Gertie is a lovely approximately 5yr old spayed female. Gertie is a special needs kitty because she has skin allergies. She is currently on an every other day medication (easy to give, not expensive) and a limited ingredient diet (she can’t have poultry, for example). Gertie is sweet and playful. She likes looking out the window and loves napping on a pillow. She was part of a feral colony, but was an outsider in the colony. She asked for help and we answered. She has enjoyed becoming a house pet and is curious about other cats. We believe with a slow introduction she would be ok with other cats. It is kitten season and it’s hard to find home for adults, much less one with special needs. Please spread the word about Gertie! Ahsoko Tano and Sabine Wren are a 4 month old bonded female pair. They both know their names and come running…especially when treats are involved. Temptations and Churu are a crowd favorite. These ladies purr and purr when picked up. Ahsoko Tano bows her head when she wants pets while Sabine makes you a tray of buttery biscuits. Both have beautiful, big round eyes-almost Disney like. They have been in foster care since 4 weeks old. Both girls are spayed, vaccinated, and FIV Negative, and microchipped. When the duo first entered foster care Ahsoko had some difficulty walking due to malnutrition. She has fully recovered and maintained her beautiful disposition, just like her name sake. Sabine has always been the kind and supportive side kick, never bullying her sister. The girls have lived with dogs and other cats. Their ideal home would have a warm sunny window, a cat tree, feather toys, a scrunchy ball and a loving Hooman to pet and love them.

Jessie was the only kitten rescued from an over sixty dog breeding/hoarding case last summer. Since then Jessie has been living at Renegade Paws Rescue. Growing up she was constantly constipated and had trouble with her bowel movements resulting in her having a procedure to get her rectum stretched. She still has a little trouble hitting the litter box every once in a while with bowels. However she is able to urinate in the litter box normal. Cindy is an affectionate, quirky, and very clever 5-year-old tortie with a unique squinty expression. She is sweet as can be, loves to cuddle and loves to be with her people at all times. She will play fetch and especially loves spring toys and catnip. She has lived with dogs and other cats, and enjoys their company. Cindy is highly allergic to dust mites and 24 different types of pollen/trees/grass, so she cannot be outside (other than in her carrier) for any reason. The house gets vacuumed regularly and I run an air purifier unit (which will come with her) for dust mites. To keep her allergies in check, Cindy eats single-protein rabbit-based food, and requires a dose of liquid Atopica each day (orally or in her food), and a subcutaneous injection of anti-allergy serum weekly. She would do well with a family who has someone home much of the time, and who can work together when it’s time for her meds and injections. She doesn’t like them, which is why a 2-person tag team would be helpful - but she has never scratched or bitten while they’re being done. She will sometimes pee or poop outside her litter box, so it`s cleaned daily and has pads underneath and around it to contain any accidents.We`re looking for a new foster or forever home for Cindy because her current foster is facing two rounds of knee replacement surgery in the coming months and won`t be able to keep up with Cindy`s medical needs along with her two adopted senior cats.
