Story
Rebel is a beautiful 4.5-year-old cat- white with patches of brown tabby. She is very sweet and loves to be pet but isn't fond of being picked up and held. Rebel knows her name, and if she isn't fast asleep, will give a chirp or come running when she hears it! She does get nervous during storms and has a spot in one of the hallways she stays tucked in during them. She also loves playing with her toys, especially anything on a string or with feathers. She'd make a wonderful addition to any loving home. Rebel would do best as an only cat. She has met a few dogs that were curious but respectful and didn't mind them very much.Rebel has been diagnosed with asthma. She takes a puff of her inhaler twice daily and does very well with it! She will need a family willing to continue this treatment.Rebel's adoption fee has been kindly sponsored by a wonderful donor!

Story
Fozzie Bear has the best, most chubby cheeks in our cat room. This FIV+ boy is super chill and would love to lounge around your house. He is 7 years old. Fozzie also enjoys following staff around for pets. He loves to nuzzle your face with his head. Fozzie is one of the few cats that doesn’t mind being held! He will happily cuddle when picked up. He is very laidback and would make a great buddy to watch TV with. Fozzie is looking for a home without cats or dogs.-Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is spread to other cats through deep-muscular bite wounds or sometimes in utero. It is not contagious to dogs or humans. Cat friendly cats with FIV can live with other cats who are negative for FIV as long as both are friendly. It is crucial that FIV cats remain indoors only and are kept up to date on vaccines. Most FIV+ cats can live normal lives.

Story
Remus is a charming guy looking for a loving home to call his own. He is around 4.5 years old and 13lbs. He's sweet and curious- he enjoys exploring the cat room with his friend Prof. Moody. He is often found curled up in a comfy bed by the windows taking naps or begging for wet food by the door. Moody and Remus are a bonded pair and looking for a home together. They are often found cuddling one another or playing together. Remus is the braver of the two and enjoys gentle pets.-Professor Moody, known casually as Moody, is not only extraordinarily cute, but he's also super soft! He is a bit shyer than his counterpart, Remus, but is very curious and with a patient adopter would blossom. Moody would love a comfy bed and a loving home to call his own. Can you help him out? He and his bestie Remus are looking for a home together as they are a bonded pair. They are often found cuddling, playing, and getting a bite to eat with each other.Their adoption fees have been sponsored!

Story
Carmen is another beautiful brown tabby that came from animal control. She is very nervous with people, but enjoys the company of other cats! She will need time and patience in a quiet home. She enjoys playing with toys and munching on temptations. She likes to find beds where she has a nice view of the room. She's made lots of progress already and we know someone out there has the time and love to give to her.We are hoping to find her a home with someone who is experienced with nervous/under socialized cats or someone who is dedicated and committed to learning. Because of her weariness of people, we think it would be highly beneficial for her to go home with another cat or to a home with an established cat friendly cat.

Story
Salsa is ready to find his forever home! He has officially been in SAYv care for longer than ANY OTHER ANIMAL! :( Do you like your salsa mild? Spicy? Somewhere in the middle? Well... Salsa is a mild salsa. Salsa is a quirky cat that loves to rub your legs when you're feeding him or greet you to say hello. He's a bit timid with fast movements but overall a great cat. Salsa isn't the biggest fan of human interaction unless it's on his terms but we think that would change in a home of his own with just one other kitty friend that wouldn't mind cuddling (he loves to cuddle with his foster siblings). He will occasionally hop onto the couch to say hi, rub your legs and meow at you for food, AND he will let you pick him up. He's treat and catnip CRAZY as his photos show. His favorite place is on the cat towers in his foster's sun room where he reminisces about his previous life. Salsa would do best in a home with another cat but would be okay as a solo kitty too and with a patient owner who understands that trust is earned and that he asks for attention when he wants it. He has been introduced to dogs and does okay with them but we would say he doesn't really "like" them but will tolerate them and co-exist fine. Salsa would love a home where he can lay on a cat tower and watch the birds, an adopter that will play with a laser pointer, give him tons of treats, catnip and feed him all the delicious yummy food he could want. He truly is a wonderful cat with some quirks. We know the right person is out there for this guy! To learn more or apply to adopt Salsa visit www.sayvanimals.org/adopt

Story
Meet Canola, a sweet kitty who is looking for her forever home with her sister, Honey! Canola is a resilient and determined little soul. This sweet girl and her sister, came from a hoarding house that tragically caught fire, leaving behind chaos and destruction. Amidst the chaos, SAYv Animal Organization found these sweet girls and welcomed them into our care. Canola has been through a traumatic experience, and as a result, it does take her a little time to warm up in new environments. This sweet girl has made HUGE strides in not just trusting, but LOVING people. Once shy and hiding when someone came in the room, this girl has discovered that getting pets is awesome, and she will run up to you for them every time you enter the room. Canola is a silly girl, who loves chasing around a laser pointer or playing with any tiny object she can find - whether that be a cat toy or even a child's toy. Her foster mom jokes that she finds Canola's "treasures" every morning, left as gifts at the foot of the stairs. Canola also loves her sister, Honey, very much. They lean on each other for support if they're scared and they LOVE to play and nap together. Patience and understanding will be key in helping Canola adjust to her new life, but we're confident that with the right home, we know this girl and her sister will make excellent companions to a variety of families. She is currently living in a foster home with young children, and while not eager to play with them, she does enjoy sitting and watching them from across the room, curious about what they're doing. Her journey to recovery and trust is ongoing, but she deserves nothing less than an incredible forever home. If you have the capacity to open your heart and home to these remarkable survivors, and the time and patience to let them flourish, you have found the best kitties ever. Are you ready to make Canola and Honey a part of your family? Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Introducing Honey (estimated Date of Birth 3.22.22), a resilient and beautiful girl who has overcome a difficult past. Honey was rescued from a hoarding house that tragically burned down, leaving behind 43 cats and 48 dogs. Thankfully, we were able to provide a helping hand to some of these precious animals, including Honey. Although her early days were filled with hardships, Honey is now healthy and ready to embark on a new journey to find her forever home. Due to untreated ear mites, she has crinkly ears, which only add to her unique and endearing charm, but shouldn't pose any issues for her in the future. Honey is a curious and playful girl. Once she settles into a place, Honey is the first one to greet you when you come in to their room. Every day she learns more and more that people are friends and that getting pets is nice! She loves to rub on your legs and is "chatty," offering lots of chirps and sweet meows while you give her affection. She also loves spending time playing and cuddling up with her sister, Canola. These two girls have been through a lot, and they find a lot of comfort in each other, which is why we are recommending they be adopted together. While they may need some time to adjust to their new surroundings, we are confident that these resilient girls will blossom into sweet and loving additions to your family when given the patience they so deserve. We believe Honey and Canola would do well in a variety of homes. They are very used to living with plenty of cats and dogs and they likely will feel the most comfortable with other furry companions to keep them company. While they are on the shy side, and need time to settle in, they do currently live in a foster home with children and have handled interactions with young, boisterous kids without any issue. If you are looking for a furry friend (or 2!) who have triumphed over adversity, Honey and her sister Canola could be the perfect match for you. Are you ready to make Honey and Canola a part of your family?
