space.  Our brothers like to spend their time wrestling and roughhousing but Warby and I are into all things girly ~ like having tea paw-ties with our favorite stuffed toys!Together, we dream about the day we find a patient, loving family who understands our gentle hearts and can offer us the comfort and security we crave.  In return, we promise the joy of watching us grow into the confident felines we are meant to be.  So, if you are ready to open your heart and home to a pair of sweet (and petite!) sisters who adore each other and are looking for their fairy-tale ending, we’d love to meet you so that we can create our happily ever after together! Adoption Information: Zoe and Warby are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Story
Marella Domestic Shorthair, Born in August 2023, Brown Tabby, Spayed female  Greetings, human friends! My name is Marella, and I’m a stunning brown tabby with a heart full of love and a personality that’s as warm as my cozy fur. I was rescued through a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, and now I'm on the hunt for my forever home where I can truly shine!   Picture this: a lap cat who will melt your heart with gentle purrs and soft headbutts. I adore cuddling and soaking up pets, but I also know when to give you a break—after all, even the sweetest tabby needs some me-time!   When I’m not snuggled up or basking in your affection, I’ve got a playful side that loves to come out and explore. I’m curious and enjoy discovering new toys and adventures. Though I’m calm and gentle, my playful streak is sure to bring a smile to your face!   I might prefer to be the only feline royalty in my new kingdom, as I’ve been a bit apprehensive around my fellow feline neighbors. But don’t let that deter you—I promise to shower you with all the attention and love you could ever need.   So, if you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion who knows how to balance cuddles with playful antics, then I’m your gal! Let’s create a home full of love, laughter, and purrs. Come meet me and let’s make some magical memories together!   Adoption Information:  Children: Yes Cats: May prefer to be the only cat Dogs: Unknown  Adoption Fee: $150  This cat is microchipped, spayed, and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. Story
Matilda came to us from the streets of Texas. A state where there are so many homeless cats that they are usually euthanized upon intake. We are working tirelessly with our Rescue Partners to help with this horrible situation. Matilda is one of the lucky ones. Please help us help them by adopting one of these precious kittys. According to their foster family: `Matilda is a one a half year old tabby that enjoys hug and cuddles. She was very skittish when we got her 8 months ago but now she will curl in your lap and take a nap. She’s very gentle and sweet. We like seeing her run fast from one end of the room to the other`.---------------------------------------------------------------------------THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SAVING A LIFE!Volunteers and staff are excited to assist you in the adoption process!
