Story
Zane is still a very skiddish cat. His brothers socialized well, but he still has a scared streak. He needs more socialization that we can provide her at our shelter. He is not feral, but he will hide if you choose to adopt him until he becomes used to his home. With love and patience he will make someone a beautiful black cat.Due to the work he will need to socialize, we will adopt Zane, a fully vetted and microchipped cat, out for $75. This will help cover a portion of his vetting costs.New to shelter and still being socialized a bit. Better picture coming soon.

Story
This group of cats were rescued from an unsafe environment at a gas station. They were too young to fend for themselves and too wild to be tamed. They realize that the humans caring for them are not there to hurt them, but they don't realize they can be their friends. Therefore we have made the choice that they are old enough to go outside and live their life with a purpose and to enjoy freedom along under the watchful eye of a caring human. If you can feed and provide an outdoor shelter when weather gets bad for this group of kitties, we would love for you to consider them. They will help you with any rodent problem you may be experiencing. They will also be fun to just watch.Who knows, after a year or two of good living, they may actually come up and request a pet. They may do it earlier. It is hard to predict with cats like these. We hope to adopt all 5 out together. They have all been altered, vaccinated, combo tested and will be microchipped. You can adopt 5 ready to go hunters and players for a donation to go toward the money spent on their vetting. Let us know if they can help you out!!

Story
Hibbett came from the litter of "Mt. Berry Kitties". They came to us as a small litter of kittens and no mother around. They spent time with a fine foster who helped get the used to humans and get them healthy. Hibbett has a stump tail like his brother Belk. The entire group of kitties are now socialized and healthy and ready to find their forever home. Somewhere they don't have to worry about being put out again. They are full of energy. They play all the time. They need to be in a home where they can have other playmates, whether it be other cats or humans who love to interact with them. They haven't been around dogs but they are all young enough to get used to any cat friendly dog. Come and meet them and see which one (or more than one) of these kitties you'd like to make a part of your family.

Story
Meet Hugs and Kisses! 🐱💞Hugs and Kisses came to us with their mom and siblings back in July. The whole family was a bit shy at first, but with time and care, Mom and the rest of the litter blossomed into friendly cats and found their forever homes.Hugs and Kisses, however—despite their sweet names—are still learning to trust people. That’s why they’re still waiting for their perfect match. ❤️This special pair will need a very patient adopter who understands that love takes time. They could make wonderful indoor garage cats and help with rodent control, but with patience and gentle attention, we believe they also have the potential to become loving companions. They just need someone who will give them the time, space, and kindness to show them that people can be trusted—and that they are truly loved. 💕They are fully vetted -- altered, vaccinated, combo tested and microchipped. We will have a special adoption fee on the pair because we know they will be going to a special person for adoption.

Story
Meet Cougar — A Young Adult Looking for the Love She DeservesCougar came to us from a neighboring shelter that was overcrowded and facing heartbreaking decisions. With so many animals coming in and not enough space, they were preparing to euthanize to make room. Thankfully, we were able to step in, save Cougar’s life, and bring her safely to our shelter.Cougar is a young adult—probably between and year and two years. Even though she’s beautiful and sweet, she hasn’t had much interest simply because she’s not a kitten. Many people come in looking for tiny, bouncy babies, but adopting an adult cat has so many perks. Adult cats usually skip the nighttime zoomies, sleep a bit later, settle down earlier, and are perfectly content to curl up beside you while you watch TV. They still enjoy playtime and little moments of silliness—but only as long as they want. They won’t wear you out!Cougar is exactly this kind of companion—calm, affectionate, warm, and ready to bond deeply with her forever family. Now she just needs someone who will appreciate her gentle spirit and give her the loving home she truly deserves. She is fully vetted—spayed, vaccinated, combo tested, and microchipped.Special adult adoption fee: $100We hope this helps her find her home soon so she doesn’t have to spend any more time in a shelter.Would you like to meet this lovely girl? She’s waiting for you.
