Story
Meet Pepe le Pew, a black and white kitten whose silky soft fur and mesmerizing green eyes make him a charming bundle of elegance. With a demeanor as smooth as his coat, Pepe embodies the essence of a true gentleman in the feline world. Pepe le Pew stands out for his calm and gentle nature. He is the most observant of his siblings, taking in the world with a quiet curiosity and an air of sophistication. His serene presence is complemented by a deep love for affection. When it comes to being a lap cat, Pepe le Pew excels—he's a true purring machine who will happily snuggle up and relax in your arms. Despite his tranquil temperament, Pepe is far from a passive kitten. He enjoys playing with his siblings, engaging in lively games and adventures. Yet, after playtime, he seamlessly transitions into a cuddle buddy, loving every moment spent in the warmth and comfort of a close embrace. Pepe is 3.5 months old as of Sept 2023. He is fully vetted: spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and flea-free. They tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Pepe must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another playful cat. Here is some information about why we have this policy: Two kittens are better than one Check out more photos and videos of Pepe and his siblings here: Pepe Photos If you are interested in meeting Pepe or want to learn more about him please fill out an application here: Our Adoption Application Questions? adopt@littlelivesatl.org

Story
Meet Swiss: The Fluffy Tuxedo Charmer with Sparkling Eyes! If you're looking for a kitten who's as affectionate as he is adorable, Swiss is the one for you! This stunning tuxedo baby, with his lush fur, mesmerizing multicolored green eyes, and irresistible face, will steal your heart the moment you meet him. Swiss is one of the Cheese Litter babies, raised in a loving foster home with his sweet mom, Brie, and his playful siblings since they were just 3 days old. This early bonding has made him a confident, well-socialized, and ultra-snuggly kitten who loves people and has a big personality to match. Personality: Swiss is a social butterfly with a heart full of love! He absolutely adores humans and considers them a part of his little "crew." Whether you’re playing, cuddling, or simply chatting with him, Swiss is always eager to be near you. He’s extremely trusting and, when picked up, he becomes a total ragdoll, purring away as if he’s in kitten paradise. Even more charming—he purrs when you give him a bath (which he doesn’t need anymore, but he’s used to them from when he was a tiny baby)! It’s clear that Swiss has a heart of gold and is always ready to give and receive affection. Favorite Things (in no particular order): Humans: Swiss is absolutely crazy about people. He’ll follow you around, make air biscuits, and even stand in the corner of the room just waiting for you to notice him. The moment you lock eyes with him, he’ll start kneading with his little paws, showing just how much he loves you. His Siblings: Swiss has a strong bond with his brothers and sisters, and he’s often the one leading the charge when it comes to playtime! He’s confident and playful, always up for a game of tag or a wrestling match with his littermates. Wet Food Pâté and Churu treats: Swiss is a true foodie and will happily come running for his favorite meal. The sound of a can opening is enough to get him hopping in excitement like a little bunny! Playful & Confident: Swiss is the leader when it comes to playtime with his siblings, and he brings that same playful energy to his interactions with humans. Whether he’s chasing toys, climbing, or exploring, this little tuxedo kitten is always up for adventure. His confidence and outgoing personality make him the perfect companion for anyone looking for an engaging, energetic kitten who loves to explore and interact. Cuddly & Sweet: Though Swiss is an energetic and playful boy, he’s also a total snuggle bug. He’s constantly purring and will happily curl up on your lap, making biscuits with his tiny paws while you pet him. His favorite thing might just be being groomed—you’ll often find him purring in contentment as you brush through his fluffy coat. Bonus: Swiss has the cutest little mew when he wants your attention—it’s like a soft, sweet call that melts your heart every time. Whether you’re talking to him, playing, or just hanging out, Swiss is always happy to be by your side. Swiss needs to be adopted with one of her siblings (Cheese Litter), or into a home with young and playful cat. Here is some information why we have this policy: Two kittens are better than one For a pair of kittens we offer a $25 discount for each, from their adoption fee. Swiss and his littermates are are two and a half months old as of Nov 1 24 and fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, defleaed. They tested negative for FIV and Felv. Check out more photos of Swiss and his siblings here: Cheese litter photos and videos Interested in learning more about him? Story
Planned PEThood is seeking adopters who have safe outdoor housing that can provide unsocialized cats with a chance at life. These cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ear tipped. There is no adoption fee for our working cats, but we happily accept donations to continue the program’s efforts. If you are interested submit an ’employee request form’ below or call/e-mail with questions. Our Working Cats program is designed to place cats into safe environments where they are valued for their hunting skills. The cats in this program are considered ‘unadoptable’ by local animal control agencies and have been placed in this program as an alternative to euthanasia. The cats may not be suitable for adoption because they are unsocialized and/or did not acclimate to living in close quarters with humans. A working cat is a type of domestic cat that “works” for its upkeep by hunting vermin, such as rodents. They are commonly employed where pest control is needed: in barns, farms, factories, warehouses, stores, churchyards, and private property. One benefit of using a working cat is that they alleviate the need for harmful pesticides in pest control. Through our partnership with Gwinnett County Animal Welfare & Enforcement and other animal control agencies, we have been able to save over 750 unsocialized cats by sending them to working cat environments. Contact us today at 678-541-9370 or barncats@pethoodga.org if you would like more information on this program.

I'm a little Calico, really, I'm small for my age. I don't have an attitude... that's what people say about kitties like me. I love mealtime, and if I want more, I'll let you know by showering you with head rubs. My brother and I love to play chase and wrestle with each other. Laps are the best, and I'm especially intrigued by anything shiny around your neck. I have sweet purrs and make chirpy sounds on the way to the litter box...silly, I know. I am one of a litter of 4. My brother and I are the only ones left and we'd love to go to our forever home together. He's a fun, happy boy! Chassis is negative for FeLV, neutered, and up to date on her vaccines. She has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoption process. Ready to Adopt? Please complete the online application here: http://www.pethoodga.org/index.php/cat-adoption-request Please email your application to Paula, the foster mom for review. pap1005@bellsouth.net

Story
This little guy came to my doorstep in mid-September, with some wounds and being much skinnier than he is now. I've tried my best to keep him, but my other cat has been experiencing some stress-related urinary problems with this little guy in the house, so unfortunately, he needs to go ASAP. I wish I could keep him, but I made a commitment to my first kitty a couple of years ago, so he's my first priority. He's FIV/FeLV negative, up to date on his rabies vaccine, and received an allergy and flea shot during his initial checkup. He's super friendly and playful, estimated to be about 1 year of age, give or take. Responds to "Whiskers" and "Booger", or really any name/nickname ending with -er.

Not good with cats,
Story
Theo is a very dashing young man. His story on how he became a sudden member of our family starts when a family member decided to teach Theo without permission to use the cat door, so now he comes and goes as he pleases. We are not sure of his age, but he's too young to be a kitten and too young to be an adult. What we look for in a new home is just a loving family that will have patience with him. He is very shy, but when he's comfortable he's a little sassy. He loves head scratches though not fond of petting on his back and belly. He is very sweet and polite when it comes to food. Sadly we won't be about to take care of him much longer because he doesn't understand the boundaries of other cats, all he wants is to play but he gets too pushy.
