I am the most introspective kitten of my litter often watching contentedly as my brother and sister pounce on each other like silly tigers. I am perfectly content to entertain myself whenever necessary. My foster mom says that I am the most nimble and agile runner she has ever seen. She even says I am like a race horse all compacted down into a tiny kitten body! One of my favorite toys are those little rubber balls that go flying across the floor as I stealthily swipe at them as they pass by me. Foster mom says I am just beautiful to watch because I light up the room with my playful curiosity. I really enjoy time with my humans so I will be a loving and loyal companion when I go home with my forever family. My foster mom named me that because she was eating a pomegranate when I climbed on her lap for the first time to check her out. That lady is so silly! My first few months of life on this beautiful planet have been pretty interesting. I was really scared when I was left alone as a tiny kitten at a busy truck stop. These HUGE, LOUD machines kept zooming by me and I didn't know what to do! I was so glad when a nice man picked me up and talked softly to me telling me that everything was going to be OK. He brought me home to meet his nice family. They were going to keep me but they already had a dog who didn't like me much so they knew they had to help me find another place. I am now living with my foster mom who is super cool. She gives me lots of fun things to play with like baskets with lids for me to pop out, tunnels to crawl through, and boxes to use as cool hiding places. After all, we tiny tigers have a good bit of energy so we need lots of toys! Foster mom has started to help me learn to walk on a harness outside so that I can touch the grass and feel the breeze. I am doing really well and it makes me so happy! My favorite thing to do after I am all worn out is to chill out with my foster mom. I snuggle very close to her with my head on her lap or arm. I gently touch her holding her close to make sure she doesn't go anywhere until our cuddle session is all done. I will do best in a home with older children or teenagers. You see, sometimes I get a little overstimulated when I have lots of energy all bundled up inside of me. I may nip if a little kid chases me or tries to pick me up when I really just need a little space. I am an active and adventurous little girl who always has love to share with my favorite humans. Lucy is approximately 2 years old, weighs 10.8 lbs and is energetic. She has a healthy appetite and is house trained. Her hair is soft, she loves to be petted and will agree to sleep with you if you would like for her to (very helpful in cold weather). She needs a home soon because her currant humans are moving out of state and can't take her with them. She is currently an inside/outside cat but would need to be confined inside until she is familiar with her new home and humans. She has her own bed and toys which will come with her.

Estimated DOB 8/22/22. Mindy is a petite, very smart and sweet cat. She gets along very well with the other cats and she loves to play. She loves attention, including belly rubs once she gets to know and trust you.

Delilah was trapped in a feral colony and she was a very feral kitten when she came to us. Unfortunately, she has retained a lot of her feral qualities. She enjoys sitting on the cat trees and looking outside but she doesn't like to be touched. She is not aggressive and will warn you if you get too close. She does get along with the other cats. As we make a committment to all the kitties we take in, she will always have a home with us but she would appreciate having a home of her own. Maybe she just hasn't met her hooman yet.

DOB 2/23/21 estimate. Grasshopper was truly a feral kitten when we got her. She was hissy/spitty but didn't know what to do when that didn't scare me away. Since then, she has become such a sweet little girl. She is always the first one to come running when I enter the room and she is quick to purr to let me know she is happy to see me. She loves to be held and pet. She loves to explore and gets along with the other kitties. She doesn't like to be alone so she would need to be with another sweet cat.

Angie has been returned to us through no fault of her own. She misses having a family to love her and a home to call her own. Her poor little heart is broken and she would really like to have a new family that will love her and help mend her broken heart. She would like to be an only cat but she will probably be okay with another sweet cat. A little background: Angie was found in the middle of Hwy 120 in Grayson during a torrential downpour. She was soaking wet and scared. Cars were swerving around her to avoid hitting her. A nice lady scooped her up and took her to the nearest shop which just happened to be owned by a BackStreet Kittens foster mom! We estimated that we was about 5 weeks old at the time. She went to foster care and then was adopted in Feb 2021.

DOB 9/1/18 estimated UPDATE: Sweet Daisy has grown up with us at BSK. She is such a sweet girl. She loves to be held and get attention from her foster. However, she is very scared of strangers. If you are looking for a great cat, please come meet her. She will have to choose her new person but if you are the lucky one she chooses, you will have a little shadow. Daisy was the smallest of a litter of 5. She was born to a feral mom. When she was about 7 weeks old, her mom left her and her brother Duke at the feeders home. Daisy was very sick with an upper respiratory infection. Duke was taking care of her. They were both caught and immediately taken to the vet. They were both put on antibiotic and are healthy and happy now. Daisy is a very sweet, active girl. She loves to cuddle with her foster mom and showers her with kisses. Daisy is very bonded to her foster. She will need to "choose" her new owner. She was adopted out with her brother Duke but both were so scared that they were returned almost immediately.

DOB - 4/28/21 estimate Jody was a very feral kitten when he came to us. He has made great progress. He loves to be pet and is even okay being held. He actively seeks out his foster for attention! He is still timid with new people so he will need a very special person to adopt him who will give him the time he needs to blossom in a new home. He really is a sweet guy once he decides you can be trusted. he can be aggressive towards other cats so he would prefer to be an only cat or be adopted with his sister Buffy.

Abandoned in front of my house by owner. I tried to reach out to her, but the number she has on the microchip is wrong. 2 cats were abandoned in front of my house. I need to rehome them. I do not want to give them to the shelter.
