Story
Roxanne is a beautiful young adult cat who is looking for her forever home. We saw her at a rural county shelter and had to help her find her new family and find out more about her. Roxannes prior family was unable to keep her and her sister Savannah due to major health concerns. We felt so bad about their situation that we had to help. We would absolutely love it if they were adopted together but understand they may be split up. Roxanne is extremely friendly, but shy at times. She has been spayed, is microchipped, up to date on flea/heartworm medication, FeLV/FIV negative and current on her vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting our beautiful Roxanne or her sister Savannah, please complete our on-line cat questionnaire at the following web address: https://pawprojectofgeorgia.org/cat-questionnaires Email it to adoptions@pawprojectofgeorgia.org. We will review the questionnaire and get back to you.July 5, 2024, 11:04 am

Story
Planned PEThood is seeking adopters who have safe outdoor housing that can provide unsocialized cats with a chance at life. These cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ear tipped. There is no adoption fee for our working cats, but we happily accept donations to continue the program’s efforts. If you are interested submit an ’employee request form’ below or call/e-mail with questions. Our Working Cats program is designed to place cats into safe environments where they are valued for their hunting skills. The cats in this program are considered ‘unadoptable’ by local animal control agencies and have been placed in this program as an alternative to euthanasia. The cats may not be suitable for adoption because they are unsocialized and/or did not acclimate to living in close quarters with humans. A working cat is a type of domestic cat that “works” for its upkeep by hunting vermin, such as rodents. They are commonly employed where pest control is needed: in barns, farms, factories, warehouses, stores, churchyards, and private property. One benefit of using a working cat is that they alleviate the need for harmful pesticides in pest control. Through our partnership with Gwinnett County Animal Welfare & Enforcement and other animal control agencies, we have been able to save over 750 unsocialized cats by sending them to working cat environments. Contact us today at 678-541-9370 or barncats@pethoodga.org if you would like more information on this program.

I'm a little Calico, really, I'm small for my age. I don't have an attitude... that's what people say about kitties like me. I love mealtime, and if I want more, I'll let you know by showering you with head rubs. My brother and I love to play chase and wrestle with each other. Laps are the best, and I'm especially intrigued by anything shiny around your neck. I have sweet purrs and make chirpy sounds on the way to the litter box...silly, I know. I am one of a litter of 4. My brother and I are the only ones left and we'd love to go to our forever home together. He's a fun, happy boy! Chassis is negative for FeLV, neutered, and up to date on her vaccines. She has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoption process. Ready to Adopt? Please complete the online application here: http://www.pethoodga.org/index.php/cat-adoption-request Please email your application to Paula, the foster mom for review. pap1005@bellsouth.net

Story
Hey y’all, my name is SQUEEBLES, and I am 2 years old. I am a sweet girl who needs to be an only cat in a quiet home. You see, I had a home, where I was called Mia, but some new kittens came to live with me. Unfortunately, I really did not like the kittens, so it was best I try to find a new home. It is sad that I lost my home, but I am staying positive that my forever home will find me soon. I can be anxious and shy at first, but with time I will warm up and be your favorite girl. I love to be petted and curl up in your lap. I would be the purr-fect kitty to watch tv or read a book with you. Please open your home and heart to me, so I can find a family. SQUEEBLES is negative for FIV and FeLV, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations. The kitty has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoption process. The adoption fee has been sponsored! If you would like to meet SQUEEBLES or know if she will be attending an adoption event, please contact the foster, Patti, at pattipew@yahoo.com or text 678-372-2494. Ready to adopt?
