Story
Cali is almost 4 years old and loves to cuddle! She is beautiful and very sweet. Cali made a fantastic mother for her 4 kittens and since they have grown up she has calmed down a lot. She is very docile and would be great for anyone looking for a sweet companion and lap-cat. She currently lives with 3 other cats and would fit well into a home with other cats but she would also be fine being an only-cat. Cali is good with kids, but is not overly playful but loves the attention she gets from kids. Unfortunately, Cali is very afraid of dogs so she is looking for a cat-only home.

Story
Hi, my name is Po, and I am 1 years old. Thank you for reading my rescue story. Pull up a chair and I'll tell you my short story.I was born on someone's porch and the nice family took care of me, my siblings and Mama until we were big enough to be separated from our mom.I went into a foster home where I learned to live with other cats and Humans. Boy, my foster Humans take good care of me. They know how to make me happy - kitty treats!I am a short haired kitty girl with a grey tail, and I have some grey spots on my head. I look like my mom and I think I got my Mamas bravery. I'm a friendly kitty and I like when people come over as I get to know them. I might seem shy at first, but I will sneak my way onto your lap. I hope when we meet you give me the chance to get to know you as I might seem shy at first. I like to be petted, have my pretty coat brushed and of course, don't forget those treats!I like to lounge in a window seat, snuggle with my sibling or even with my foster familys cats. You might see inmy pictures I am quite photogenic, and my sister is with me in some of them. You might see some of my pictures with my sister Thumper. I love my sister and of course, the other kitties that live here in my foster home. There's times we just have a big kitty pile and groom each other. When you come over to my foster home and you will see me & Thumper being BFS - best furry sisters. Maybe you would think of adopting us both but if not, that's ok too. I just hope I have another kitty friend in my new home to help me with my transistion.Hope to meet you!PoPo is located in our foster home in Hanover Park. Story
Hello, my name is Gaia, and I am about year old. I'm a pretty young Tuxedo girl that loves to be around people. I'm a quiet girl that will hang out by you or on your lap. I like it when my foster Mom hangs out on the couch because I know it's cuddle time. I sit on her lap or on the arm of the couch. She brushes my fur and tells me nice stories of my forever family that is waiting to meet me.I'm in a foster home that has other cats and dogs. I don't mind the dogs. There are some that bark or chase me and I just stay out of their way. But I am curious about their food. At nighttime, I sleep in my foster Mom's bed with her dog and another Tuxedo kitty. Sometimes my foster Mom can't tell us apart so that's why I wear a pretty bow on my collar.During the day I hang outin a cat tree or look out a window. But my favorite spot is where my foster Mom is. I love it when she's on the computer and I lie by her. She gives me an occasional belly rub. But watch out! I like to sit on the keyboard. Maybe I'm sending a message to you?I also love to enjoy your food. I love food but I'm not aggressive with the other cats for food. I share my food and treats because I know when it's my turn I have all the food I want. I like to share the mealtime with my foster Mom. She knows I love chicken but might seem silly, but I also love butter. Butter on toast or bagel - kitty de-li-cious!I can't wait for my family to come meet me. I love to be held and if you have kitty treats - I'm hooked! Remember chicken is my favorite.Let's have a play date so we can start our friendship! Thanks,GaiaGaia is in our foster home in Aurora. Story
Hi there! My name is Goldie and I am about a year old. I'm a pretty orange/buff kitty and I'm on the small side. I would call myself dainty but I am full of personality!Do you see my pictures? I'm lounging around in a Human's bed. That's my foster Mom's bed. I'm so lucky to have a foster Mom to make me so comfy because see, a bit ago I wasn't so comfy! A few months ago somoene put me in a box along with my minutes old kitties and left on someone's doorstep. That person reached out to Treasured Animal Rescue. It was Hollywood's Oscar night - that's where I got my name.I was a good Mama to my 4 babies and they have all found their new homes. Now it's my turn. While I wait for my family to come meet me I hang out with the other cats on a bed or kitty tree. Sometimes I even will cuddle up with one of the dogs. He doesn't mind me cuddling with him. I like to play or chase the other cats. Do you have area rugs? If so, that's one of my favorite things to play with - I like to run & slide onto the rugs. Silly, huh?My days of being a Mama are all over. I'm on the small side so I'm still young at heart and just a baby myself when I had babies. It's Goldie's turn for a family. A family that will take good care of me and love me forever. I will make you really happy when I try to get you to play with me or when I head butt you for attention.xoxo,GoldieGoldie is in our foster home in Aurora. Story
Bug and Meadow are an inseparable duo, bringing double the love and double the fun! These two sweethearts are not just companions, but best friends, and they’re looking for a loving home where they can stay together. Bug is a handsome, larger cat around 3 years old, full of energy and affection. He’s not just about playtime (though he does love chasing after toys and showing off his jumps); he’s also a big snuggler. He adores being held, and he’ll happily settle into the crook of your arm while you watch TV. He’s a smart boy too, knowing a few tricks like sitting on command and guessing which hand holds the treat. These besties come with all the accessories they need, including a litter box, scratching post, fluffy bed, play tunnel, and plenty of toys to keep them happy. We’re hoping to find a home where Bug and Meadow can continue their journey together. They’ve found comfort and joy in each other, and we’re sure they’ll bring the same to you!

Hello, my name is Frankie, and I am 11 months old. I'm a small boy but I got big personality! I love to be held and petted. My favorite is sitting by you when you watch TV. On the armrest of the couch on by your head. I guess I'm curious to know what you are doing.I love mealtime. I will be by your feet waiting for my din-din. Oh, my kitty food is so yummy! I like to hang out in the kitchen. Especially when my foster Grandma is making meals. She lets me have a little bit of chicken. Oh, so yummy! All I do is sit by her feet and give a little meow but sometimes I pester her and give a head butt. The other kitties join in on our "begging" for chicken and next thing you know it we have a circle of kitties looking for Grandma's chicken. My foster home that has other cats and dogs. When I first came to my foster home, I was a bit scared of the dogs. But I watched the other kitties and learned - dogs aren't so bad. Our big brother Trigger (my foster Mom's cat) is very dog savvy so I'm learning from him how to live with dogs. We sit up on a shelf, table or a cat tree and watch them. But when everyone is all calm and quiet, that's when I will come closer to a dog. Maybe my new home if they have a dog, it can be a calm doggie or a cat savvy dog.I like to follow my foster Mom around. She said my name should be Shadow instead of Frankie. Silly, huh? Maybe if you work from home, I can be a good co-worker. I will remind you when it's time for din-din.I'm a bit on the small side. I weigh 5#s and I could gain a little bit of weight but I'm also height challenged. There's a kitty breed known as Munchkins. They are also height challenged. Maybe I have some Munchkin breeding. Who knows? One day I hope to have a family of my own and then I'll be King of the World with my new family.Want to come on out and have a playdate?xoxo,FrankieFrankie is in our foster home in Aurora. Story
Hello, my name is Stasia and I'm about 1 1/2 years old. I'm a pretty grey tabby but some silvery highlights. My photos don't capture my beauty. I look too serious. I'm actually camera shy. I always wonder why my foster Mom takes so many pictures of us kitties. So, to see my prettiness I guess you're going to have to meet me.When you meet me, you will meet the most confident and friendliest kitty of them all. I love affection and people. I like to be around you all the time especially when you are cooking or working on your computer. I'm very curious - my foster Mom calls me nosy. Sure, I'm nosy but that's how I become smart. See, I'm not just a beauty but I'm a smart cookie!I've been around dogs and I've learned some of their traits. No, I don't bark but when I see something that I need to alert my foster Mom I let out a little growl. One day Amazon was delivering and it was dark outside. I saw him because of my penetrating cat eyes so I let my foster mom know someone's on the porch. She calls me her watch kitty. I think I was growling because 1) there's a box on the porch and I must play with it or 2) I'm alerting her to something new. I think both.Speaking of play - I love to play! I love to play with other cats and my toys. I like to help other foster kitties that are shy or scared to come out of hiding. I tell them in my silent way "just watch me and I can show you how much fun being a cat is." I have a friend in my foster home. Her name is Linguini (she's also looking for a forever home). When we came to our foster home Linguini hid so I helped Linguini get out of hiding. I first hid with her which is not me. I don't hide but I just was soothing Linguini and then next day we were both out playing. I must have that knack.I make my foster Mom laugh every day. My pictures may look serious but I like to be silly.I love to play chase with the other cats. My silly trick is I run around and then slide under a rug so they can't find me. I then jump out and I'm the Chaser. If nobody wants to play with me that's ok, I then find a little ball or even better - when a dog drops their kibble, I play with that. It goes under my favorite rug and there I am again hiding and then jumping out.I like laundry day. I like when my foster Mom is in between in folding towels. Towels straight from the dryer is my nap place.Quiet time, I'm hanging out in a cat tree or a bed with other fur-babies. I'm good with dogs too.I like the days when the doors & windows are open, and I can feel the fresh air. I never want to go outside but I like to look out the door or window. I like looking out the front door and watch the birds or squirrels eat. I stand on my 2 back legs like a dog does and checkout what they are doing. Maybe when I look out the front door, I'm looking for my forever family to come meet me or maybe that Amazon guy for more boxes. Are you my forever Mom or Dad? I hope so and I hope we can meet soon!xoxo,Stasia,Stasia is in our foster home in Joliet.
